The waiters and servers are very attentive to your table. They always make sure you have enough food at all times.
There were not enough variety of meat, no seafood, and salad bar was not much. Our birthday party was disappointed with food.
Really could have been a great dinner and special event. The staff is superb. But we were seated at a 4 top right at the kitchen. Very busy spot. My daughter was pushed over while seated by a patron who was trying to avoid the kitchen doors. Really should not be a table there. But for that it was an excellent dinner. The hostess was very unhelpful when we complained.
I guess this month consist of I lot of Christmas party's. So drinks and food was running a little behind. But over all it was ok I guess
My friend married a vegan....he needs a meat day.
The experience was amazing! The service was perfect thanks do Daniel and Mr. Pizzi.
It was great.
It was very crowded because it was Thanksgiving. The food was nice but I feel just a little over priced. Would visit again, however.
Great service and good food makes this our default restaurant for no-fuss holiday dining.
Quality of food and service is not as great as before. Been dinong in this place for years.
A good place for Happy Hours at DTLA
Food was great but we never saw our server. I had to like wave him down every time.
The food was excellent and the service was great. Would definitely return with my family
They don’t have a good service at all and it’s very expensive
Food was to die for very delicious and the passion drink was really good
Clean professional restaurant but food was mediocre even the meat(and I ordered the top meat they had)was not very good-disappointed and won't go back
I had been to other locations out of state so I should have known better but it was business meeting -and all had the same opinion so we will meet elsewhere next time
Great food, awesome service very nice atmosphere.
We loved it and everything was perfect for a birthday celebration. Thank you!
I found the restaurant quite expensive and did not get served meat very often, but the meats and the buffet are good quality and the place looks nice.
You need to be very hungry if you want it to be good value.
I’ve been to other Fogos and this is the worst. The don’t always have valet; we were also sat away from the main area and got the scraps of meat that was left from the main area. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.
Service was not good
We love Fogo the Chao in Chicago and we thought we will have the same amazing experience in LA, so we were thrilled to find a Fogo the Chao restaurant close to our hotel.
The restaurant facility in Figueroa St is just average, not impressive at all and the service is not what we are used to. The food and wine were fantastic, as expected.
My boyfriend took me for my 24th Birthday and we loved the “Full Churrasco Experience” for the price, it is worth it because you are brought all the meats you can eat, while getting buffet cold bar sides and salads.
I was pretty impressed with the fact that even though we were stuck in traffic, I called to push the reservation back and when we arrived it only took about less then 10 minutes to be seated.
Staff was friendly and attentive. I was blown away with the “choose any dessert on the house” because of my birthday. Just an over all great time ! We will be returning soon !
Very good experience, soup to nuts.
The Salad Bar was wonderful. The meat was overcooked for my taste and bland. The waiter went beyond the call of duty to bring different cuts for me to try.
The Pineapple ended up being my steak tonight. I was very satisfied. You do not have to be a meat eater yo enjoy this restaurant.
On the other hand my husband was in heaven and loved everything. All of the servers were very attentive
Our server was checking on us periodically
Food was ok service was very slow & when we requested we’ll done meat it was still very pink in the inside so I sent my food back.
Lots of selections at salad bar. I had the Gaucho lunch with a cut of meat. Both times meat was cut at table it was either too rare or well done. A little frustrating having to wait for the right temp meat. Love the cheese rolls, alway perfect!
Food was amazing and the service was too.
Food is good, service a little slow. Meat servers don’t come around often enough.
we were celebrating a birthday with family and friends our server Rick was amazing, we had a very large party and he was very tentative to all of us as a whole especially explaining the menu and meat selections, very knowledgeable on the menu, will definitely love to dine at this location again
In all fairness, the meat offering amazing and their servers were exceptional.
We decided to splurge on an expensive wine we loved and only one server chose to refresh our glasses as we consumed our wine. We poured the rest ourselves.
No one checked in with us and a meat caballero had to request fresh plates for our second course.
We only recommend this restaurant if you have lots of time and don’t care if you have consistent service.
There was one gal who really stepped in to provide attention. We loved her...
We are generally generous with our gratuity -this time we downgraded our appreciation.
I don’t generally write reviews but this one had to be written.
Great food and experience.
Very good salad selection and the accompanying meat is great
Must have been an especially busy night...there were large gaps in-between the meats being brought to our table. When a couple of guys in our party looked like they were done eating, the servers seemed to interpret that as the whole table was done too. Not sure what's the point of having the red/green cards in that case.
The salad bar wasn’t kept full, variety was dimmer compared to other Fogo locations and the feijoada tasted old.
My 13 year old graduated from the Explorer Academy. Fogo is his favorite restaurant. Our Server Eric is always awesome as always. Can’t imagine dining without him. Food is great, service is great.
Love Fogo! Best Brazilian BBQ join in town! The DTLA location is particularly good. Service is amazing and the meat is extra good!
The meat servers were so good and fast here, I had to flip my sign to red: "no thanks" which I never do until I'm absolutely done eating (pic attached). This was my first time ever to take a break. (I resumed again of course).
I can't wait to be back!
The service and food were outstanding as usual. Excellent buffet, variety of salads and sides and quality of food.
