We really love Fogo de Chao is one of our favorite spot for food and drinks we couldn't be happier today was great experience , we felt very welcome specially for Estefania , she was always pending on us , Efrain asking us if we were fine with our food and alway pending about us if we were ready for our next cut of meat thank you for the beef ribs they were delicious ! and course Edgar like always you're the best seriously THANK YOU GUYS !!! See ya soon !!
Nothing the higher end restaurant and best ambiance, but the meats are very good and service is super efficient.
Attentive service and a fun evening. Good food.
Food was great and always an energetic ambiance is this place. Reservations on the other hand was more of a suggestion. Had a 7:30 reservation for 5 and was placed on the wait list upon arriving and waited 40 min for a table. Reservations beware!!!!!
Took a group of 16 for my Birthday and the experience was amazing. Food was great and service was even better.
Estefania made sure she took care of everything!
The drinks were expensive
Birthday— no special treatmenr
AMAZING food. Nothing disappointing at all. Even the salad was delicious
I've been going to Fogo for a few years now, and I feel like there are changes to the environment that interfere with the overall experience that have nothing to do with the staff or the quality of the food:
The lighting is whiter and brighter than it used to be. The ambience doesn't feel as intimate as it used to, and it feels more like a diner. Switching back to yellow light would help with that.
The new menu items feels like a bald attempt to get more money from us. The reason I go to Fogo is to experience a variety of meats. If I wanted just one cut, I'd go somewhere else.
The experience during payment really cheapens the experience. I'm not an employee of Fogo, and I'm not trained on your software. I shouldn't be spending the end of my meal figuring out how to pay you, especially at the prices you're charging. It interrupts the conversation and ends the evening on a vulgar note.
Best service ever best food as well
I think Fogo de Chao is losing its touch. Downsizing on that amazing salad bar was not a good idea. The servers were not too friendly and slow. I waited too long to get some lamb chops (over an hour to make a round to my table), by the time they came around me for the first time, I was done eating and to top it off, the meat was a bit too dry. I will be visiting one of their other locations soon, hoping that I'll have a better experience, otherwise, I don't think I will be visiting Fogo again. Disappointed.
Our waiter was terrible. Not friendly at all, as soon as we decided not to get alcohol, he completely ignored us. Everyone else though, the workers that bring out the meat, the bus boys, the people who bring out the sides, the managers, all very nice. Just a very arrogant waiter that I was not fond of at all.
Although we made a reservation we still waited 45 minutes for our table. Hostess was fairly rude to everyone. Service and food were grea
My wife and I love this place. We come here all the time for special occasions.
Best churrasceria out of brasil.
Fair Price-son under 12...half Price
Unfortunately no draft Beer
Fiancée’s birthday this evening. It was a wonderful time as always.
Fogo continues to be my restaurant of choice for business meetings with colleagues and clients. The service today was again exceptional! I’m always blown away by their delicious salad bar variety as a great start to my meal. The main course options were delicious - I highly recommend their lamb chops and filet! Another successful client lunch!
Wow. Amazing as usual. They have the very best service and it is a great place to entertain clients. So much variety for everyone. They literally cater to every need. The chocolate Brazilian cake is amazing. 5 stars all around!!!!
Amazing food and service! Everyone was so nice and attentive! The food it great, the best BBQ in town!Highly recommended!
Horrible service ....the meats came over or under cooked.
If you’re a fan of all you can eat, this is a great place. $50+ per person, which isn’t cheap. But someone can literally pig out and get a great value. The beef was fabulous but the chicken breast was dry to the point of inedible. The hot bar seems like a waste of time. The salad bar is magnificent, with selections you won’t see anywhere else. The atmosphere is a bit noisy and touristy. Attire of the patrons not what you’d expect in a ‘white tablecloth’ restaurant. I doubt many locals eat there. And the gaucho attire of the servers is a bit hokey for my taste. Plus, there was a guy walking around with a tray of mimosas, not serving them to anyone. Advertising? We were there to use a large gift card my husband got for a work anniversary and easily killed $150 with only one beer, and dessert. Valet parking can be avoided, since there’s a pay lot directly across the street on Erie.
Now I'm a little biased because I've been to Fogo a good number of times over the years. The table service/clearing is decent now, but it used to be impeccable, with everything being refreshed and cleared before you even realized you wanted it done. Back in the day they couldn't stand to see a crumb on your table - it was scooped up without you even being quite sure what transpired. Granted, tonight was the busiest I've ever witnessed, so that could be part of the less than ideal service.
The bathrooms could still use updated vacant/occupied handles, which I've suggested in the past. But it's not Fogo's fault that grown women don't know how to lock their stall when they go in. However, Fogo can and should check the restrooms for paper towel stock regularly. We had to resort to using the Kleenex on the counters. When running a promo, different stop/go markers should be used, so people are not tempted with a meat they cannot have. We got so confused. No one remembers the list of can vs. can't have mid-meal. If you come over with something that looks scrumptious and offer it, I'm saying yes. I loved the addition of the grilled cheese with honey and pork with pineapple platters. That cheese though....yaassss.
Last but not least, waiting nearly 20 minutes when I had a reservation was a bit frustrating. As many reviewers say, "what's the point of the reservation if I'm not seated when I requested?" Overall, this visit was good. Not the magic of previous visits, but still a solid choice.
Four of us came for a nice evening. Been at other locations and is usually good. Waiter was overwhelmed, finally got drinks. Time to eat ???? Not here !
Did NOT order discount menu. Food was barely brought out, ( got 3 servings total) one was cold!
Obviously a bad nite! Very disappointing 😌
This was my first visiting the downtown location... very very good!
We enjoyed the Market Fresh salad for lunch which was very enjoyable.
We got seated in a terrible Spot alongside the wall where they get all their supplies. They rarely came by us and we had to ask multiple times for certain meats. We come here all the time and this experience was unfortunate. To make matters worse most of the meat was SUPER salty which was a first. We will give it one more chance before finding a new family favorite.
The restaurant was kind of dirty, the waiters with the meat were messy and the meat sauce was all over our table and thank god it didn’t get on our clothes. In 60 minutes of dining 5 different „managers“ were always bugging us while we were eating. The waiter for our table was always and I mean always refilling our glasses and at times he was waiting while we were drinking, we are all old enough to refill the drinks ourselves. If I need something, I call the waiter over. Last but not least, we had two Grappa‘s to finish the evening and I have NEVER paid $50 for two little shots of Grappa, not even in one of the best restaurants in Beverly Hills and Manhattan!!! I don’t mind spending $1000 for dinner but $50 for two „shots“ of Grappa is insane. Too bad I didn’t take any pictures, my bad.
It was perfect
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. They even provided a birthday cake to my girlfriend on her birthday. I walked out of there absolutely stuffed.
Food was at best mediocre. Very disappointed at this place. Salad bar is average and everything was really messy and dirty. Service was good even though I had to ask for new plates a few times. Definitely better off going to Zed 451
As usual, the two girls working at the host stand were the worst part about the whole experience. We didn't even get a greeting or welcome and they behaved as though they were doing us a favor by seating us. They are the face of the whole place and the first thing your dining experience involves. It's a shame they are so bad.
We can’t say enough good things about Fogo de Chao! We took advantage of their Restaurant Month special and boy, did we make the right choice. Our dinner service was good from start to finish. The staff was quick and delightful, and the meats - especially the Garlic Steak and Pork ribs are to die for. Would have been a great meal but the Lamb, Ribeye and Bacon Wrapped Filet were way over cooked, burnt and dry to our liking. We appreciated that the meats keep coming, and the cuts are just enough to fill us without regretting it later. We finished with the cheesecake and strawberries which were sinfully delicious. We were celebrating a birthday, and Fogo de Chao made our son feel special with the decorated dessert plate and candle. Thank you, Fogo de Chao! We will be back!
Our waitress was amazing!! Everyone there was amazing! It was a first time for us we went there to celebrate our birthday and they gave us a complimentary birthday cake! Definitely going back!
We use to come here all the time and it use to be packed and the food was flowing. It took forever for our drinks to come, when they did come half of them were wrong. The meat delivery was super slow and very slim pickings. It was just not as good as it use to be. Food was still amazing, drinks did taste great once we got them and the wait staff was very nice.
a bit disappointing compared to other rivals in the chain, atmosphere, service and quality of food very poor.
Celebrated my Birthday on a Monday afternoon party of 8. Service was attentive and the food was delicious and hot. All the meats were flavorful but the best to me was the lamb chops. The lamb was tender and had just the right amount of char with a medium rare center. The salad bar was fresh and plentiful with an array of food to delight any palate. We would definitely come here again to celebrate special occasions!!
This Fogo de Chao was horrible. I recommend Naperville Fogo. Chicago ‘s Fogo did not have the popular bacon at the buffet, all the sides they give you and bread game out cold. The servers were not persistent. The meats were not coming around often. If you want the opposite go to naperville Fogo.
Having been there before, I was extremely disappointed. Racks of beef were far and few between. The two times I had it, I had to ask for it and it came from the back, Ribeye and sirloin were the only two choices and very small pieces were carved. Lamb was good and the other meats were racks of chicken and sausage. There were very few waiters and we saw our waitress once. Our rolls and potatoes came later when a waiter noticed we didn't have any. Ration your water. There was no one to ask for a refill. The price has gone up and you are getting less. By the way, tip percentages go down to 0 and that's what I gave.
I liked that the server tried to accommodate us but , there was not enough meat prepared for well done for us to truly enjoy all of the cuts of meats. The meat server gave us less portions than others sitting right next to us. I did not like how I was served by the people issuing the food they acted as if they paid for the food themselves. The drinks were good but pricey. Not worth the money spent
Food and drinks were fine. Service was a little slow but my main complaint was with the Restaurant Month pricing offer that Fogo was solicited to me via email. It turns out the special pricing excluded some premium cuts of meat which I acknowledge was in the fine print but that's the issue - it was in the fine print and you had to specifically look for it. I only discovered that once we were at the restaurant, honoring our reservation. Even our waiter called it a SCAM! I agreed and like for info to be upfront. It just left a bad taste in my mouth.
