Love this place. Try to come every chance we get. Generally, we patronize the one in Beverly Hills. We come from Ontario Calif; decided to stop in downtown LA. We were not disappointed. Staff were very attentive, food good, wonderful time.
Not quite like I remember it years ago. Food was ok; quite honestly not the most memorable. Ambiance was nice but I wouldn’t consider it very “upscale”. Service was good and attentive. But won’t return for future visits.

I am a huge fan of Fogo de Chão in Beverly Hills, so thought I would I take my family of four out for a special dinner and explore one of our favorite restaurants in another location, downtown (my first time). Our server was very sweet when she welcomed us and took our order at 6:15 pm, however she didn’t check back on us until we had been seated for just over an hour. Perhaps they were short staffed? We had to flag down other servers and team members for help with more drinks and requesting meat.
Anyone who has dined at Fogo de Chão before knows that once your card is flipped “green”, you are constantly asked by polite servers roaming with amazing cuts of meat, it’s sometimes overwhelming. This time, they seemed to trickle out of the kitchen. And to make matter worse, they would often pass our table without even looking. The hospitality element was blatantly absent. It was a very strange feeling.
As great as the meat is, let’s be real, the delicious and addictive pan de queso (cheese bread bites) are really the star. I’m sad they no longer arrive in a basket cradled with a cloth napkin to keep them warm. This time they arrived in tiny plastic bowl holding 4; we had to constantly ask for more.
I don’t know if this was just an off night for the restaurant, but my family and I were very disappointed. That is a strong statement because we are easy to please. The space is small and frankly not a lot of ambiance. For how much we pay, I’m thinking I will only go back to Beverly Hills...but truthfully, I’m not sure I’m interested in giving it a second chance. It makes me very sad as I always tell people it’s one of my favorite places.
It smells really bad in the restaurant.
Normally the service is excellent. I this visit, the carver failed to return for my second serving. The waitress did not bring my change and when asked failed again to return. I had to walk to the bar to ask a third time and was still not given my change for quite some time. When a second waitress finally brought it, there was no apologies.
We love this place to eat. Staff is very friendly our waiter Eric is exceptional. We recommend you try eating here.
Good experience overall
Celebrating the graduation of our sons and end of school year. The servers were very attentive and the food was outstanding. The server also suggested drinks and were making sure we had all we could eat . Manager came by also to see if everything was ok. An outstanding experience and will be back
Service was non existent.
I’ve been to other locations in San Diego and Beverly Hills and always enjoyed my experience. The tables at this location were cramped and too close together. The buffet wasn’t very big and not kept well. Children grabbing food and returning it. The meats took awhile to come out. Rib eye, filet mignion, and lamb were delicious. The garlic meat had a lot of tendon.
It’s way more chill than the BH location but their salad bar is def not at the same level by any means. The service here is spotty. We’ve come here before and received impeccable service but then there are days like today (father’s day) and they were giving out bogo coupons for the next visit so the place was packed. Our reservation was at 5pm, we show up at 4:55pm, hostess had a hard time locating our reservation and finally she did. I double confirmed with her that she found me because I booked through open table and I wanted to make sure I got points. The good part was that kids are free under 7 and our 4 yr old got to try some different types of meat. He’s not a big or adventurous eater so he got bored really quick while we waited and waited for the servers with meat. Maybe it was where we were sitting but they kept skipping us and I finally had to flag down people and tell them which types of meat I wanted. One hour later we were full, mostly from time passing and eating our salad bar picks. I didn’t even see the lamb chops and only saw it because someone next to us was eating it. We basically only got half the meat. Anyway we are back home and I get this email from opentable saying I was a no show at fogo. Hm, so I guess the hostess didn’t actually find my name. Annoying! Well I’m glad I have photos now with time stamp to prove I was there.
Best churrasco in Los Angeles. Being here a couple of times. Shrimps are also a must!!!
Always make a reservation. I wish the desserts were free. The food is amazing. you have no less than 3 people always making sure you're doing ok. They move the experience along. It was great as always.
The food is excellent, the lamb is delicious, the service is amazing, the sides are delicious, the maple bacon is awesome and the entire staff is superb.

If you have been in a Fogo de Chão before know that this one is the worst of all of them. I’ve been to at least 10 different ones and this is by far the worst.
First started with the girl at the entrance saying the wrong price for us. Second they stopped serving us food after a while; I kept constantly asking because the green sign didn’t work. The variaty of meats was way bellow the average, same for the salad buffet. In the end they just brought the bill without us even asking; like they were asking us to leave. I had to listen to comments from my friends like: “The best meat only came once to our table”. That’s because it was their first try.
I would avoid this one if I were you. Look for another Fogo de Chão.
Waited over 30 minutes for filet tenderloin, made multiple requests...still nothing! Finally after 3 or 4 requests we got one small piece...we were to full to enjoy it! They seem to do it on purpose. Bait and switch after spending 350.00 ? ...why?
The wait staff were amazingly-amazing!

Food is great especially the meats. Service was a bit lacking. Beverly Hills location is better service wise. An ordered beer never came but was on the bill. They removed it.
I recommend the lunch menu market table and add 1 meat. I don’t really eat all
Meats so I’m good withe one. Make reservations so you don’t have to wait. Did I mention the bacon is super good and also make sure you try the cheese breads. They make them fresh so they are delicious.
My sons 24th Birthday and his first time at Fogo de Chao, we all loved the food and service was great. Thanks!

The meat cuts were over cooked for my taste. I like medium rare.

I have been to several Fogo’s in different cities and this one was the lesser of the others comparatively. The service was subpar and they had barely any meat runners the whole time there, which made meat service quite slow. Maybe they do that as a strategy to serve less meats I’m not sure. Service quality is the number one thing I look for at these restaurants mainly because my first experience in Indianapolis Fogo was superb and ruined it for all the other locations that don’t put that kind of emphasis into the experience they are giving their customers.
We met friends for dinner. Started with a traditional Brazilian cocktail followed by two bottles of wine. Loved all the meats and overwhelmed by all the delicious choices on the side bar-we all went back several times. My recommendation, pace yourself. There is so much food and everything deserves a taste!
Way overpriced. I basically paid for the meat (unlimited). The sides was mainly salad fixings and some mashed potatoes. The best thing was the rolls and pork... The steak was mainly undercooked, for my liking and unseasoned
While the food was awesome, and the "meat service" was great, the waiter service for drinks/special orders was not so great. It took so long to get our drink order. We ordered a few shots toward the end of our meal and they never came. We ordered a dessert that came as we were getting up to pay and leave. The dessert itself (Papaya Cream) was awful, and waiter gave us a few plastic cups to take it with us. Overall bill was $730 for 7 adults 5 kids. It was Mother's day so it was very busy, but I would imagine that preparations can be made for big days like that? Very crowded as well, and the table layout is not very ideal, you have to constantly squeeze in and out of rows to get to salad bar.
We were definitely full of food when we left and we were satisfied with the food, but service can make or break your overall experience which is why I would say no to this location again.
The salad bar is amazing and the selection of meats is extensive. Great place for a special occasion or for if you have a large appetite.
Do not go during holidays. Service is not what it normally is during non holidays. We only had the server come to our table twice with meat - never once did our server come to ask if we needed water or refills. This was not the normal experience I have had at Fogo before. This time was terrible. To top that, we were seated at a table directly next to the emergency exit and a walkway. I had to get up my table at least 3 times to make way for people to walk by. Just a terrible experience. My daughter's chair kept on opening the emergency door because her chair was directly next to the exit door. Very poor decision on management to place a table there - if there was a fire emergency, we would have been blocking that exit. A huge fire safety violation.
Please take a bit more care. A piece of hair was found in the chicken salad on the salad bar. Otherwise, food was great. Salad bar was fresh. My guess was impressed with the experience of unlimited/ non stop meat
They really sacrificed the quality of service and food for Mother’s Day. Big disappointment. Also, they went around with small shot glasses and were offering to people. We thought it was complimentary for Mother’s Day. When the bill arrived, they had charged us $12.50 for each shot! Very deceptive.
