I can't comment on how the food was because we finally just left. We had a reservation and 50 minutes later we had still not been sat. When we checked in, we were told we would be seated shortly. After 20 minutes, we asked how much longer we would have to wait and we were told it would be 5 more minutes. After 30 minutes, we asked where we were on the list. We were told we would be the next couple sat. We then proceeded to watch several more couples be sat ahead of us. After 40 minutes, we asked to speak to a manager who said he would take care of it and ensure we were sat right away. We then watched several more couples be sat in front of us. We left 50 minutes after our reservation because we had still not been sat.
I understand that it is hard to estimate how long someone will stay at a table at a restaurant like Fogo de Chao. I recognize that being a hostess is a very tough job. That being said, don't lie to people about where they are in the list. Don't tell someone it's going to be 5 more minutes and then not seat them for 25 minutes. Also if you know that you're running an hour behind schedule, tell people when they check in for the reservation. This was a ridiculous experience. I am so disappointed with this restaurant for how they treated the waiting list. A little more transparency would have really helped because I would have expected to wait and could have made the decision myself on if I was willing to wait an hour.
The food was wonderful as always. We did have an issue with our reservation. We arrived on time and checked in. They gave us a beeper and we headed to the bar. We sat there for almost an hour and nothing. I know it a place that is hard to judge how long tables will be staying so I just went up to the host stand check-in. They did not have our name or beeper number on the list. Once I brought it to there attention they put us at a table right away. I use open table to keep the wait time to a minimum and I know mistakes happen. Just never a fun to encounter.
Went here on Saturday and I enjoyed myself. It is defiantly worth the cost.
First time experience for fiance's bday and loved it will definitely go again great service and food
This was my first time here but it certainly won't be my last time. We were celebrating my son's birthday and it was well worth the 2 hour drive!
Food was good, service was
Very good! More fruit on the market bar please!
Great service and food. What more can you ask for? 🙂😉
This used to be 1 of my favorite restaurants, but this visit was not what I was used to. The servers basically ignored us. We had to track them down. All of the meat was rare, so we had to wait additional time for anything that we liked. To have a $145 bill, you would think you would have a better experience. It will be a while before I return there.
First time visit for my birthday. Food was a1
Main service was lacking. Where we sat hard to get the best cuts as the food guys had to go through large tables by the time they got to us. Very full restaurant.
Great place to go and have dinner, meet with people and get full. Food was great, the service was great, nice friendly staff.
Restaurant was very busy and service suffered a great deal.
We normally love this restaurant but service was very poor this day.
Wonderful time as always. My must go to restaurant when I’m in the area.
It’s pricey at $55 pp. Not a great value unless you eat yourself into a stupor. But my kids like it, and one is gluten-free so this place works occasionally.
All the meat taste the same. It was not tender at all . I've dined here several times , maybe it was just an off night.
always a pleasure dining at fogo de chao and the market table was great this year for easter.
Best steakhouse ever
Bait and switch: when we got our check we learned that the dinner prices were in effect for brunch on Easter: $14 extra per person. No warning when we made reservations or when they called to confirm. This is the second time this restaurant has been sneaky with prices. Last time we went they offered food at the table without warning that it was an extra charge.
Wonderful experience! Wonderful food and great service!
I love this location!
Amazing fast service. Food cooked to perfection.
THE RESTAURANT WAS BEAUTIFUL THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY TASTY EVERYONE WAS FRIENDLY OVERALL I WILL GO BACK!! I WILL BE TELLING MY FRIENDS ABOUT YOU GUYS..
Food as always was delicious. Having been many times, however, service was lackluster and atmosphere troubling. Service seemed rote and impersonal. Restaurant was overly loud, and the small child who screeched continuously without any apparent suggestion by management to quiet unfortunate.
As always Fogo de Chao had delicious meats, a great salad buffet and the staff was friendly as usual
Great service, very friendly, assisted with my wine selection very well.
Amazing service, delicious food! The meat is amazing! Big fan!
Everything was excellent with the exception of some parts of the service. The first server did not clearly explain how the service worked so I was very confused but eventually figured it out. Also they took awhile to get drink orders. The servers with the meats did excellently at arriving to tables almost immediately when we flipped our cards over. The food was amazing, and the diversity of options was extremely satisfying.
The food is amazing, and it is really fulfilling when you can get all you can eat. I also love the cafeteria they provide, as the vegetables perfectly balance the oily taste you may feel too much by plainly eating all kinds of meat.
Overall great experience!
We were pretty disappointed!! I made reservations for 5:30pm got there early and didn't get sitting till 6pm! The front hostess kept telling me that our table was getting setups for over half hour!! After all we were very disappointed and the foods were very salty! I would not recommend this to all my family and friends!
I love Fogo de Chão. I have been to this location many times but something was off this time. The farofa came uncooked. When we ordered a second time it came burnt, as the cheese bread. Service was a little slow too
Place was too crowded and the guys were taking too long to come around with the meats.
I just love the food. Can eat that bread all day, everyday.
Fantastic...as always. Caipirinhas to die for.
The food & ambiance was 5star all the way! Our waiters were so friendly, polite & funny too. My birthday experience was awesome!💞
Tho was suppose to be my 34th Wedding Anniversary dinner. Started out disastrous! After being seated, the waiter ask us if this was our first time there. We said yes. He then gave us a wine list and said he would be back. He then came back after a few minutes and then I ask for a menu. He then said, there are no menus. He never explained how this restaurant works. He took our drink order. I was at a loss. We sat for about 5minutes when the partner waiter came. What a difference!!! He ask how everything was going. I told him the first waiter did not explain anything to us and told us there are no menus. He then apologized on behalf of other staff person and explained how everything was to be. Drinks now arrived as we had now gotten up to go to salad bar. Just before the second waiter arrived I figured it out that the green little coaster when turned over meant to have them bring meat to you and the red turned over meant to not bring. I only knows that because some friends had mentioned that in conversations that I recalled. After that we ate. At the end of the meal the second waiter(the nice one) upon bringing the bill told me the desserts we ordered was complimentary due to the situation. I was grateful for that. However, most places I go for Anniversary always gives a free complimentary dessert for Anniversaries anyway. No one said happy anniversary! Not even the girl who saw our reservation when we entered. It was in the notes. I also had requested a nice secluded spot if possible. Instead of the back room which was not completely full, they put us in the main area with plenty of noise. From this experience I will not be coming back to this location. Perhaps the suburban locations cater to folks a bit better.
First time In was a bit confusing but food was so good!
Great authentic Brazilian food. I had hoped to have some grilled pineapple, but they did have it.
Not even close to the original place in São Paulo.
