We come here a lot because it’s my sons favorite place to eat. Over the years it gets harder and harder to flag down a gaucho to get meat. I wish they would have kept the filer wrapped in bacon
It was a quiet night in the restaurant but generally the service was slower than normal and less attentive then previous visits.
Outstanding service, food, wait staff was personable and welcoming. Perfect experience
Open table booked us at 1:45 Pm on Monday for a birthday lunch. They close the restaurant down around 2:30, and reopen at 5. We did not know this. So, we got hardly any food, and they were rushing us to leave.
Our server seated us and disappeared. Never saw him again. Had to find another server to get our bill.
What meats did we have, were completed over cooked, like petrified. It was a terrible experience.
Most steaks were great. Some were overcooked and too dry
Hard to find servers at times
Overall very nice experience
They didn't have to much of a selection of meats and kept brining us the same kind. I was very excited to try this place but was unimpressed.
Overall, a great experience. May I suggest that servers do more periodically check ins with guests. I had to flag down servers a couple times which I dislike because it comes across as being rude on my end.
The food here is outstanding as is the service. The only thing that surprised me was the price of a tiny bottle of Coke being $3.75 each. Really?? I've never seen Coke in such tiny bottles. My friend had several and it really ran up the price
The food was amazing and the service was great the only thing I’d say to people that don’t like noise is to go on a weekday.
We went for restaurant month. Wouldn’t do that again. Meats were chewy. Some meats were not even offered to us even though they were on restaurant month menu. Soup and salad bar were good. Our first server wasn’t very good never really checked on us much. Dessert and check came fast though.
This is the second time that I have been to this location. My first experience was a positive one but this time, not so much. The restaurant was packed so the noise level was very loud and made it hard to hear others at my table and the servers as they came around. My waiter greeted us warmly and reviewed how the service would work, and also introduced his helper for the evening. Unfortunately that is where the service stopped. We ordered and it took longer than normal for even water to arrive at the table...I had to grab another waiter and ask after my glass of wine that still had not arrived after 15 mins. We also asked for things like bread, 3 and 4 times and it just never showed up on the table...but we did get lemons and limes that we didn't even ask for? All of the servers seemed maxed out and had very large tables...so it seemed they were most concerned with the large groups as opposed to our group of 4. We waited quite some time for food...waited for drinks...waited for bread (which I ended up just going to get reg. bread from the salad bar after asking so many times)...waited for coffee and dessert...all told we were there for almost 3 hours and it wasn't our choosing to be there that long! I think it is VERY overpriced for the type of service that is delivered...the food is good, but not worth the aggravation...I'm sorry to say that we will not be returning.
I would most definitely recommend Fogo De Chao, The service is always amazing, on top of everything, Need something, They always exceed it. Food is always fresh, They refresh the middle sides, The environment is excellent, not so loud the lights aren't bright which I love, I can enjoy my meal and flip the card over when I'm ready for more, Every birthday, anniversary I'm always coming here! It's the best ever!!
The service was wonderful —the food was good.
The meats were average
The cost was exceptionally high for what we received
My first time here I truly enjoyed myself
Our son just returned from serving (USAF) 2 years overseas. We wanted to take him for a wonderful, relaxing dining experience. The staff was ON POINT. Food was amazing as always, but the staff. I believe our waiter's name's were Marc and Jose' .They truly embraced our reason for dining there. THANK YOU for wonderful, memorable dining experience. (Our airman is flying out to his next mission in 5 days - was only home for 10 days total)
My family and I enjoyed our first visit to Fogo de Chao to celebrate our son’s birthday. The food was amazing, the service was excellent. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable.
We have been telling all of our family and friends about our excellent dining experience.
Had to ask server several times to refill drinks. Husband had all 17 meat options and would have been nice to have something to drink in a timely manner.
I would recommend only because I was there before and had a better experience. This time I was not impressed with any of the, meat. It was,all very dry. Not good when you enjoy the salad bar more than the meat.
We came to the 5pm seating. It took no time at all fir the chicken selections to start coming around, but the meat seemed like it took forever. I was told that it was because we wanted medium well. The one server said that when you come to early seating you have a hard time getting medium well meat.
This seemed true since after being there for an hour the meat picked up for us. I have never had this problem.
I will go to Chima in future. It seems you get better service.
We were celebrating our anniversary, and it was our first experience at FdC. Amazing! Everyone was very kind and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The only thing that was negative about our dinner was that we paid for the full experience, and I honestly don’t think we had the chance to try each of the different meats. As we were checking out, we noticed a different selection being offered( btw it looked so good!) and were bummed that we didn’t get the chance to try it. That being said, we were just blown away by the quality and flavors of what we did have that we will definitely be returning! Oh...and don’t forget to leave room for dessert and coffee!!!
-On a side note... it is no joke when you flip the card to green!!! Our table was swarmed by servers wanting to have us try each of their offerings! Just don’t forget to flip it back to red!! Lol
We had a coupon and server misunderstood if we wanted to use it or not. When this came to light, he was very rude.
Great food, but a pricey night out for a family of 6
A terrible disappointment. We were rushed through the entire meal, Food was sprayed on us when they served. Only 3 types of meats were walked around, even though the menu lists many many more. Only one side of the table was served, never bringing food to the other side. Servers reached across the table to move dishes around and expected to be handed dishes to clear the table rather than walking to the other side. There are too many different wait staff for each table, each asking the same questions and taking the same orders making it impossible to have a conversation. We had this on our list of places to try and were terribly disappointed which, at more than $50 a person before drinks, coffee and dessert is honestly unacceptable. Never. Again.
It was good. Nothing major to highlight other than the food, which is really good.
Wait staff great. Offering of premium meats was not what I expected
It took several minutes to get served when our chips were turned green. We had to 3 different waitress’ and our waiter several times which was over 20 minutes for a “second serving” of the filet wrapped in bacon. Nebrasa is better in my opinion. I made this long trip to KOP to try this with my son as this was his first Brazilian Steakhouse experience. Not coming back for that price unfortunately.
Everything was perfect
Always have excellent service when I come here. I sat right away. Definitely try that wagyu steak that they have now. It’s delicious and gets brought out and served on a salt block which was really cool! The manager came by to check on us and was very friendly.
Had fruit flies all over the table and in our drinks
Fogo de Chao is a fun experience... especially if you love meat. We always have a favorite cut or two. Servers are accommodating to the desired temperature and will hunt down what you need... we have one 'well done' person in our group and they made sure she did not go hungry. The cheesy pop-overs are really good... I have to be careful not to full up on them. Definitely not somewhere I would go on a regular basis, but for once or twice a year, definitely!
Food was delicious, service was good!
We visited for a holiday dinner "make-up" for one of our employees since they were unable to attend our large party (which we also held at Fogo KOP in December). If I had to say, it was definitely an off night. The food servers missed our table for a majority of the meats being passed. Myself, I was only offered food by 3 of them (There was a total of 7 who offered the whole table, repeats of the Sausage, House Sirloin, Beef & Chicken with Bacon... that's it, no other types came by) and waited over an hour for the one meat I repeatedly requested (parm. pork). Our main server, David, was great and kept trying to get us served but for some reason it just wasn't happening. We'll of course give them another chance with fingers crossed that the flow was just off.
New home celebration! Worth the price!!!
A beautiful environment with fantastic food and service! The meats that they bring out are mouth watering and delicious!
First time in KOP location always go to Center City but wanted to stay away from city on NYE.
Had to ask multiple times for the side dishes and rolls. Ordered French fries for 6 yr old, took 30 mins. Never got clean plates, went up and got ourselves at salad bar. Long wait for 3 desserts.
I realize it was NYE, approx 730pm. Food was good just would of rather not have had to ask for items normally always brought over.
Loved the food ! Service was great.
Already booked our next visit !
New Years Eve dinner
I felt as though for our 3 year wedding anniversary the hostess could have placed us at a different table. We were sat right next to the entrance to the kitchen. I wasn't happy with how servers would talk right by the entrance, the noise inside the kitchen, and the multiple employees that would walk in and out. Overall, the free dessert was nice that they gave it to us for our anniversary. Our server was great, except I can't remember her name.
Came to celebrate the holidays with our parents. They loved the fresh salad bar and the perfectly cooked meats. We enjoy this restaurant and we highly recommend.
Excellent service. Soup was delicious and the salad bar was filled with delicious choices.
