Had one of the best dinners tonight here. So much food, yes its a bit pricey but you def get your money’s worth. So happy I came here and make sure you get the tres leche for desert. Will definitely come back next time I am in Boston.

They did the best they could and were very nice. But I think people should be warned— this is not a similar experience to pre Covid. They can’t seat more than 6 people together and they are not willing to put 2 tables within talking distance, so if you go with a group you will be split up. You can’t visit the salad bar yourself but need a helper to retrieve each and every food. The meat now comes around pre sliced on platters. We won’t go back until/if it goes back to normal. Just too expensive for that revised experience.

COVID dining has changed a lot. This visit to Fogo was nothing like it used to be. The meats were largely overcooked. The Market Table was missing a lot of what it used to have available. The wait staff were still very friendly and so were the gauchos. However the food quality, for the price paid, really wasn't there. I'll be sure to go back after things settle back to normal. It has been excellent in the past.

Pro: food is good (meat, buffet). Manager was constantly moving around keeping an eye on everything. Also liked the solution for the buffet during COVID-times: they had an "inner" ring with an employee picking what you pointed out from the "outer ring", keeping guests at a distance from the buffet. It's too bad they don't come around with the skewers anymore, just with plates of precut meat. I blame it on COVID, didn't bother me too much.

Con: the atmosphere is a mixture of a train station and a cheap hotel lobby. Except for a small portion in the back zero decoration, nothing Brazilian or cozy whatsoever. It makes the Brazilian "Gauchos" look almost out of place.
Here's the best part though: we inquired about the advertised Easter Brunch that day. Server didn't know anything. Went asking, came back and said, yeah if we want to order something (like what?) we can do that. Thanks for letting him know about the brunch (you're welcome, that's what we came for). That. was. it. Not even a chocolate Easter egg on the table. Apparently they don't care about their own advertisements or special occasions. Way to run a business.

Again, food is good but also pricey. Before you go there you may want to check other Brazilian Rodizio options, there are plenty in Boston, Somerville etc. If you are taking business folks for a lunch or diner in the Prudential Center area you may be ok with Fogo.

Ordered the Churrasco Experience. The meats were very disappointing. There was an abundance of sirloin and chicken legs and not much else. The Caipirinhas were great and the table side bar service was a nice touch, but overall not worth the money.

Not good. We’ll never come back. The server didn’t know what he was doing. I asked for a pineapple juice because i’m pregnant and they came back with an alcoholic drink. Unacceptable!!

It felt rushed when we were there to eat. They also didn’t make it very apparent that restraurabt week offered discounts wasn’t offered on Saturday. Food is over priced. Wouldn’t go back. Dropped $80 per person.

Both the food and the service were awesome! Being totally blind, the manager made sure that all of the meat was cut, and then I received all of the food that I wanted! This place is amazing!

Did the restaurant week. Was not happy with overall meats. I expected to be much higher quality compared to other regular Brazilian AYCE restaurants. Only the Prime Top Sirloin (Picanha) and Bottom Sirloin (Fraldinha) were nice. The Prime Lamb Steak (Cordeiro) were tuft and overcooked. Also, the Prime Too Sirloin (Picanha) only came to my table once. I had to ask our server several times for it, and it still never came. So he finally went to the manager to get it to us. The salad bar was great.

I was here for restaurant week, never again it’s a separate menu from what you would normally have the option of choosing from. Next time I come here it won’t be during restaurant week.

I'm giving 2 stars because our server was outstanding and the drinks were good but the meats were not good. It was difficult to get any rare or medium rare cuts and what we did get seemed to be mostly end pieces and tough. I felt like I wasted a lot of food because I kept thinking the next piece would be better but it wasn't.I also don't see the point of having the salad bar semi open. It just ends up being a very slow process. It would be better to wait until all restrictions are lifted and you can serve yourself. I've been to Alma Gaucha a few times and it's much better and less expensive.

I don't think Fogo de Chau is worth it during COVID. A lot of what made the experience so significant has been changed (understandably and temporarily).

I enjoyed the salad bar more than the meat selections. The beef, chicken and pork rib was very dry and salty. The table service was great and the staffs was very attentive.

All things considered we had a terrible visit to Fogo de Chao. We'd booked a table at 7:30pm, but when we arrived the restaurant was packed to the rafters, with tons of people waiting inside and outside the restaurant. We were escorted outside and told that they would text us when a table was available. Kinda defeats the purpose of a reservation. There were other people waiting and I asked them when their reservation was and how long they had been there. Turned out they had booked 15 minutes before us. All in all it took approximately 40 minute before we got seated.

Then the restaurant had changed its business model and they required you to queue up for the salad bar, where you could get a plate. No plate == no food (because the waiters only drop of food if you have a plate. Unfortunately there were lines around the block for that salad bar with little or no movement. Surely we did not defeat communism to stand in line for food?

To top it all off it seemed that the restaurant was not following the State's COVID-19 measures as it was very full inside. To be honest I am wondering why we stayed at all.

After we had overcome all of this we found the meat to be decent and the wine too.

The waiters were super friendly, but the overall restaurant experience was terrible.
