I love the food and that is why I keep coming back but I think the service could improve. Almost every time I come I have to ask for another drink and it takes a long time to come. This last time, our side dishes (mashed potatoes and bananas) came when we were almost done.
I also would recommend they improve their feijoada. As a Brazilian, I know it can be much better than what they are currently serving - the liquid part needs to be ticker and more variety of smoked meats inside which will give it more flavor.
Always an absolute pleasure to dine at Fogo !!!
We took friends who had never been there. They loved the salad bar. Food was amazing. They enjoyed all the different meats that were brought out. Good experience.
It was my friends 30th birthday and this was his first time going to Fogo De Chao. He was so happy with all the meats and the quality in which it was presented and how it tasted. It was a great evening for dinner!
Pricey meal but quality of food, service, and amount of food made this an unique and memorable dining experience. Definitely worth a repeat, but just take your appetite!
Best wait staff team in Indy. Great food and always impresses out of town guests we take there.
This restaurant has a classy feel and the Gaucho’s add to the experience but the wait staff leave a lot to be desired. You think you’re headed to a nice steakhouse but you leave feeling like you’ve been to more of an upscale buffet.
Amazing! The service is great, food is wonderful. Cocktails are delish! Our favorite restaurant
Not only would I recommend it to a friend, I did so while I was still there. I kept going between 4 and 5 stars on value. I thought it was a bit expensive for how much I ate. However, I enjoyed all of it. I didn't understand the food is delivered by whomever happens to be walking by with meat. I did make a request for a specific cut and it was delicious when it was delivered. Now that I understand how it works I WILL return again.
The staff was not very attentive to my sister and I. They were very attentive to the tables around us however. We had to ask several times for fresh plates and I order a sprite and it hadn’t come after about 25 minutes I had to ask for it again. When I asked for a straw I was told that I could have one but had to wait for the lady with the straws to come by the table. Again, waited a while and asked again. A few moments later someone emerged with an open straw(no paper or napkin covering it) in their hand. I’ve dined at Fogo several times over the past years and never haven’t experienced this level of poor service in a long time.
It was great!
We enjoyed our dinner here so much! The staff was absolutely amazing and the food was beyond delicious.
Food was great service was better.
Was given our menus by one server, our drinks ordered by another server, and then no one came back with drinks or to take our order. We started serving ourselves. We were told multiple times that "everyone is our server" but then told by 3 different servers that "they weren't officially our server...our server was someone else that hadn't even come over. We love the food but the service has been like this the past 2 times we have come to this restaurant. We only come for special occasions so this really ruined it for me. If I'm paying $150 for our food and drinks the service should be better up to par. We will be taking our money and special occasion celebrations elsewhere.
My husband and I were pretty excited to try Fogo as we’ve heard good things about it from others. The service was excellent however it was super busy and loud. The meats were good but not seasoned as much as I would like. Overall it was a good experience but given the price I wouldn’t go again.
Service was outstanding, food was amazing, there was a lot of very loud people in the dining area. Overall good experience
Destiny, our server, was fantastic . However, the quality of the meat was less than what we expected. I spent $200 for this meal and was quite disappointed.
The food was delicious, however the time it took for our deserts to be boxed and get the check was a 22 minute wait for a party of only 3.
Thank you for your time
It was my sons birthday. The food we excellent as usual. The service was off, usually there is so many people around it is a little too much. This time there were big gaps in someone checking on your table.
I've been to a few Brazilian steakhouses and Fogo does it best so far. They are the first to get the leg of lamb right and wow did they ever nail it. It's perfect. The seasoning was ideal, there's an excellent crust/sear, and the perfect cook temp. The beef offerings were all out of this world good and a medium rare piece was always available every time they came around...YUM.
The market table was great. We found some great cheeses and salads to accompany the meats. Also, the cheesy bread puffs (Pao de Queijo) , polenta sticks, and bananas were fantastic too. Everyone goes in with the plan of only stuffing their face with meats, but all the sides are so good it's impossible to resist.
If forced to find something small to whine about it'd be the parm crusted pork. It tasted great, but was a bit dry. In their defence, it's hard to keep pork from drying out without undercooking it.
Overall, I wish I could trade our local Brazilian steak house for a Fogo de Chao.
Not sure if we caught it on an off day, but service was slow and when we asked for steak that was medium it was never available. I didnt eat more than $25.00 worth of food, but spent $53.00. They beat thing about lunch was dessert, amazing cheesecake.
Absolutely perfect. I love everything from valet to the waiters. I would dine in everyday if I had the money!
Seemed like staff wasn’t ready to open and food was not what is usually is. Service was amazing!!!! Filet was crunchy on entire side and hard to chew and that’s not how we remembered filet to be. The wait time for filet exceeded expectations.
My husband Birthday
Overall this was a good experience. I did feel as if the wait staff were not as attentive to our table. There was another table of men who looked to be recording for a show and the wait staff appeared to be huddled around their table. That would've been fine as long as my service was not neglected in favor of that table. I did not feel that way. As well, it took quite a few minutes (15-20) before any meat other than pork/chicken was brought out. I understand this could be due to cooking times, it is just an observation. I would return, but maybe for a lunch portion to bypass the hefty price tag.
Fogo is a place we can go that satisfies everyone. The service is always exceptional
Was a great experience! Great service!
Celebrated my husbands birthday, he was completely surprised, everyone was so attentive to us.
It was amazing service and food
My boyfriend went for brunch on a Saturday @ 11:30 am. It wasn't crowded at all, and felt like that was an IDEAL time to go. If you can skip the dessert bar, (some items for bruch; but not really needed with all the other food), we recommend going at this time. Very enjoyable and quiet.
Always enjoy our Fogo experience !!!!
Very attentive staff making you feel welcome and pampered !!!!
In town for the weekend, first time here. Food was pretty good but Andy, our server, was amazing!
Food and service were great. Place is a little noisy, but not so much that you can't speak in a normal voice. Would definitely recommend.
even though I'm a huge vegee eater, I loved the chicken salad.
Sorry to say, I did not eat any red meat, but it did look delicious
Did they have lamb chops ?
Always love Fogo de Chao and the American version of a Brazilian steak house in Indy
Awesome service and food!
The restaurant was extremely loud - we could hardly hear each other talking from across the table. The food was sub-par - although the price wasn't unreasonable. The service was not up to par, either. All in all, this restaurant does not live up to its' reputation.
Service was great, we made reservations and I felt we was seated in a timely manner. The waitress did a good job at explaining what to expect (this was my first time). The meats came out hot and fresh. The only complaint is, the higher grade meats wasn't available for everyone. For instance, the beef short ribs and ribeye, even after making several requests for beef short ribs I still was never served them.
Love the Brazilian churrasqueria! Great selection of meats and drinks!
Wonderful meal, atmosphere and service.
