They are amazing! And the food here is beyond amazing! Definitely worth the money.
This was always a great experience. It had been a couple years since we had been to Fogo in Chicago. The atmosphere was completely different - bright white LED lights over tables, the food was "ok" - they kept pushing the sirloin and had to beg to get chicken and lamb. Not the experience we used to have.
I would not recommend.
Had yet another excellent experience at Fogo! Love coming here. The food, team & ambiance is perfect! The market table alone is fantastic.
The hosts were exceptional. The only problem was we had to wait on the meat every time they served us. I let them know I wanted well done ahead of time. I was told they would be back in 5 minutes. Had to ask the waitress for my meat when the waiter never came back with it.
Changed for the worse. Outrageously expensive for the experience now.
Very good experience
Service was outstanding! The variety on the salad bar is excellent. Meat selection is good and seasoned well. Shrimp on the skewers may be a nice addition. I think the recipe on the key lime pie was changed. It was good but was better in the past.
Disappointed in selection on cold bar. Everything so similar.
I go to Fogo any chance I get, and if all the location I’ve been too, The Chicago location takes the cake. Everything is just.... better there.
Great job as usual team.
Very nice waiter. Fun experience! Yummy salad bar
Within the first 10 seconds my waiter Dropped a whole glass of water in my lap. We never received any drinks. We never saw our waiter again. We had to ask another waiter for our check. And they offered no compensation for the mishap with the water.
The waiters rushed us out. The service provided was horrible. Didn’t bring out drinks till half way done with dinner
This was for a last minute casual belated birthday celebration. We were not impressed with the service and how things were handled by the hostess and floor manager.
Food was ok
Great for trying something new. A little pricey but worth the experience. Very friendly staff
We have been coming to Fogo de Chao for a number of years. This time we came for a birthday and we were quite disappointed. The lighting and restaurant has been remodeled and I felt the food was very sub-average for the amount that you have to pay for dinner. We brought a first-time client and and it was quite disappointing. Other than the service which was relatively good it was a restaurant that I would not recommend or plan on returning to in the near future.
On a one-to-ten scale I would give it a three at best
Great restaurant for all types of steak! It is on the pricey end but you will get your money’s worth with the amount of food you eat! All of the meat is cooked perfectly and the servers are very knowledgeable about the meats and cuts. Very friendly staff and managers that came to our table multiple times to make sure everything was good and would bring over specific meats if you were waiting on it. I’ve been here more than once now and will continue to come back here! One of the best steakhouses in town for sure!!
This restaurant never disappoints. The food is always amazing and the dining area is immaculate. They are very accommodating to personal requirements for disabled individuals and for special needs.
We go here every year a few times, especially for a holiday/end-of-year special meal.
Had a holiday dinner with my family after seeing a movie.
It was a good night topped off by a great dinner and Brazilian drinks!
I have always recommended Fogo de Chao for an excellent evening.
Wonderful service. The food was awesome. We had a great time and will be back.
Service of premium meat cuts was sub par.
My Boyfriend’s birthday.
Heading downhill unfortunately
Dinner was good everything we expected. It was a nice dining experience.
We loved the food! The service was impeccable! Slightly overpriced, but we should have been hungrier when we arrived. It is best to eat slowly and take your time in between their offerings! We would definitely go back again!
Not as good as it used to be.
ALWAYS ENJOYED THIS RESTAURANT ONLY GRIPE IS THAT THE SAME SERVERS KEPT COMING AND WE DID NOT GET TO SAMPLE EVERYTHING WE WANTED.
Service was outstanding - food just ok.
Service was amazing but as much as our server and all employees in general tried very hard the food does not compensate their hard work, don’t take me wrong... meats were OK but the “MARKET TABLE” is just the average salad bar and had much better experiences at other restaurants when it comes to this kind of setup. Again don’t take me wrong, the meats were outstanding, Perhaps do a better job on the salad bar or simply get rid of it and bring some additional side dishes to the table, I was with a group of 7 and we all had the same opinion.
We went on Christmas Eve for dinner, the place was slammed. Salad bar area was sparse and many empty bowls, we added on two ala cartel shrimp cocktails to make up for that.
Meats were good, most were cooked rare/medium rare which did not go over well with four of our guests. ( blood is a turn off) which meant we didn’t eat much!
We went there for Dec 24th family dinner. At the price of the full meat experience you pay 56 a person pre tax. That is pretty serious after tax as that competes with many other better steak places. Unlimited is not always good. The meat is inconsistently seasoned and lots of cuts are not 'good' or expensive meat so you're paying serious dough to wait for 3 of meats. And those don't come by a lot. What's worse is that people walk around like slobs. They should enforce a minimum dress code esp for dining. One person behind me reeked. They also added tables an jam-packed the placed. So during dinner I constantly got pushed or brushed by people squeezing through. Wait staff was overwhelmed and the whole experiencce felt like a cheap cruise liner dining room.
The valet parking was good and the hostess was kind and courteous , but the ambiance left a lot to be desired. The restaurant has lost its intimate feel for a more cold and stark decor . Since it was Christmas Eve everyone was crammed into each other and we got the emergency exit seating, not romantic or cozy at all. The top half of the restaurant now has a gymnasium vibe with bright white Led lights . There was no music that we could tell , festive, piped or otherwise. This is a restaurant where the people have to go to the salad bar, but to have everyone crammed into each other made getting around more like an obstacle course. The waiter and the charro staff were courteous and helpful. I do not think I will return to this restaurant because the romantic and warmth feel is missing . Please do something about your ‘gym’, I don’t pay $55/person for this type of place.
I’ve enjoyed dining at Fogo de Chao restaurants throughout the country and the food and service are always consistently excellent. This was no exception. Truly excellent service. Always a pleasure and highly recommended!
Always an excellent choice! Very attentive staff
For some reason it seemed that it was a big deal to ask for Filet Mignon. They kept coming by to push the house special and garlic beef and some top sirloin, but when we asked for Filet it took about 15 minutes, then he only came the one time. Considering the prices have increased since our last visit, this was disappointing. The leg of lamb was WAY overseasoned. Also, they only came by with lamb twice. We don't go to Fogo for chicken, pork or sausage. We go there for the amazing steaks and lamb. It just seemed like we waited more than usual for steak, and then as mentioned above Filet Mignon was not coming regularly, and neither was the lamb.
Much of the cozy ambience has been lost because of the remodeling and new bright lighting, but the food was as good as always.
Great food and service!
Staff are friendly, attentive and great! Food is great with abundant variety. I will recommend it!
Food was fine, but service was lacking.
We had to wait quite a while even having a reservation. And when sat down, they constantly had people coming around offering appetizers or drinks, not mentioning that they are all ridiculously overpriced.
The servers were also fairly rude.
