Waited an exceptionally long time to be greeted for beverage order, than another long wait just to receive water/cocktails. Also, a long wait to receive check after dining. We have dined here numerous times over the years and always enjoyed our experience. This visit, the quality of the food was not up to the standard we had come to know from this establishment. Example: the rice/beans both seemed significantly undercooked, mashed potatoes were dry and very thick, and salad bar seemed sparse. Though, most of the meats we received were very good. Overall, it seemed to be very chaotic and more like cafeteria dining rather than fine dining. That all being said, we understand it was a holiday which typically brings mass crowds that are not the norm. We will come back on a regular evening to see if this was just an issue with the holiday crowd. Hopefully, we will find the wonderful dining experience we previously knew of this restaurant.

I understand that Mother’s Day is a busy day for most restaurants. But Fogo is a chain restaurant that should be able to anticipate these things especially based on the fact that people are getting vaccinated and feel safe inside restaurants again and that a lot of folks weren’t able to celebrate last year. We had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time (no “sorry for the long wait on Mother’s Day” to our Mom or anything from the hostess) and then when were seated, we told the waiter that we wanted to start with meats right away. We sat for another 5-6 minutes before someone came with sides, another 5 minutes before we got a single piece of meat, and a few minutes after that, we had to ask a hostess for glasses of water when we had said all of this to the initial waiter that came by our table. Ok, fine, stuff like this happens but yay, time for a Brazilian steakhouse right? The food was awful. Cold, poorly seasoned, or contained just crazy amounts of gristle (how the heck do you cook ribs to be grey and dry, and then think it’s ok to serve this to people?). So disappointing. This was my first time at Fogo in several years (we switched to Texas De Brazil because the prices were better and you got like 85-90% of the way there as far quality is concerned). Absolute terrible experience all around and I have no incentive to ever try and go back when the DFW area has so many solid options for Brazilian steakhouses.

Overall I was just very disappointed. Took my mother and my wife for Mother’s Day brunch.I looked up the menu and really the only reason we went was because they were going to have omelettes and once we get there they are not making omelettes. Then one of the guys serving meat put his plate on our table to cut a piece of meat and in the process drops his plate and the pieces of meat on the floor. No big deal to me BUT this guy puts the plate back on the table and proceeds to cut another piece of meat onto the plate that was just on the floor and serve it to us. Oh and the left the meat he had dropped on the floor. Just seemed like they were missing a bunch of stuff and still charged a full holiday dinner price for half of what your supposed to get for a normal brunch.
We apologize for delivering such an experience, as you should always leave us completely satisfied. We hope you visit us in the future, as we will be sure to deliver a 5-star experience.
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!! My family and friends enjoyed the food and experience. A couple of complaints. Some of the meats were a bit bland and needed salt but I enjoyed everything.
Food was good. Salad Bar was great. Staff was great. Ambiance was fun, and a little loud which was great for our large group.

Person was sick in the table next to me, we had to leave because of COVID concerns, we were 6 minutes in the restaurant, and the manager didn’t care and charge me the full buffet, over 100 dlls for 6 minutes of enjoying a sick person next to me.... not returning, not good actions against Covid.

You have to be very hungry to enjoy this wonderful restaurant. Such a great place to take my guys for celebrations. (Don't skip the grilled cheese!)
Too crowded, they didn’t respect the time of my reservation and I had to wait 45mi. To be seated, there is no social distancing

Server didn’t know The difference between vodka and gin. Very slow to respond. Very slow to bring drinks. This was for a very important sales/business meeting for me engaged and it was very challenging due to the noise level.
I would likely not schedule a meeting there again unless it was in a private room.
Additionally, our conversation was constantly interrupted with the servers bringing out the meats. It was so much easier when you had the red and green button flip flip over.
I truly love Fogo. Generally speaking as your great job and I go to your location often.

Our waiter Sadriyka was amazing, she was so kind and accommodating to our every need! All staff as well as they will all help each other out if a table needed any help. The food was amazing as well and the ambiance of the place is so lively yet quietly peaceful filled with all kinds of beautifully dressed people. The layout and setup, design of the restaurant was also very beautiful.

Felt very rushed! We could not get through our appetizer salad plates without interruptions every 3 minutes trying to upsell us on offerings. Now, that they have done away with the green/red flip cards to signal your need for meat, it was a constant barrage of people to where you could not enjoy the meal. Been here several times and it was always good. Very disappointed this time.

I have been a regular at Fogo for years. This was one of the worse experiences I had. Our table was ignored entirely. I told servers on multiple occasions people were walking past us, not coming to the table. I had to get up and stop a server from getting some food, and he quickly still ran past me. I think the location of the table was lacking. When I finally had enough and complained, I will admit the staff fixed almost all the issues, and we did have servers coming by the meats and exact preferences everyone liked. If it started that way, I would have rated it excellent service. It wasn't enjoyable. It took so long, and a complaint to get there.
This is unacceptable, as no guest should be ignored while dining with us. We're sorry a complaint is what made your experience better, as we should always start off amazing. Please, visit us again.
My brazilian gauchos this time... the brazilian guy who transferred maybe a year ago, and the one with gray hair were both on point. I continue to return mostly because of some of these guys rather than the food itself.
After reaching full immunization from our vaccinations, my wife and I went to our first dinner inside a restaurant in over a year. The food and service were as excellent as they were the last time we went to this restaurant, before the pandemic. The restaurant observed prescribed protective measures, including providing and requiring disposable plastic gloves for accessing the salad bar. The salad bar was not as extensive as the previous times that we were there, but I would guess that is because the restaurant is not up to capacity yet, and much of the food in a more extensive salad bar likely would go to waste with the current number of diners. However, the salad bar still has an extensive and varied selection of food. The restaurant was quite busy on a Thursday evening, although the tables were all at least six feet apart. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there as usual, and we will be back.
