Don't fill up on the salad bar. Always packed and tight seating arrangement. This place can be noisy. Those are only the bad things you can say about this place because this place is amazing. Great staff and prompt waiters and servers. And the food is also fantastic. Can't wait to go back.

Even though it was Valentines’s Day and they were booked solid, our experience was fantastic. We had a 6:30 reservation and were sat on time. We had attentive staff, never without a full glass of water. The food. As expected was fantastic and if there was something specific that hadn’t been through your wait staff made sure it came to the table. Always a good place for a date or special occasion. It was also nice they were doing a promotion that night with the purchase of a dinner you got a gift certificate for another dinner with purchase. Will be back!

It's was my girlfriend and my first time there. All of the meats were quality, and I enjoyed the Pineapple Mint Lemonade. Considering the price, I'd think that we would be able to take home doggie bags, but it makes sense not to open Pandora's Box. I'll be returning there in the future! 😊
I love coming here, especially at lunch where you get the same great food at a lower price with less of a crowd. Highly recommend

This is a great new spot for my husband and I. We love the ambiance and the food is one of a kind.
Food quality has dropped since I was last here, about a year ago. Meat was either very undercooked or too well done. Had 4 separate people, from servers to managers, ask if we wanted appetizers, and were insistent even after being told no multiple times. Felt like I was being upsold on everything when the meal itself is already $60 per person.
Always great. Service at Fogo is always top notch and you cannot beat the salad bar.

All the servers were great, pleasant personalities and if we requested something they made sure we got it! Overall a great place to pig out! ;-) I come there at least three to four times a year.
Tonight’s experience at Fogo was far from what I am used to at this establishment. I had nearly every cut of meat and several of them more than once and all were either bland or chewy and, most consistently, both. The two pieces of filet I had were the best two I had all evening but even those were unremarkable. The mashed potatoes were cold, both servings. In my experience at this and other fine churrascarias, I usually have to turn my card red often because the service is so prompt. But tonight, I found myself waiting repeatedly with nothing on my plate. Several of the gauchos with certain cuts of meat consistently skipped out table. The only way we were ever served several of our preferred cuts of meat was when our waiter or other server took notice and asked if we were waiting for something specific. I realize on a good night at Fogo, this may happen once or twice throughout the meal, but this was the norm all evening on this visit. This is not my first time at Fogo and I was anticipating a great dinner there tonight but I left extremely disappointed. I even had a coupon I used this evening and I can’t say the meal was worth the money even after the discount. I am not inclined to return to Fogo in the future after this experience.

We were there to celebrate a birthday. My first time back to Fogo in over 10 years because we had moved out of town and have now returned to live in Houston. We were delighted to find the same high quality restaurant that we fondly remember. The abundant salad bar and the deliciously roasted meats are what draws us back. Expertly grilled, efficiently served.
The wait staff was attentive, responsive, courteous.
Wine list has plenty to choose from without be exhaustive. Wine prices are typical of quality restaurants in Houston.
Not as good as it was in the past. Waitstaff was great, but the food quality has diminished over the years.
This is not the same restaurant as it was a every other time... every thing just seemed to be lacking that final touch. No one working here looked to enjoy their jobs at all, normally you can joke with the staff but this time everyone was on edge and stiff, and this showed through every thing. The bottom sirloin should just be removed from the menu, tasted ok but the beef quality was very poor, just chewy and stringy. The salad bar was missing many ingredients, like peppered bacon and only point this out because it is listed on their menu, cheese needs to be carved. Side dishes were an afterthought and cheese biscuits were just missing. There were good parts, drink was updated after first and asking for more spice... and ribeye was very good best meat of the night. But those items do not add up to the old Fogo :(
Overall the experience was a good one. The service was surprisingly not the best. While there were many attendants circulating, it was most difficult to find our waiter. We saw him so few times, that we were not sure what he even looked like. Kinda disappointed about that but the food was great, as expected.

Great place I always enjoy. Only complaint was bug in my drink but the waiter took it back and no further problem.
1) Driving on Westheimer not the easiest street to drive on in the first place.
2) I live in San Antonio,traveled to Houston to attend Rocket game and wanted a
different atmosphere to celebrate my wife birthday and things just didn't work out
like i plan.
3) I have high expectations from Fogo de chao since i eat at the San Antonio location.
4) the salad was excellent!!!

Excellent. Food was fresh and cooked well. Drinks were excellent. Fantastic gathering with family from out of town, did not disappoint. The salad bar hot peppers were magnificent. I am spoiled for life eating steak with hot peppers. Can’t wait til next time.
Chris was our waiter and he is LIGHTS out! Very attentive and took care of us before we even asked!
Some of the meats were a little more charred than usual and the Parmesan pork was different. Slight changes made the experience less than what it used to be.
For the price tag the value was not all that great. Out of the many I have ate at, this will not be one I return to
We’ve been to Fogo many of times & always have such a great experience except for tonight! Our service was awful we had no waiter & literally had to wait 20-30 mins just for the check (i could have literally walked out & nobody would have noticed) i asked to speak with the manager & i told him of my frustration & he didn’t say anything, not even a remorse about it. It will definitely be along time til i go back!!
This placed has changed over the last year or so. It used to be my top choice of Brazilian steakhouses and now after this visit has dropped to the worst ever. I will never come back, a complete waste of money. The previous owners set the bar Avery high and now the people running this restaurant can’t duplicate what was there before.

I have been to this restaurant so many times that I got bored with it and had not visited in over a year. Never an empty glass or plate, I always considered this restaurant as the gold standard. An attentive and cordial waitstaff really exemplified what a Brazilian Steak House should be. With all the build up I am sure by now you know it is time for this review to take a twist.
I observed the greeter at check-in act rudely with not only myself and my guests, but with many customers. Without getting into details and having to relive frustrations, I can say it was for no apparent reason. No one was arguing; no one was complaining. Some people are just not socially adept at dealing with patrons.
Though the Manager was much more pleasant, I have to hold him accountable for who he trusts to serve his guests. Rude staff both represents Management as well as the Brand. And the truth is, once a visit sours, you guests will become more sensitive to other slips or slights in service. If I was not treated poorly simply for walking into the restaurant, perhaps I wouldn't have noticed all the other issues below.
I don't know enough about restaurants, so take this paragraph with a grain of salt. The restaurant was half empty. A whole Half of the Restaurant appeared to be closed. Why would you want several parties waiting to be seated? I don't know if that is by design, or just a way to save on having to do more work.
On this trip servers were hard to come by, and the selection of meat was limited to only the more economical cuts of meat. After requesting several times, we were finally provided with more choice cuts. We noticed that those cuts only came to our table. I am guessing that if you do not ask, you will not get Filet Mignon.
The table staff, as usual, were still top shelf. Either Management, or Ownership has changed directives. I don't know how most people will respond, but its tough for me to spend hundreds only to be underserved in rude fashion.
Food was good as usual, although some of the more desired meat was hard to catch. Service is good, ambien is ok. Will come back
