We loved the food, everything was hot and perfectly cooked, the only thing that was a bummer was our supposed waiter, he presented himself as Jose and said he will be taking care of us tonight and if we needed anything to let him know, very polite at first. At one point my mom asked him for a spoon which he never brought he never once visited our table during the two hours we were there until we were ready for the check. We noticed we weren’t the only table that was being disregarded. It seems like all the side tables are frequently ignored as multiple times we found ourselves and those next us trying to get someone’s attention. I understand it was a busy Saturday night but a waiter should still check in on his tables every so often. I still tipped him but man I wish I hadn’t
We made a reservation based on an email advertising FOGO Restaurant Month $39 per person dinner.
Upon arrival there was a sign at the Reception desk stating Dinner $55.95. I inquired and was told that it was for "limited selection and did not include lamb, pork, filet or prime beef". I showed the employee my email and she replied, "You should have read the fine print on page two". We had guests with us and asked to be seated for the "normal price" dinner. I thought bait and switch tactics went out with Sears Roebuck, but apparently not.
The food was excellent, had a great time trying several options. The salad selection was wonderful!

We have been to Fogo many times and the quality of the meat is not as it used to be. They don’t have the same meat cuts as they used to.
Other than that the salad is good and the customer service is excellent as usual.
Everything was ok, just ok. Value was abysmal.
Salad bar is severely lacking, but it’s serviceable. Everything taste good to great there, seemed clean. But for $60/person I expect much much more.
Service is ok, there would be times where there is not a single meat man is on the floor, and when they would be they would ignore us.

My family and I go to Texas de Brasil often and the difference is stark, for the same price they over deliver in value 3 fold. Ambiance, service, salad bar, food quality, etc.
Won’t be back, don’t get me wrong it was not bad, but definitively not $60/person worth ($10 for kids lemonade). Save yourself some grief and go to Texas de Brasil for the same price.

The quality of the meat at Fogo isn’t quite as good as any of the other Brazilian steakhouses in Houston. The service was definitely top notch, but food quality was lacking.
It was my 30th birthday and family took me to dinner to celebrate. The restaurant was short staffed it seems and the waiters with the food overlooked my table, while serving others around us. My wife went and told the front desk in the front of the restaurant about the poor service. Food was burned when they did finally make it to my table. Also due to lack of service to my table, we all ate late which made me late for my next function
All meat was delicious. The sides could be better but I can’t complain. Great service.
The beef was terrible this night. I have never had a bad experience at Fogo but this was my birthday dinner and we couldn’t chew nor cut most of the beef. We go for the beef. Very disappointed.

The food is always good and so is the service.
We are regulars and fogo and this was a rare bad occasion. Usually they are 1000% with everything but yesterday I don’t know if it was because we went at 5 PM but all the meat took forever to come out and when it did come out it seemed like we are getting reheated stuff from the day before I guess it’s just my opinion that if they’re going to open at five they should be ready to serve at five it seems to me that after six things started to get better on the food front but given the fact that we know this restaurant well I was very disappointed in the food yesterday.
Market table for lunch is the best value in town. It is filling and tastes good.
Very disappointed. The server was barely civil. Answering questions was really putting him out. Although many different meats were advertised 90% of what was offered was very tough house sirloin. No other cuts of beef ever appeared and we only saw one chicken and one pork selection. Not what was show on the menu. The service, once seated was almost non-existent and we had to hand wave for anyone to ever come to the table to order drinks or extra entrees. Our friends ordered fish and it was like they asked for a miracle to be performed. Dessert was a la carte which for a Brazilian Steakhouse was very disappointing. For what we actually got, the value was terrible. We will never go back.

My family and I enjoyed the food, hospitality, and ambiance! The food selection was wonderful for both meat and veggie lovers! It was my first time at a Brazilian restaurant, and they did not disappoint. We will come back to this location soon, as it was a great experience overall!

Very unhappy. I’ve been to at least 20 locations nationwide and this was the worst. It took forever to get meat. We had to keep asking as people would only come around once every 15-20 minutes. I respect its Xmas eve and your busy but if you are going to be open you need to have enough workers to have the same experience as other times.
Salad bar doesn’t have enough choices of food.. need to add more warm plates.. for the price I don’t think it’s wasn’t great.

We went to this restuarant to celebrate our anniversary but the experience was a disappointment. We regularly go to another restaurant for our brazilian fix but since it was a special occasion and its been a while since we went to this restaurant (we had a good experience in the past), we decided to go to fogo. I made a reservation online and put a note that our party was composed of 2 adults, a boy and a newborn. The table provided to us was near the hall and one of the most high traffic areas. I asked for a different seat but the host insisted it was the only available table, they are having a lot of guests due to holiday season. I reiterated that we have a newborn and not safe for the baby but she insisted. I saw that the other the other side of the restaurant was almost empty (subsequently offered to other guests after we were seated, our side of the restaurant was full). I almost walked out of the restaurant but stayed due to my husband's request. Salad bar was okay, we liked the smoked salmon and charcuterie. Our sides were served late. Most of the meats were chewy, choices were limited and lacked flavor compared to the other restaurant we normally go to. We had to ask for change of plate (servers not proactive). I don't remember if my water got refilled. Maybe not. Overall, we did not like the experience. We may not come back to this restuarant again. Not recommended. They seem to focus on quantity of guests rather than the quality of food and service. By the way, another guest bumped my baby's stroller, good thing I was carrying the baby that time and not on it. That's how unsafe the area of the table provided to us.
