Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
The best of the Fogos in Las Vegas. I take my friends to this restaurant and the service is great, food is amazing and the ambiance is friendly. Located right off the strip, it's a great place to go if you like meat and want to fill up on protein. They have a great salad bar, but you don't go there for the salad.
I made a reservation at this restaurant to celebrate my wife's and son's birthdays and we had never been before. We had experience other Brazilian steakhouses in the past, so we had an idea of what to expect. When we arrived, we were greeted immediately and taken to our table. The waiter explained the process and off we went! The salad bar area was full of veggies, salads, cheeses and other goodies, but we were advised to save room for the plethora of meats to be served and we were certainly glad we did! As soon as the coaster was flipped to green, servers with meat appeared at the table to load our plates. The food was very tasty and the mashed potatoes, cheese rolls and banana/plantain sides served at the table were a great addition! We mentioned to one of the servers that we were celebrating a birthday and we received a molten lava cake and ice cream with well wishes for the table to celebrate - nice touch! The only part of the experience not as delightful was the bill - make sure to save up if you want to dine here, especially with a party of 5! We will definitely be back for another special occasion.
Be prepared to eat 10 pounds of meat. The meat was tasty and cooked perfectly. The polenta was very good. The salad bar was above average. It's a little noisy. I went with a lady friend. It think I would have liked it better for a group. It's noisy, tasty and fun.
We are visiting Vegas from Pennsylvania with Family, that flew over from the UK, to celebrate our sister in laws 50th Birthday. Fogo de Chao is one of our favorite restaurants that we go to for special occasions. With this in mind we took our visiting UK Family there to celebrate. Our experience this time was not at all what we have come to expect from the usually fabulous Fogo de Chao. The food was amazing as usual, however the service was severely lacking, The service we have come to expect and have raved about was totally absent from this particular location. I, personally was embarrassed to have suggested this as a wonderful place to celebrate my sister in laws special BD.
Unfortunately they do not have the staff and overbooked the Resturant with a convention in town. Had to wait or ask for meat service kitchen was out of capacity. Empty white tables around trying to fit groups in looked awful.
I have been going to Fogo's over 12 years around the US especially Atlanta which is run like a clock! Fogo is amazing but this one needs to be rescued with better management. Even the bar was dismal with service.
The meat as good as always but don't go here if you expect service.
We wanted to treat our friends to a unique dining experience (while in Las Vegas). Boy, were they in for a treat?! The Churrascaria (shish kobob) was fresh, juicy, perfectly grilled every time. Variety of meats kept on coming until we just could not eat another bite! Great wine list as well! BTW, the salad-bar is loaded with all kinds of unique surprises. Your guests will be impressed!
Over all the food was decent. Typical Brazilian bbq place similar to what you find in LA, SF, SD, and every major city. The staff was nice and would fine a certain cut of meat for you when you asked. Food was overall what I expected and the same as the Beverly Hills location.
What made me very mad, the wait staff lost my credit card when I went to pay the bill. I put my card in the folder and when the bill came back I had a different credit card and the correct bill. They werent sure what to do. Eventually they found my card at another table but had charged a bill that was $100 over my bill to my card. They reversed the transaction and charged me for my bill. The manager never offered a discount or drink of any sort and because this was flagged as fraud the bank locked up over $200 in transactions for the weekend which means i didnt have access to that money while in vegas. I have since let the bank flag my account for possible fraud to keep an eye on it.
