They always do an excellent job. My wife is Brazilian and this is her choice for date night. We had some tasty Caipirinhas during happy hour and then enjoyed some sumptuous meats and sides. One of our favorites places to dine.
Great concept, courteous service, food selection is also nice.
Called and asked if there was a dress code. And they told me business attire. I wore slacks, dress shirt and shoes. But when I got there I see people in jeans, sneakers, tee shirts ect. If I would've known it was casual then maybe I would've worn more comfortable clothes and would've enjoyed the meal. But I didn't.
Forgot how much I really don't enjoy this place as I hadn't been in years. Just feels too hectic and rushed. The cuts of meat are not great, but the salad bar is excellent. Service was good but we had to wait 20 minutes even though we had a reservation.
Food is very good. Do not purchase alcoholic beverages here. Way over priced for the size that is given. They definitely make their money here.
Food was great, service not so good. We waited forever to be served the cut I wanted to try (rib eye) 6 different servers told me they would send it over and it finally came when we were ready to get the check, waited 20 min for our waiter to pick our dessert order, waited another 20 min for him to actually bring the dessert and 20 min for us to get the check. So half of the time we spent at the restaurant we were waiting.
Good Service, great salad bar.
Took my son and family for lunch for his birthday
The celebration of the new year.
Self parking is limited due to construction next door. The wait for valet is ridiculous. Drink prices are outrageous. Two mojitos were $30. The variety of meats was far less than what is on the menu and very slow coming out of the kitchen. When they did come, mostly everything was well-done. over. Requested picahna several times and it finally came around when we were about finished. The sides were lukewarm and had no flavor. I’ve been to Fogo several times, but only second time to this location. Pretty disappointing experience . I’ll stick with the Buckhead location from now on.
It was my first time at this restaurant. The food was well cooked and seasoned, especially the sugar cured and peppered bacon. Our server was phenomenal and made sure that we has everything that we needed. There were plentiful choices of meat and choices from the salad bar.
We were seated right away and server came right to our table to welcome us. The market table had numerous fresh options. The drink menus was filled with crafted cocktails and wine. The bartender was making the perfect cocktails for us and we enjoyed them with no regret. I personally liked the whiskey and honey it was the perfect blend of whiskey, honey, and ginger. The selection of meat, pork, and chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Overall excellent experience and would recommend. Will be going back soon.
Great foods, great attention, waitress are excellent, good selection of wines a d good choice of desserts. Love this place. Second time here.
The food was delicious and the portions are huge.
My first time dining here and I really enjoyed the experience.
We've been coming to Fogo for years. It never disappoints. The meats are so flavorful and the service is great.
I absolutely LOVE Fogo de Chao! My first time was for my daughter's birthday many years ago and, although I was a vegetarian at the time, it was great! Now, because I've returned to eating meat (lamb chops are my favorite), anytime I have an opportunity to dine out (and really get my money's worth of great food) I choose Fogo de Chao (especially, the Dunwoody Restaurant)!
Generally speaking I am very pleased with the food and service at Fogo. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the servers kept bypassing our table, almost forgetting that we were in the restaurant. It was only when I said something to a wait staffer that the servers started coming to our table. This has happened one other time to us at the Perimeter location. The times where the servers have bypassed our table had to do with where we were seated. If we were seated along the edge of the restaurant near the front windows or the very edge of the dining area, we have been missed.
Love the concept but probably won’t be back. Been to other Brazilian steak houses, this one has a very small salad bar, maybe 14’x 5’ so it gets really crowded. At one point there was a queue 20 deep for salad. They are also very proud of their wines/drinks. Many bottles commonly available are marked up 3-4x retail value. A mixed cocktail is $13+ dollars. Never saw many of the meats on the menu come by our table. either. Staff was friendly. Place is nice. But there are better values for this type of eating. If you are going to dump this kind of $ on a meal I’d rather go to real steak house.
Our only complaint is that several times different people cleared our plate and promised to bring us a new one, only to never return.
Outstanding food and service. Wentbextra mile too.12byear old gson lost his ear bud during meal. Waiter used an app.and saw they were still in
store.he asked manager who had been holding them in his pocket waiting for someone to claim a them. Happy day.great experience overall.my fav. Was lambchop.
Food is amazing brilliant concept and the market bar rocks. Delicious cocktails and service to die for. Always a fun choice for carnivores
Good Christmas Eve dining experience. Food was excellent but the wait staff was a little hard pressed—place was packed. Only complaint was that it took a little too long to get our side dishes and drinks from the bar. We go here once a year for a special occasion (birthday, holiday, etc.) and it never disappoints.
First time I left Fogo disappointed. For the so called "Holiday Feast Christmas" I must say the price was certainly at that level, the food not so much. Been going to Fogo and other similar restaurants for as far as I can remember, this was the first time I left feeling I did not get a good value for the money. I'm thinking I should have gone to the other location in Buckhead where I never left at a loss. Disappointing.
Food was very good. A little loud. Excellent service.
All good, but the salad bar wasn't as stocked with as many salad items as at our past visits. A better selection of cheeses, smoked ham and salmon appetizers this time. As for entree meats, the bottom sirloin was excellent tasting and by far the best prepared of all. However, the meats weren't consistently cooked as some were served well over done. Our table service was very pleasant with attentive people throughout the meal.
First time to ever eat at this location. The food was good. The service was not great. The salad bar was not as stocked as it usually is. I will most likely continue to go to the location in buckhead instead.
Food was great, service is awesome. But, just seems a bit rushed after awhile, the Meat server stopped coming over (even with green up), had to get a manager to order our meats. Felt like the restaurant wanted our table more (there was a line)
My experience was very overwhelming the staff was wonderful the fool was wonderful the atmosphere was wonderful There's nothing negative that can be said about this restaurant nice location even valet was great will I Attend this restaurant again O yes I will and the prices
to me is very reasonable.
For those of us who ordered the traditional churrasco experience the food and service was very good. However, those in our party who chose to order from the seafood menu literally got nothing. They sat and watched us eat. In addition, no one checked in with us for water refills or to find out why two people at our table had no food. No compensation was offered until one of us took the time to meet with a manager. The manager gave us a gift card but that means we have to revisit this place which isn't going to happen.
Great food choices . The sweet potato soufflé could use a little more brown sugar and butter. Other than that the meats were all tender and fulfilling . Great service . Great ambiance .
We were there for my brothers 21st birthday. Horrible service from the start, I ordered a drink that never came. They ran out of mashed potatoes, took about 30 min to get to the table. Ran out of limeade yet took about 30 min to get to the table. They forgot our coffees yet told us they were making it fresh. I usually love fogo de Chão BUCKHEAD but I will not be back to the Dunwoody location. The waiter was apologetic but seemed he only said it to say but didn’t actually mean it. Horrible experience overall. Really wish I could’ve talked to a manager.
I took my girlfriend here, we took window seats, they treated us well. It was 830pm on a Saturday. Our waiter was more than attentive, I Drake Brazilian lemonade, he even asked if we wanted desert. Of course I didn't want any but my lady did, I was glad he checked I usually forget desert being a guy and all. I wore a Ferrari hat, they let me wear it, no problem. The food was awesome, neat and clean at the fully loaded food bar. The meat was superb. No table was unattended. I have been going to FOGO since 2011 but this one get the best service award and food award. We will be back. 5 star food and service at a price that exist no where else on Earth. To here if you want guaranteed good food and service and an overall positive experience. They won't disappoint.
Arrived at 3pm for a late lunch / early dinner. We were charged for the dinner menu, but it didn't feel like a dinner-level meal. The staff was gathered in a separate area eating their family meal so there were only one or two meat guys coming around every 5-10 minutes. Our server was overseated and didn't really provide the kind of service we receive at other Brazilian steakhouses. My boyfriend ordered a wine by the glass and it took about 10 minutes to arrive.
The meat when we first arrived was lukewarm, like it was the last of the lunch stuff. Then when they brought out fresher meat, it was overcooked and when we asked for medium rare steak, the server seemed annoyed. He didn't come back to our table. Our sides were warm but not hot. The bread was dense and chewy, instead of light and airy. All in all, super disappointing for a $70 (w/tip) meal.
Noisy, crowded tables, too close from table to table, no privacy.
Parking difficult, force to valet parking.
Not same experience as the first location in Buckhead.
Service slow. Hard to get food medium well. Kept bringing well done.
We really enjoyed our experience. They keep the meats coming, we had to turn our sign off several times, as it seemed non-stop. Food was very good. Very nice memorable date night.
My birthday and everything is awesome!
