We dine here several times a year. The food is always very good to excellent. The service is always good sometimes better than others. You won't be disappointed. Come hungry nd don't be afraid to aask for what you want.
The service and food was great, but the place was definitely over booked. When you enter you couldn't walk in or out of the place. They need better organization for Customers and come up with a system when they can have customers waiting in their vehicle.

We didn’t get all the meat we usually do, but it was really busy so we understand. They no longer carry the chocolate molten cake, the espresso machine wasn’t working, nor did they have the tea selection that we usually get. A little bummed; but we’ll be back.

Service was great. Server was very attentive. Salad bar was outstanding as always. And meat cuts were great.
Had a great dinner experience! I’ve been to brazilian steakhouses before but this was our first time at Fogo and it did not disappoint. Waiter was very attentive and I received a complimentary desert for my birthday :) oh cant forget to mention the passion fruit beverage was delicious!

It was a very long time between gauchos visiting our table with selections. Many items never made it to our table so we were not able to have them. That certainly decreases the value but increases the restaurant profit. Took forever to have plates cleared. I had to wave someone down. Bill was incorrect. What we had was tasty and the people working were nice. We felt like our table did not get much attention.

Mom treated the family for Christmas
I felt rushed from the moment I sat down, very high noise level. They allowed me to make a late reservation (10pm) and then called to let me know they’ll be putting food away by 10:30. The call was appreciated but it seemed like all they wanted was to ensure they could accommodate as many people as possible with impersonal service (no one waiter), and an EXTREMELY NOISEY and rushed atmosphere. Not worth a second visit for the prices.

New Year Celebration
The line at the entrance was long and there was only 1 person there. Our group shpwed up 10 mins before our time, and we didnt get seated until 20 or 25 mins later..

The service for some specific meats and temperatures was slow but when we spoke up asking for them we received them quickly.

Overall, just not very good or worth the money. This was our Christmas dinner, a little more expensive then we would normally do but since it was a special occasion we were good with the splurge, had it been worth it. Most of my meats were med-well, which was shocking… I really don’t like meat above medium… all of it pretty much tasted the same… not a single one of them was tender and buttery… just not sure what the issue was. In terms of the location itself, the ceilings are low, it feels cramped and very loud. Our service was not good, I had to switch out plates for our group since we had waited a while for someone to do it with no luck. Disappointing for Christmas meal… we will not be back.

Food and service is great. Had a reservation and they overbooked. We waited I hour and 20 minutes. 6pm reservation and we’re seated at 720. Zero excuses. A whole lot of people were mad.

We were there for a birthday celebration for my son. He's been to Texas de Brazil and we thought he'd like to compare. Hands down this was his favorite. All the food was fresh and displayed beautifully on the salad bar. The meats were cooked for people who different types of doneness. The wait staff was always kind and courteous and didn't blink when we thought we were done and then my son asked for a clean plate, twice more. We'll definitely be going back.
I would give this 0 stars if I could. I had made a reservation a few weeks back for my 21st birthday at this restaurant. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my scheduled reservation time, once checked in the man at the front desk had explained to me they were “running behind” but he checked me in and then informed me it would be “at least 2 hours.” So my question is, what is the point of me making a reservation weeks out just for them to not seat me and my party at our reserved time? Not only was this frustrating for the wait, we were not informed AT ALL prior to arriving. We live about 45 minutes away from this restaurant so it was a bit of a journey, and other members of our party were well over an hour away. We all arrived early just to be let down by what I considered previously to be a 5 star churrascaria. Very disappointed, but luckily I was able to take our large group down the street to Palmas Brasil Churrascaria, 10/10 would recommend. Do not waste your time time making a so called “reservation” here. Save some time and also money and go to Palmas for better food and service.

had a 8.15 reservation and was told we would have an hour wait. while we were at the counter, we were talking to others who had 6.30 reservations who had not been seated at 8.15. i requested to speak to the General Manager, but he never appeared. why accept reservations if you are not going to honor them.

This was for my boyfriends birthday party dinner. We made our reservations in 3 months in advance. We get there 15min early and we’re told that we would have to wait 1-2.5hrs because they are overbooked or behind. I have never been to Fogo De Chao before, but they are classified as fine dining…..this was not a fine dining experience. Then most of the meat was rare. When we asked for medium well….the servers never returned. Two of our guests waited 30min to get plates and only received 2 pieces of meat, yet were charged full price. I doubt that I will ever return

The food and service from waitstaff was great. The wait was awful, we had reservation and still waited over 2 hours.
Had reservation but had to wait 30+ minutes. Huge crowd of people all waiting for their reservations. Some people were waiting 1 hr after their reservation time

What a disaster. Failure by management and, judging from other reviews, a consistent pattern of not being able to provide guests even a mediocre experience. So, last night, the restaurant was clearly overbooked - people packed into the waiting area. Had a 5:45pm reservation, waited until 6:30, then left. Place was way overcrowded, bar was filthy and obviously way behind on service, salad bar was frightening.
I've also noticed management (presumably) responding to critical reviews asking for "another chance", etc. How about; 1) acknowledge/own the issue, 2) describe what steps will be taken to correct the issue, 3) be clear when it will be fixed. Nobody who has had a bad experience is going to dine there again because management "wants" things to be great. What, specifically, are you going to do about it!?
I wanted a great meal and it was a total fail. Avoid.

Long wait even with reservations! The place is like a club, packed with people standing around!! It’s stressing me out to even be here, forget about fine dining. Food is not good compare to other locations. Service is below average due to the volume. Please go somewhere else or the Frisco /Plano location. Do not come here
