We have enjoyed Fogo de Chao every visit until this past one and we go fairly often as my teenage boys love steak. We sat for quite some time before being offered any meat, in fact or server had to go into the kitchen to ask it to be brought to our table. The meat was dry and overcooked despite requesting medium rare to rare. It's unfortunate that we had a bad experience as normally we love coming to this restaurant. Our service on the other hand was outstanding, attentive and thoughtful.

The place and food are really good, but today the service was really slow, taking forever to bring what we asked. I felt the employees a little lost. For the price, need to be much better.

The restaurant was pretty loud and packed for a new years eve dinner. Food was good, but the ambient was hectic. The salad bar wasn’t at its best. Meat was delicious though
The service was horrible. We were seated and had to wait 45 minutes for a waitress to come take our drink orders. We wanted to order an appetizer and it was almost an hour after we sat down before she even came to get the order and bring our first drinks. The food was good but the service was so disappointing for a party of 7 on NYE. For the cost we expected better service. I asked for a manager who never came the waitress ignored us. We will not be returning to this location again.

Meat was not up to expectations. Well done and too much gristle and fat. More scraps left in plate then eaten. Meat very flavorless. Have had much much better at other similar places.
It has been several years since I had been. Due to health issues I have I can eat only very small portions, but thought it OK to spend the money and have a nice celebration with my boyfriend. But the price has significantly increased and it turned out to be far more expensive than I had anticipated. Nevertheless, it was a good time.
The food and staff were awesome!

Great overall experience
Christmas dinner. Service was spotty. Quality of cuts was ok, some of them on the chewy side. The filet mignon was well done. You’re better off going with a steak. The sides are uninspired. Think big chain that needs more attention to detail.
I don’t see myself going back for an overpriced lack luster meal.

This has been our go to for about five years now for holiday dinners. Everyone gets what they want. Service has been consistent until now. The location seems very dated now compared to the new Burlington location. Today the food was good and the experience started off like it normally does. Attentiveness dwindled from there. When it was time for dessert and the check, it took a while to track someone down to order and then to pay. Wasn’t ok my vehicle reeked like weed when I got it from valet either.

Terrible service on Dec 23rd evening. Under staffed for wait staff. Waited more than 15min to get a clean plate. More than 15 min to get a 2nd bottle of water. Had to flag down waitress to get check after waiting more than 15min for someone to come to our table. Basically, ignored.
Talked with manager within first 30min but service remained sub-par the entire evening. Manager did not apologize.
Waited more than 10min between each round of meat and it often took flagging the person to get them to stop at our table. When they did stop, they were rude.
I get it. They were tired. But, this was the worst service at any Fogo (US or Brazil) that I’ve been to. The fact the nobody showed any care in the world is not acceptable. Read the other recent reviews and there is a clear pattern — under staffing, management that doesn’t put the customer first, long waits between meat courses.
Skip this place and spend your evening at a place that has management and wait staff who want to do a good job. If you do go, make sure to avoid sitting in a corner location and stand your ground when the service falls off.

Has been many times never disappoints
Great food as always but service was slow. We were seated in a corner so not as much meat came around and it was tough to get a hold of our server for drink orders, side refills, and dessert.

Everything was great, servers were very friendly, food was good
We went for Sunday lunch with visitors from overseas. Our table was next to a server station although there were many open tables. Service was disorganized and inattentive. We were brought the same cut of meat multiple times in succession and never saw some cuts. A server started to take our drinks order and wandered off on two different occasions. Some of the meat seemed tough and flavorless. Overall it was a joyless occasion. I had dined at a different Fogo de Chao location in the past and had a much nicer experience. Perhaps some of the issues were related to Covid.

Attente à l’arrivée malgré une réservation existante. Bruit phénoménal tout au long de la soirée. On se croirait dans une cantine ! Le service est cohérent avec cette description d’ailleurs… Les serveuses et serveurs ne sont pas souriants et à peine aimables. Heureusement que la viande y est délicieuse et le buffet de qualité. Si l’on fait exception de la saucisse, qui n’est pas cuite. Le rapport qualité-prix est très mauvais : le service et l’ambiance ne permettent pas de justifier un tel tarif.

The experience at FDG is always good and we knew what to expect. The service from our primary server was less than stellar though. Could be that they are understaffed, as many restaurants are. At $100 per guest, I expect better.
We had a lovely lunch yesterday at Fogo de Chao. I felt that the price for the whole experience was a bit steep and the wait staff was quick to move us along and clear plates even though the restaurant had plenty of empty tables. Other than that, the wait staff was pleasant and the bartender Saturday afternoon was phenomenal.
The food was outstanding and I would go back another time.

My husband and I decided to dine here on a whim as we were shopping at Copley. We weren’t sure what to expect at 2:30p since we had only been in several times prior for dinner. Surprisingly the experience was outstanding! The food was the same great quality we have come to expect and the service was fantastic despite being so early in the day. In a time when there’s so much uncertainty, it’s comforting to find restaurants that are still able to uphold their good service while still serving good food.
Our Server Rene was great!!! We only saw about 3 different types of meat come by though - very disappointing! My daughter found a piece of steel wire in her food. They gave a free dessert instead of taking her meal off the bill. Most like won’t be back again.

What a horrible experience. I made a 530 reservation for 3, two adults and a toddler We sat down and were greeted nicely. They put bread, bananas and potatoes on the table. I asked for a wine list and they brought it over. I ordered a bottle and got up for the salad bar. The salad bar looked as if things were old and been there for a while. The cheese was hard ect. I got back to the table and the waitress came back and told me they were out of the wine I ordered, so I picked another bottle, and began to eat. I finished half my plate and the waitress came back and told me they were out of that bottle as well, so I ordered another. By the time the bottle finally got there, I was ready to eat the meat, but the meat never came. Every ten minutes someone would give us something. But the majority of the night I sat there with an empty plate. The wine came at least, so I had that. A nice waitress noticed we were sitting with no service so she tried her best to help. She even brought the manager over. After about an hour and 15 minutes I told my wife let's get out of this place. So I paid over $200 for a bottle of wine, a sorry salad bar, and a few pieces of beef that sucked. The manager didn't even care, no wonder the place was so bad. Lead by example and ur example was pitiful just like ur restaurant.

We come in often. We like your restaurant. Last night was actually quite compared to when we usually go.
One of us ordered vodka w/cranberry. It came back seltzer water and cranberry. No big deal, things happen. We asked to send it back for the correct one and our server said she couldn’t bring it back. Kinda a principle thing. Why not? It wasn’t right. We ordered at least 6 more cocktails. We weren’t trying to cheap out.
So we paid for it anyway.
We were sitting towards the back of the restaurant so the servers didn’t come back often. Only occasionally. We spent a lot of time waiting for the meat.
Several times we asked out server to send the guys out.
The meat servers were all very polite.
I know the pandemic has hurt the restaurant business more than most but it definitely was not your standard.
