Very great dining experience considering the circumstances going on with the shut down. Heated tent for the outside dining, amazing and friendly service from waiters/ waitresses and phenomenal food! Can’t wait to go back when the restaurant is fully open!
The no alcohol thing was unexpected and I was expecting cocktails. Also a lot of the salad bar options weren’t available and we weren’t getting a whole variety of meats it was the same guys repeatedly but the food was amazing as always.
It was our anniversary, we had a lot of fun and the food was really tasty

I had guess we all for well done steak and kept getting rare steak and cold food my first experience there was horrible!!!!! No wine also charging you for water unbelievable

Not a good type of meal to eat in a tent. Way to many people crowded in at entrance. Tent could of used more ventilation for safety as well.

The experience was nicer then expected, especially due to covid. Only thing thing I didn’t like is they don’t serve liquor and the bathroom is across the street.
Service was amazing! Reservation was for 9:00, we were seated at 8:50 because we were early 😳 we were served as soon as we sat down and it was amazing from start to finish. they ran out of sprite, which is totally not a big deal at all, but they insisted we have a dessert on them for it. And they even made the very best of the “outside dining” under the tent situation due to covid restrictions. All in all amazing place!! Will definitely come back next time we are in Chicago.

The food tasted so Smokey since it was cooked outside in a tent. We were in the corner and we kept getting overlooked for meat. We had to flag people down to request meat.

With the changes due to the pandemic, restaurant should update website to the short menu. I had to order the Experience when I only wanted Lamb Chops.

Due to corona they do not service alcohol and any type of sides or salad bar it’s in a very crowded tent with terrible service every 2 minutes someone is coming up to your table offering the same meat over and over again. Worst dining experience I have ever had. They charge the same price even though they don’t offer even half of what they normally would.

Covid has impacted the full Fogo experience. Luckily I have been prior to covid) but I went this week & didn't really enjoy my meal. All of the meat was prepared "well" & over cooked. I looked forward to their specialty drink the Caprihini & they unfortunately were not serving liquor outdoors due to the city's order(liquor license). My side dishes were not good either. My bread was hard & cold, my mashed potatoes were cooked in water, lack flavor & were simply limp. I understand it has been really hard for some restaurants as they are trying to stay afloat during COVID but the experience is just not the same under the tent.

Because of COVID we had to eat outside in a tent but it made no difference! Everything thing was nothing short then amazing. Between the staffing food and ambiance I can’t choose everything 5 star ! Thank u Carlos

Spotless caring service and delicious food as usual.
Except that during this time the staff are putting twice more effort to be able to keep up the same great promise of high quality dining in Fogo De Chao.
I can't say enough how much I appreciate the passion for quality that manager Nasco and his crew are putting to their awesome service.
My only regret is seeing Fogo removing leg of lamb, my favorite cut of meat (and IMHO way better than lamb steak) from their offering. But I can't complain too much as long as they keep lamb chops.
In any case, for anyone who likes to see quality dining survives and flourishes this is the time to show our support and make a point that we the consumer, AKA demand side of the economy appreciate suppliers of the GOODNESS!

Our waiter started off attentive but didn’t check on us after we were given the food. We later found out that he was serving the other side of the restaurant. We didn’t understand why he sat us on the opposite side that he was servicing.

we had a reserved table for 7 people. we were not told that we cannot sent at one table. Part of my kids had to set on a seperate table. Also, there were unable to serve wine. the menu was limited due to the current situation. we try to support the resturant, but we expect little better for the price we paid. otherwise, God bless you for what you guys go through at this time. good luck

I was very disappointed. We were seated right away. And greeted by Mike our server/point person. He stated that he was the one that would take care of us. As we began to receive our food, Mike was nowhere to be found. Throughout our entire dining experience, no dedicated server. Orphan diners. We had to randomly ask different servers for items while other tables had a dedicated point person. At the end, I asked for our server and they said he was assigned to a different area. This was done with no notice. We were not informed and no other server was assigned to our table. Made for a terrible dining experience.
Stephen, we never want to disappoint our guests, so this is troubling to hear. When you are ready, please visit us again, as we'd love to make this up to you.
The service isn’t as good anymore as it used to be, not that it’s bad but it used to be a lot better.
*This part isn’t a complaint* My last visit was a birthday lunch with my girl, we usually dine at Fogo on her birthday as it’s one of her favourites. It was the first time that she wasn’t served a birthday dessert. This isn’t an issue but was a bit odd as we’ve been spoilt by the usual standards of this place but that’s probably down to the impact of Covid.
Food was excellent as always so that gets a mention as well.

Was so glad Fogo called to let me know they had a huge heated tent (in their parking lot) for "outdoor dining. I wouldn't have known. So fun going and eating some of my favorites. Miss the Red/Green (stop/go) markers, since the meat was coming too fast at the beginning. But overall a great experience given today's environment.
I was still hesitant going, but saw how spaced out the tables are and the tent has some open seams for air to escape, but also plenty of heat sources. Didn't need to eat with coats on either! Bathrooms were back in the main restaurant, but no problem.
We had at least 6-7 freshly grilled meats. Servers came by to show/serve part of the "Market station" items. The traditional sides (brazilian bread, plantains, polenta, garlic mashed potatoes) were provided/refreshed often. Great dessert after and great holiday music. There's an Xmas tree inside too.
Definitely plan to go again! Thanks Fogo!

Absolutely not the same as indoor service. Music was too loud, and keep hearing notification sounds from what ever phone device was connected to speakers. No alcohol served only water and soft drinks. Food was not the same much less tasted any better. There is no buffet. I would wait till all of this Covid-19 is over with to visit again, if I ever do. Not worth the experience, we were all very disappointed.

Servers had no idea about meat temperature. Food was not well seasoned and was very undercooked medium rare was black and blue while medium was rare. Very bad experience. They are not serving alcohol which they fail to mention on their website, as they advertise the “vast wine selection”.
We are terribly concerned to hear this, as we love to prepare our cuts to the best of our ability. We hope this doesn't keep you from visiting us in the future.
