BDay celebration. Was given awesome dessert with a BDay message. Great service, made another reservation for Easter on our way out the door!
Restaurant was very loud and crowded. Tables were packed in tight. Service was sketchy at best. Didn't get offered all the meats. Meats were good/tasty that we did have. Salad bar was adequate. I never received a refill on my drink. Took forever to get our check and I finally had to wave someone down to get it taken care of. Our waiter was busy and just never came back until after someone else had taken our check. For the price, was not worth it.
This is the 3rd time we have been to this Fogo de Chão and as always the service is amazing, the food is wonderful, and the Brazilian Lime-aid is Heaven in a glass. This is truly one of the greatest restaurants in Kansas City!

This is absolutely the best restaurant to go to we always take our daughters there for their birthday great service great company great food.
The food and service was amazing. Every thing we tried was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. The dining area is a bit congested and valet parking took awhile for the drop off and pick up.
Fogo is our special occasion restaurant of choice. This time it was my brothers birthday. I am sorry to say this experience wasn’t as good as usual. The rolls didn’t melt in my mouth and I had to ask for more side dishes to be brought to the table. Usually, Fogo blows me away with the food and service.

The salad bar was very tasty. The meat came around pretty frequently but didn't have enough flavor. None of the people in our party of 10 were liking it. Our service also had its struggles.
We love the food there! The waiters are very nice and friendly! The only downsize is that I eat too much!!!
This was my first time eating here, the food was beyond excellent. The wait staff was courteous, friendly and always there when needed. I had the full experience, based on the reccomendation of our address. This was just great, I was able to taste all of the meat on the menu. This was a very good experience for my first time going there. I will definitely go back.
First half of the meal was great, then the service went downhill. I never got offered another drink. I waited 30 minutes for a server to come by and offer me a drink or dessert, never happened. We asked 3 times for more pork chops they never came. When it came time to pay our bill it took 20 minutes. Over all the food is amazing and you get plenty of it. I didn't get offered everything that I should of been offered (beef ribs). It was very busy glad I had reservations.
Computer was down so they lost our reservation. We were seated in about 20 minutes. Took 40 minutes to get our drinks at the table had to ask threee times. Our waitress disappeared after taking our drink order never saw her again. Not many gauchos serving meat waited a long time with button on green had to stop servers and ask them to get people to come to our table. It was one of my favorites but no longer
Service, food, and drinks were all wonderful!! This restaurant is extremely unique and definitely worth trying. The tables are pretty close to each other though, so don't expect to have a very private date night. Would recommend for any special occasion!
It appears they had brought out many extra tables and all the tables were far too close together. We could easily hear every conversation around us. Beyond that, they were not consistently bringing out meat and the selection was much less than normal. We were offered 8 different cuts of meat through our meal, which is far less than advertised.
The people at fogo made my Valentine’s Day special! They always made sure that meats were fresh and out frequently. I even tried keeping up with the meats as they brought it out but couldn’t lol. I would recommend anyone that loves steaks and meats like I do, to give these guys a visit.
My husband went to the restroom and saw a cook walk out without washing his hands, when my husband talked to a manager they told him "can't do anything about it, we have signs it's up to them to wash their hands not mine" so that seriously makes me never want to eat there again. Food has always been good and great service but now I'm worried I've had food with nasty hands touching it.
Very, very good. Don't be tempted by the Market Table. Fill up on meat and Cheese Bread. And then stuff the cheese bread in your pockets. And your purse. And coat pockets. That stuff is delicious.

It was really just okay for us. We didn't have one dedicated server, which became very confusing. Also, we weren't too crazy about the sides offered at the bar area. The cuts of meats that were offered were very few, compared to what was offered around after our meal, which we were disappointed about. We figured it probably had to do with having lunch there too early?
Every time I have eaten dinner at Fogo it has been absolutely fantastic. This occasion was for a girlfriends birthday, where most times I am with my husband. Management always comes by to check on my dining experience to ensure satisfaction and the wait staff is also perfection! I have and will continue to dine at Fogo and would recommend to anyone.

Valentines date together we are from out of town and drove in for the event. It was great food, and wonderful service. He evening was a little louder than we expected and this was our first time at the Kansas City Fogo De Chau. We were expecting a little more spaced out for the table seating and a more planned way of serving the meats. We received all the red meat and had to request a few times to get Chicken at our table. Food was delicious for sure. My favorite I finally was able to get my hands on was the Chicken Legs and of course the Brazilian Lemonade💕. Hugely recommend this place. Thank you we will be back again.

Everything was delicious. If one of the gentlemen came by with something that didn't peak your appetite, they would ask what you might enjoy more and shortly thereafter it showed up at the table.
We were there to celebrate our birthdays. The service was fantastic! I can’t say enough about how wonderful the food was. Outstanding experience.
There was a family of 5 (3 kids 2 parents) sitting one table away. Each of the kids had iPads without headphones. We could hear the, very clearly, the movie the kid closest to us was watching. Not one time did the parents engage with their children but to flip their coast from red to green. We were disappointed a restaurant of this caliber allows the use of iPads without earphones. More disappointed in the parents that gave their kids iPads to keep them occupied instead of talking to them.
Pricing did not match website pricing. No real value her for families
Service and food were fantastic. Our Server, Joey, was funny and knowledgeable. It is pricey but worth it.
We had an excellent experience. We were both extremely full after, and the food was fantastic! The servers would constantly ask if there was anything specific we wanted, and if so, they’d send over the cuts of meat. The salad bar was exceptional, lots of great cheese selections, lighter salads, fruits and veggies. The rolls were so great as well. Will absolutely return...once we become hungry again..
My wife takes me to Fogo for my birthday every year. The only complaint I have each year is that I want to eat more, but I get too full.
Average experience. Not really worth the extra money and drive from Overland Park. There was food (large chunks) on the floor in front of our table, we were in the very back room in a corner and felt like meat service wasn’t very often (we only tried about 4 diff things). Food was good, but honestly not better than the location of another Brazilian place in OP. Probably won’t return. Nothing more special than our local Brazilian.
Very poor service and dining experience especially considering the cost. Will not return to this location. We have ate at other Fogo locations in different cities. The Kansas City location was a real let down and needs help to get back to corporate standards.
We were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away when we arrived, even though we had gotten our reservation time wrong and arrived almost an hour early. Food was excellent - although I would have liked the grilled vegetables more if they were not chilled. Service was great and the atmosphere was lively and cozy.
Waited over half hour before we got served any meat and then it was soo dry and bland, salad bar was so underwhelming. Then served one small plate of potatoes for a table of four that took a long time to come out as well! Went on rw which was probably the reason it was so backed up, but awful for what u pay for, I would recommend going to Em Chamas instead for better quality, ambiance, and service!
We didn't get seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time. When I tried to inquire about how much longer just to have an idea, the hostess was very rude said she couldn't tell me a time and just to wait. I kept trying to ask if it was going to be 5, 10, 15, 60 minutes wait just to know and she just kept giving me the same answer. It took me over five minutes of inquiring to finally learn that we were the next on the list, which is all I wanted to know. After that within five minutes, we were seated. She was very unfriendly and I am not a rude person as I have worked in the business and I know it can be chaotic at times and you get further with honey than vinegar! About a year ago, I went to the restaurant to buy 2 $100.00 gift cards and had to deal with the same hostess and she was just as rude. She certainly shouldn't be the face of the restaurant if she does not like to answer questions. The dining experience was simply awful. We were at our table from around 8:30 to 11:00 pm and we only had four gauchos approached us with meats the entire duration. Even though everyone in our table kept the tokens facing on the green side the entire time, so basically we paid to sample four different types of meat when the server told us we would have 12 different cuts of meats. The meats that we did get to try, were either way too salty or lacked flavor. All we got to try was top sirloin which was very salty, chicken breast which was hard and dry and I couldn't even chew, lamb meat which was ok and some mini chicken drumsticks which lacked flavor. The drinks were nothing special either. I understand it was restaurant week and it was busy but that doesn't mean we should be robbed of the amount of food and service we get. I was quite embarrassed to have suggested this restaurant to my group of friends. I certainly will not be going back.
Food and service were good. Salad bar was not as good as it has been in previous visits. Not sure if the restaurant skimped out because it was during Restaurant Week? Just wasn't as good as we all remembered. Meat selections were tasty and plentiful. Very attentive Gauchos. Wait staff was attentive but seemed stretched a little thin for the crowded restaurant.
Food was great as always but so busy they didn’t have anough meat servers. Never seen that before .
Service was horrible for entire time. They did not honor our reservation time. They actually say people who did not have a reservation before they set my party. Once we did get seated, our server only checked on us once. The meat selections didn’t not come to our table often, even after requesting certain meats. Waitress dropped a plate on the customer behind us head so that was distracting for 30 minutes. The way the management handled the accident was less than acceptable. I overheard the conversations and was not pleased with how the handled the injured customer. I have been a long term customer for May years and have eaten there at least once a month. I will not be going back!!!!
