My family and I enjoyed our first visit to Fogo de Chao to celebrate our son’s birthday. The food was amazing, the service was excellent. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable.
We have been telling all of our family and friends about our excellent dining experience.
Had to ask server several times to refill drinks. Husband had all 17 meat options and would have been nice to have something to drink in a timely manner.
I would recommend only because I was there before and had a better experience. This time I was not impressed with any of the, meat. It was,all very dry. Not good when you enjoy the salad bar more than the meat.
We came to the 5pm seating. It took no time at all fir the chicken selections to start coming around, but the meat seemed like it took forever. I was told that it was because we wanted medium well. The one server said that when you come to early seating you have a hard time getting medium well meat.
This seemed true since after being there for an hour the meat picked up for us. I have never had this problem.
I will go to Chima in future. It seems you get better service.
We were celebrating our anniversary, and it was our first experience at FdC. Amazing! Everyone was very kind and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The only thing that was negative about our dinner was that we paid for the full experience, and I honestly don’t think we had the chance to try each of the different meats. As we were checking out, we noticed a different selection being offered( btw it looked so good!) and were bummed that we didn’t get the chance to try it. That being said, we were just blown away by the quality and flavors of what we did have that we will definitely be returning! Oh...and don’t forget to leave room for dessert and coffee!!!
-On a side note... it is no joke when you flip the card to green!!! Our table was swarmed by servers wanting to have us try each of their offerings! Just don’t forget to flip it back to red!! Lol
We had a coupon and server misunderstood if we wanted to use it or not. When this came to light, he was very rude.
Great food, but a pricey night out for a family of 6
A terrible disappointment. We were rushed through the entire meal, Food was sprayed on us when they served. Only 3 types of meats were walked around, even though the menu lists many many more. Only one side of the table was served, never bringing food to the other side. Servers reached across the table to move dishes around and expected to be handed dishes to clear the table rather than walking to the other side. There are too many different wait staff for each table, each asking the same questions and taking the same orders making it impossible to have a conversation. We had this on our list of places to try and were terribly disappointed which, at more than $50 a person before drinks, coffee and dessert is honestly unacceptable. Never. Again.
It was good. Nothing major to highlight other than the food, which is really good.
Wait staff great. Offering of premium meats was not what I expected
It took several minutes to get served when our chips were turned green. We had to 3 different waitress’ and our waiter several times which was over 20 minutes for a “second serving” of the filet wrapped in bacon. Nebrasa is better in my opinion. I made this long trip to KOP to try this with my son as this was his first Brazilian Steakhouse experience. Not coming back for that price unfortunately.
Everything was perfect
Always have excellent service when I come here. I sat right away. Definitely try that wagyu steak that they have now. It’s delicious and gets brought out and served on a salt block which was really cool! The manager came by to check on us and was very friendly.
Had fruit flies all over the table and in our drinks
Fogo de Chao is a fun experience... especially if you love meat. We always have a favorite cut or two. Servers are accommodating to the desired temperature and will hunt down what you need... we have one 'well done' person in our group and they made sure she did not go hungry. The cheesy pop-overs are really good... I have to be careful not to full up on them. Definitely not somewhere I would go on a regular basis, but for once or twice a year, definitely!
Food was delicious, service was good!
We visited for a holiday dinner "make-up" for one of our employees since they were unable to attend our large party (which we also held at Fogo KOP in December). If I had to say, it was definitely an off night. The food servers missed our table for a majority of the meats being passed. Myself, I was only offered food by 3 of them (There was a total of 7 who offered the whole table, repeats of the Sausage, House Sirloin, Beef & Chicken with Bacon... that's it, no other types came by) and waited over an hour for the one meat I repeatedly requested (parm. pork). Our main server, David, was great and kept trying to get us served but for some reason it just wasn't happening. We'll of course give them another chance with fingers crossed that the flow was just off.
New home celebration! Worth the price!!!
A beautiful environment with fantastic food and service! The meats that they bring out are mouth watering and delicious!
First time in KOP location always go to Center City but wanted to stay away from city on NYE.
Had to ask multiple times for the side dishes and rolls. Ordered French fries for 6 yr old, took 30 mins. Never got clean plates, went up and got ourselves at salad bar. Long wait for 3 desserts.
I realize it was NYE, approx 730pm. Food was good just would of rather not have had to ask for items normally always brought over.
Loved the food ! Service was great.
Already booked our next visit !
New Years Eve dinner
I felt as though for our 3 year wedding anniversary the hostess could have placed us at a different table. We were sat right next to the entrance to the kitchen. I wasn't happy with how servers would talk right by the entrance, the noise inside the kitchen, and the multiple employees that would walk in and out. Overall, the free dessert was nice that they gave it to us for our anniversary. Our server was great, except I can't remember her name.
Came to celebrate the holidays with our parents. They loved the fresh salad bar and the perfectly cooked meats. We enjoy this restaurant and we highly recommend.
Excellent service. Soup was delicious and the salad bar was filled with delicious choices.
Great time.. wonderful service.. excellent food
Everything was great! We did the the $55 plan where we got the salad bar, apps, and all the meat we could eat. All the steaks were perfectly seasoned. I think we tried almost everything. Only thing we didn't like was the chicken (too dry). All the beef, lamb, and pork were perfectly cooked though. The steaks tasted better than most other high end restaurants i've been to. Also had a strawberry cocktail which was great. Desserts were amazing! The creme brulee was perfectly seared. When i put my spoon down into it, it made the perfect crunch. The trea leches was also perfect. Definitely will come here again.
Took my boyfriend here for his birthday. They gave him a dessert of his choice. All the food was delicious. Staff was very friendly.
Family night out. Love the taste of this and that. Not too much of one thing just enough to taste a little of everything. Had a very good dinner.
Went for husbands birthday. Meat service was too quick. Hadn’t had an opportunity to eat from salad bar before we have 4 guys asking us for cuts of meat. This is the second time we went to this restaurant with one order from the three meals that are not part of the meat service and didn’t get the meal for 60 minutes with 4 visits from waitress and manager apologizing for the delay. If you can’t handle meals that are separate from meat service don’t offer it.
Food was great! Service was amazing. Only gripe was the lack of lamb. Multiple meat came around and lamb was limited.
Great food, great service and great managers.
The service was terrible. The waitress ignored us for over 35 minutes. This is unacceptable for the prices they charge.
Birthday dinner with family. The meat servers did not speak clearly and we had a lot of difficulty understanding what they were saying. It would be a good idea to have written names of the meat on each platter to identify them. Also sometimes too many came at once or there was too long a lag. Better to spread out the service more evenly. Otherwise a delicious, lovely dinner. Great place!
Consistently top notch food and service. Our family’s favorite restaurant!
Excellent Christmas dinner! Can't say enough about it
Awesome!! The food was delicious!! The service was superb! Everyone was friendly and timely!! This is the best by far!!!
Christmas Eve dinner.
This was our first time at a Brazilian steak house and it was a fun experience. We did sit for awhile while waiters went to other tables that had sat after us. We were waiting to have the process explained to us while it seemed like a lot of people were repeat customers. The salad buffet was good fresh with lots of choices. We all got the same thing which was the meat that came around. We had to ask 3-6 times for filet and it came twice after asking multiple times so that is a little misleading. They come with the other things repeatedly like lamb and chicken and sirloin. The top sirloin and house sirloin were good I don’t eat lamb or chicken. For the price I really wanted filet. One time I got the bacon wrapped sirloin I asked for medium and it was way past well done. The sides they put on the table were enough for maybe 1 or 2 people and we had 5. They replaced once but that definitely could have been more generous. The Brazilian rolls were very good. When the filet came it was good. I feel like they want you to fill up on everything else so you don’t eat much of the expensive cut but at $53 a plate there should definitely be more filet available. People at my table said the other meats were good but there is no grilled chicken lamb or sirloin that is worth $53 a meal in my opinion.
