   Food was delicious. Service was great. Been here many times before with pretty much positive experiences but tonight felt like they were REALLY trying hard to give us a great time! And it was !

   I had never been to Fogo de Chao for lunch. From what I could tell it seemed like the variety of meats brought to the table are not the same as dinner. The restaurant was not crowded at all and from what I counted there were 4 beef choices, a sausage which we only were offered once and chicken thighs. The beef cuts were very small where I had to ask for another cut each time. We all ordered the basic lunch for $53 per person. We weren’t sure what the difference was between the two lunch options. I think the other choice was $73? The hostess was very attentive and the main server was also good. I will be back but not for lunch.

   This was our first time going to Fogo de Chao. I’ve been to other Brazilian steak houses, so I have an understanding of how the serving process goes. The cost was apx $72 per person. This price would be fine if there were more meat selections in rotation, and meat options or seafood at the salad bar. Outside of the meat selections everything else was fine. We also had the tres leches cake and crème brûlée, both were excellent.

   We love going to Fogo de Chao however were disappointed in the lack of meat variety and availability. We had to ask for service the entire time and the variety was slim. Neither a NYC location and Huntington location have we experienced this, those locations have consistently been great however this Garden City location left us quite disappointed for my son’s bday

   My friends were in a meat coma! They couldn’t believe what they got for the Taste of Brazil value! I am pescatarian and chose the Branzino sharable dish. The length of time I waited for my fish built up so much anticipation and it did not disappoint! The freshest, well seasoned fish I’ve had in a while! Bravo FoGo!! I will be returning!!

   Food was great, did not have much to say about that and the buffet was also great, wide selection of food you can choose from. Service on the other hand was somewhat lacking, our server was ok, seemed a little not interested, but was still helpful in fixing minor issue with the wonky table. We had ordered for starters but it came with the main course at the same time which was disappointing and also we received side dishes meant for the main courses at least 15-20 minutes earlier so they were just getting cold at the table. In the end, I would say the food made up for the service experience. Minor issues that probably need to be addressed.

    Service was terrible today. We had to wait almost 20 minutes to be greeted at the table and be served water. Hardly any meat. Had to alert our waitress several times that we were waiting for meat and beverages. Staff was very non-chalant. The manager never came to the table to address our concerns. Horrible! I will no longer be returning to this location. They used to be great. Not sure what happened at this location. Something needs to change fast, or they will certainly close this establishment.
