Outstanding food but very pricey!!! Go with a big appetite!
We got very sick after dining last week. The manager only wanted to see doctor's paperwork, had no remorse whatsoever. We had to change evening plans, stay cooped in the hotel room for a while, and were very late to a show we already had tickets for. Being from out of town we were very disappointed as we brought guests with us who also got sick. We have been to the one in Kansas City and have never had issues like this. Very disappointed and embarrassed!
I've been here multiple times, and every time it is an absolute animal House. It's unbelievably loud. You literally have to shout/yell near the bar and hostess booth. it's almost a free-for-all when it comes to who comes to the door...... whether you have a reservation or not. they're not equipped to have 30-65+ people (standing room only) with no room near the bar and hostess area. Our reservation went over 90 minutes beyond when we were supposed to be seated, and we showed up 15 minutes early, too. The staff is rushed, they often times run out of meat (second time this has happened, last year it was nearly 45 minutes before the gaucho's were walking around again), there isnt as many cuts on the floor available to choose from as other Fogo's and overall I won't be returning. I'll go to another Brazilian steakhouse the next time I'm in Vegas.
It was insanely busy, overbooked. Everyone had a reservation and it was wall to wall people waiting for tables. Our table wasn’t ready until 8:30, 45 minutes after our reservation. I asked when we arrived if it would be a long wait for our table and was told no, they were only a bit behind and a table for two would open quickly. 45 minutes is not a short wait. We were about to leave when our table came open. I’d have preferred honesty, because I had an early flight the next morning. Once seated, our server was great, but we were not impressed with most meat selections. The seasoning was poor and not what we’ve experienced at Fogo in the past. Overall, disappointing for the price which was sad because we’ve always had a great experience in the past.
Waited 40 minutes to get seated.
We had a 7:15 reservation and didnt get seated until 40 min later with constant reminding of the hostess
As always good....
Lines were crazy. Had a reservation and didn’t sit for 30 minutes. We were only offered 3 different meats. Been to another similar restaurant and it was incredible. This was a huge disappointment. $100/person should have been better.
Had to beg to get them to bring meats to the table. Long wait between meats when they finally showed up. Salad bar was disorganized and out of a lot of stuff. Usually Fogo is a sure thing - not this night.
Having been to a Fogo before I had a reasonable expectation for the experience. Great food, great service, and proper linen table professionalism. Unfortunately my experience at this location on this specific night fell below my par. When spending decent money people have an expectation that should match the cost of the experience. Fogo is priced in a bracket that should only receive 4 stars plus every time. My experience was a 3.5. The food was good but not great. Several rounds of meat were very rare even admittedly so by the waitstaff. Not sure if this is a strategy to try to decrease table times but it felt like it. Additionally, the constant product upsells were annoying and made the consumer feel as if they were being told they were cheap. This is sad especially when being pushed alcohol several times after we said we were planning on sticking to water. This wasn’t respected so we eventually caved to their pushy sales tactics. Several times meat didn’t come for 10 minutes at a time during the dining experience which caused further frustration. Another pushy sales tactic was the waiter stuffing a 20% tip in my face and asking me if it was ok. In all honesty her service didn’t earn it but the slimy sales tactic caused me to push her the 20% begrudgingly. What could have been a great experience became average and turned even worse in the parking lot when the valet very disrespectfully yelled at us from the window of an car to “move out of my way, I’ve got 11 cars to park!” More respect for clients, less pushy sales strategies, and meat in a more normal range of temperatures would have made the experience much better.
Our meal was outstanding!
We have been to many of their locations across the US & it was consistent. This weekend the meat rubs were slightly over salted & the place was quite noisy with many large groups. But that was expected & made it more fun watching everyone bustle around.
There was a waiter going around every table trying to introduce their variety of cocktails. Our table had ordered 5+ cocktails but that waiter went to every table but ours. I was a little disappointed that we were missed as I would have tried and ordered more. But he did not seem interested in my business. So we ordered no more.
Our main waiter was very good and checked in when needed.
Perfect & well paced.
Lots of choices in the salad bar section. The meat choices are constantly coming around. They had okay flavor this time but the last time they were excellent so I'm not sure what changed.
Very pricey so make sure everyone in your party is fully aware of this.
This was my first time there after a friend told me about it. What a great experience. The food was amazing and the staff were on point.
This is the fourth Fogo de Chao I’ve visited across a few cities and this one takes the cake in food quality. Everything seemed fresher and better prepared than any of the DC or Atlanta options, and the service was fantastic as usual.
It was great
Service was great even though they had 2 big parties!
Previous visits have been better. Our drinks were not refilled as frequently. Having did that, the Churascos were on point with their offerings which was on par with past visits. Our main server was slightly lacking. Overall considering the quality of meat and service; our experience was less satisfying than prior visits.
Todo buen el restaurant
The dinning itself was great. But when one of their guy offered to give us a lift from the restaurant back to the hotel, we didn’t ask for the price, thought it was complimentary. And this gentleman insisted us to pay him 100 dollar tip, which is a total ripe off for a shorter than 10 mins ride back to the hotel. We will never go there and would never recommend anyone does.
Food was great people very friendly will return next in town
Food was great as usual. However the service was shocking. We’ve dined here several times so we’re used to the servers being attentive. Not this trip. I had to flag someone down just to get water after my glass was empty over 10 minutes. Poor service made me lose my appetite. Not sure if I’d return to this location.
As always the salad bar was amazing, this is the 1st time I've ever been and they have been slow with getting the meat out to us.
I just don't feel like it was worth $60 each.
Always a pleasant experience and tonight did not disappoint. Thank you for the awesome service and delicious food.
Less buffet choices.
Didnt honor monthly special price.
Ended up paying regular price
This place never stops to amaze me. Every time we go back it keeps getting better and better. It really satisfies my meat cravings from pork to beef to chicken and sausage
LOVE Fogo. In fact, I believe it has gotten better. Salad bar is amazing. Service is very attentive. Just please get better sausage. Everything else is wonderful, and we will keep coming back.
Greta Fike, great service, expensive but worth it
I booked 17 people seats for business dinner. I don’t ask anything. Just reserved seats. But, restaurant prepared 3bottles of silver oaks magnum bottles on our table. We cannot reject them in front of customers. It is terrible trick. Never use again.
Exceptional service, friendly staff, awesome place!
I have eaten at a lot of Churrascarias both in the US and Brazil. The service was great and the food was good. They did not use the typical rock salt found in genuine churrascos but the meat was good. The price was inflated due to the convention that was happening at the time. I was disappointed in that and their lack of grilled pineapple unless you asked for it and no chicken hearts (granted that is not something many Americans eat)
I gave 3 stars because the quality did not merit the price. For what they charged they should have at least had filet on one of the spits.
Was a good experience with good food, we went there for my girlfriend’s birthday. I think there should be a more strict dress code but otherwise it was great.
Service was a bit slow and we had a problem with our drinks. Otherwise it was great.
the meat is not top quality,
trying to feed you chicken and bacon and no beef in the first half
even the beef come, either too dry, too cooked or too raw
Only 5 choices of meat! The service was slow
Very disappointed, at this price food and service should be better!
We loved our experience! We had two native Brazilians dining with us and they were extremely impressed! Over half of the servers even spoke Portuguese! We all felt that it was incredibly authentic and the food was very good quality. We will definitely recommend.
will come back again
A must go!
