We waited forever for drinks. Times when we had no drinks or food.
After making a reservation over two months ago we arrived to be told that the reservations were running two hours late.. Absolutely horrible service and poor management and will not be back.
waited 1hour and a half even we had a reservation. Our table was in the corner so the server kept skipping us. We need to ask some servers to come to give us food.
Reservation was for 5:45. Was seated at 7:30. People were crammed in the lobby waiting for a table. No masks, no social distancing. Food was great.
We had a reservation for Thanksgiving and so did everyone else. We had to wait about an hour and a half for our table (beyond our reservation time), which was not ideal. We were most impressed with the entire staff and how positive they remained and did not get flustered with the situation. They truly made it very enjoyable and the food was fantastic. Our server, Katie, did an amazing job.
Was not impressed at all for the price we pay they were consistently out of things and we got served a few minutes with continuously having our green cards up. It’s extremely loud and noisy bright lights definitely not for date or any special occasion. I’d say compares to a Golden Corral sadly
There were too many reservations. We had to wait 2 hours after checking in. That is ridiculous. Once seated the food and service were fine.
Food on the salad bar was unusual which we expected it to be. Meat was delicious.
However, and probably only because it was Thanksgiving, it took almost an hour past our reservation time to get seated. A few people left but for the most part, customers were patient and understanding and staff was surprisingly calm and courteous under difficult circumstance.
Thanksgiving meal. Sadly a 4:30 reservation lead to seating at 6:15. Although this is no fault of the hostesses or servers, it seemed the restaurant overbooked beyond their true availability.
Food was still good.
The only minus was waiting over an hour for our reservation made on OpenTable. BUT, we just enjoyed drinks at the bar. (The place was utterly packed, line out the door!) Totally worth the wait however! The food quality and selection was over-the-top wonderful. Our server, Daniel, was one of the best ever; he never seemed rushed, was always available and his pleasant manner just made us happy. The carved meats were perfectly prepared and so delicious. Can’t wait to return on a normal day!
Made reservations for 7 for thanksgiving and we were sat 1.5 hrs late.
Everything was outstanding. We had to wait at the bar for our table but Josh, Bryan and Leo were terrific. I’d go back and gladly wait again as long as one of those three are working!!! The food and service are always excellent!!
We had a wonderful dinner for 7 on Thanksgiving. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent.
When I booked our reservations I booked for 1230 on Thanksgiving which should’ve been the lunch menu. We only had the people that come around with the meat come to our table twice. For a party of seven adults and two kids that gave us one thing of mashed potatoes on our table and one thing of cheese bread to share for a party of nine we had to ask for more. When it came for a bill they charged us for 10 adults at $54 apiece when we were there for lunch time which should’ve been 37 apiece nowhere on their website or did their servers explain to us that it was going to be dinner pricing I had to ask them why they were charging $54 for a 18 month old and a three year old they fixed it then when the bill came back they still had charged for nine people so the bill had to be fixed again I do not feel like anybody at our table 8 $54 worth of food especially when only three different kinds of meats came to our table and two people didn’t even eat anything off the salad buffet.
The experience was was terrible and we will not be returning.
Wonderful thanksgiving experience - food and service were excellent
It was good service and really good food. Had a really good environment.
Good food, lots of variety. Great service, really fun for large groups.
Lovely evening with delicious food, including a chef's special item -- grilled pineapple. The servers, though very busy were efficient, kind and engaging. There was always a smile, and time to answer a question about our experience. It was a lovely evening, and I can't wait to return!
Everyone was attentive and friendly.
We seven -ages 8 to 68- had a lovely time celebrating my daughter’s 30th birthday in a separate nearly private room shared with one other group. Wait staff were outstanding and generous, attentive to our every need. The food was delicious- especially notable were lamb and filet mignon cuts. We opted for the wine special as well as many specialty drinks and of course, dessert.
As host for this event, I was gratified to hear murmurs of satisfaction from all our guests!
Our reservations were made for 8p, we arrived at 745p and didn’t get seated until 815p. We were told they needed to bus and set a table for us. What is the point of making a reservation for a half hour wait when we arrived early? The staff was courteous and polite, could be shortage in workers. When we were sat we weren’t greeted for another 15min, our server was great I feel they are just busy early on and maybe burnt out on dinner turn around. Our entire party opted for the full churassco experience and after visiting the Market Table & Feijoada Bar we were asked if we wanted anything else from there because they would close down soon. We quickly ate and left at by 915p, a short bday dinner celebration that felt rushed and cut short due to our late seating and service. Not as up to par as the downtown location.
While we had a reservation for 6:30 and arrived on time, we were forced to stand to the side for over 50 minutes before being seated. Not single worker was wearing a mask. Not the servers, hosts or the people walking table to table cutting the meat. Given the recent surge of Covid it seems highly irresponsible. The food was great and the servers were good, but the place was packed and we felt very uncomfortable. We didn't dare go to the salad bar that's self serve with 15+ people at it at any given moment.
Everything started out great. Our seating upstairs was perfect for low noise, privacy, and minimal traffic. The salad bar had a nice variety of choice. Service was good to start with but once we were done eating it was like we had the plaque. We had to flag a manager (?) down to help remove some plates and get a desert menu. When we finished the desert we had to flag down a server to get our bill which initially did not include our drinks so that had to be fixed. Then after waiting too long to pay I carried the payment to the register to get noticed. There was no acknowledgement of the lack of service at the end. Unfortunately they have now lost a further customer.
We can say we went but was not what we expected given the hype around the restaurant. Food was pretty good, wait staff was amazing but it is a very loud, busy as in alot going on. Not somewhere to relax and have conversation. Honestly just not our scene.
Great service, food and drinks, good special occasion restaurant.
Absolutely horrible experience with reservations. They were massively overbooked and we waited 2 hours past our reservation time. Be warned that apparently reservations mean absolutely nothing here!
This location has come a long way. Services has improved tremendously and Clarissa and all our gauchos were amazing.
We made a reservation for 7 and didn’t even get seated until 7:50. We were told they were behind but it wouldn’t be long at all. It was super crazy and OpenTable still had available reservations every 15 minutes. I don’t care who’s responsibility it was to shut down reservations but it was absolutely ridiculous.
Overall is was a great experience. It was very busy but we only had to wait 15 minutes before we were seated. The food and service were very good. Will definitely come back.
I’ve been to this Fogo a number of times, but this time I walked away thinking I had just eaten at a high end Golden Corral. The food was fine, but our drinks were never refilled (even our water) and as soon as they brought our check, they started to remove our plates. The entire place was chaotic and the server that initially took our order was never seen again. Tables were too close together and the clientele overall tilted towards sloppy and a hair too casual. If this was the first time I had eaten here it would be the last.
Love our Fogo de Chao!
The team provided excellent service tonight. Plenty of food offered and the quality was top notch. A wonderful meal and experience. Well done Fogo. Would highly recommend!
The food was good. But during the all dinner I didn’t understand who was my waiter. I ordered a glass of wine and I received it after 15 minutes, I ordered the second glass of wine and I received it after 10 minutes. The beer for my wife was without the glass. The chicken for my daughter were only two pieces, we had to ask to have more. Was a birthday but we decided to leave the restaurant without dessert.
We have made it a tradition to go to Fogo de Chao for family birthdays. I introduced my brother and his family to the experience and they were so happy! We also tried the Waygu this time and it was phenomenal!! Service was amazing as usual and we will definitely be back!
A great family meal for us every week!
It’s a great place to celebrate any occasion. Dinner service is great, very attentive. The servers have a lot personalities.
Very pleasant visit. Our server recommended a great wine and let us know we had a free dessert for us celebrating our anniversary
The food was great as always. The service was all over the place. They were not all on the same page and honestly believe one man in particular was high out of his mind. He asked us 7 times in 12 minutes if we needed anything, which made us feel like we were being pushed out.
Where do i start.. Hmmmmm. The manager needs to know how to count the correct change to give back the customer. The bartenders need to NOT rush making drinks just because it's busy it's called quality! There's more but I'll leave it at that.
