Service was absolutely amazing. Make sure you go hungry.
We had high expectations for the restaurant. Unfortunately, we found it way over priced and the food was like eating at a low priced banquet. The service was friendly.
Robert, we take pride in the experiences we offer here at Fogo de Chão, so please know that we are disappointed by your feedback. Our team hopes you decide to award us a second chance in the future, as we are certain that we can earn your complete satisfaction.
Food is always excellent. Fresh and well seasoned. Having been to many Fogo restaurants in other cities. I am least fond of Boston. Strange seating layout that always feels cramped. Service better in the other Fogos that I have been to.
Festive atmosphere with a helpful staff and good food.
I used to frequent this place before COVID and now that’s its fully back up and running, I returned only to be disappointed. All the meat was over cooked and grey. It was my daughter’s first time there and the waiter suggested a drink that she didn’t like. She took one sip and drank the water for the rest of the mea. I told the waiter she didn’t like it and they just shrugged their shoulders. I waited until the dinner service to get the pork chops. I asked my sever and multiple gauchos for the pork chop only to be told to ask someone else. In the end I was told they ran out. I went at 230 when the dinner service begins at 2pm. There is normally a manager or two walking around but I did not encounter one til after I paid the bill and asked for one on the way out.
Took my nephews in for their graduation lunch.
They had never been. It was great. They really enjoyed it.
I have been to Fogo a number of times- mostly in Boston, but also in other cities. I took a friend for his "wedding dinner" and found myself disappointed. The selection of the salad bar was much smaller, the number and selection of meat that came through was very limited. I received one particular steak that was raw, not rare- but raw. I put it on my side plate- but it was inedible.
The wait staff was friendly.
This wedding dinner should have been wonderful and memorable, and we apologize for missing the mark. We know we can do better and earn your satisfaction, so we'll be sure to send you a direct message soon. Best.
Fantastic food. Great service. Friendly staff.
I wish they have beef ribs circulating more often. Every time I come here asking for beef ribs I would have to wait a long time for it. Today we ask for beef ribs and waited 30 plus minutes and in the end we didn't wait anymore and left disappointed 😞
Great food, great experience.
We're so glad to hear you enjoyed, Jimmy. Can't wait to have you back in!
This location is wayyyyyy better then the Miami location.
We are a regular customers and we love our experience everytime we go!!
I would definitely go back
Always a good choice in Boston. Salad bar was a little underwhelming on this very busy Sat evening during college graduation season, but it didn't take away from the great steak, lamb and chicken. And the creme brulee!
The food was delicious! Service was very attentive. Save room for the tres leches dessert- UNBELIEVABLE.
Late American/early Haitian Mother’s Day celebration
The staff were amazing. I believe my servers name was Camilo, he was awesome! Very attentive and helpful. Bruna assisted and she was fun and personable in helping with my boyfriend’s birthday dinner. Thank you both so much! Loved my experience
Nice to see that experience is pretty close to pre-pandemic, with carving again done table side, and self-serving (with precaution) at the salad bar. Makes the experience that much better. Good food. Great service. Always a nice place to treat the family.
Great food and drink. Nice space for graduation family gathering. Only problem was we couldn’t sit together.
It’s been a pretty long time since my friends and I have dined together during this whole pandemic. My friend is getting married next week and we had never dined at Fogo de Chao before. From the salad bar to the fire roasted meats to the cocktails and service, everything was OUTSTANDING. The cheese bread rolls were super delicious as well as the plantains, salads, potato salad, picanha, caipirinha, and so on. My girlfriends and I had an awesome time. What made it super special were the staff. They were super duper attentive, friendly, on top of everything and made sure everyone had what they needed. I will absolutely return!
Food was delicious, as always. One of our servers was terrible, but then I guess they switched to another guy around dessert and he was great. Nice atmosphere, we’ll be back!
Reliability good! Service was great, food is as good as always. We went to celebrate my son’s graduation and they sent us a huge slide of cheesecake. Nice spot.
It was great! Thank y’all for giving American Airlines a discount 🥳
I had chosen this restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday dinner as I had seen MANY people going there along with the fact that my boyfriend's mother use to work in one of their restaurant located in Portugal. When I made the reservation I asked to be seated in a private location, when I got to the restaurant they brought me to a table which was located RIGHT at the door. Then asked for a more private table and got a table by the kitchen which was not private at all. That was my only problem, however, you can get the same exact thing at Brazilian Grill for $50 rather than $200. The staff were SUPER nice and helpful. Would definingly go back but for a more casual date rather than what I had originally planned.
It's disappointing to hear that your experience fell short, as we always want to deliver amazing moments. You deserve a pleasant night out that meets your every need, so we hope you visit us in the future, as we are sure we can deliver this.
This place was nice, and the servers were as well - first family outing since Covid - but it was so ridiculously overpriced. Unfortunately, probably won't return.
We always want your meals with us to be worth it, Rachel, and it saddens us to read you feel otherwise. We are confident we can impress you with our quality and delicious cuts, so please consider giving us another chance soon. Best.
The meat was blah, they kept bringing the same rare sirloin, the salad buffet was not impressive. They bring you mash potatoes, sweet plantains and some sort of cassava, the cassava was so hard and tasteless, the sweet plantains were old! A table of 3 and they brought us 2 tiny pieces, the mash potatoes was the only descent thing and they brought enough for one person, and they forgot to bring the cheese bread, i mentioned it to the waiter probably 30 minutes into our meal and she did apologized and brought us some. For $300 dollar tap the food was horrible!
We always want our guests to feel like their meals are worth it, and it concerns us to read you had an opposite experience. We will be in touch with you via direct message to address this matter further. Thank you.
Have been there many times before and to other locations. By far the worst experience.
Service - fair
Market table (salad bar) - missing a lot of usual higher end items. Salmon was present but on verge of spoiled.
Skewers - many usual items missing replaced with lower end items. Steak all seemed of lower quality. Filet Mignon was mostly fat. I didn’t even know that could happen. My piece of garlic sirloin couldn’t even be cut with the steak knife. Most items cooked to well done.
Fine-dining experiences is what we love to deliver, so it's disappointing to hear this was your worst experience. Our team truly hopes you choose us in the future, as we'd hate for you to stay away.
Went for mother’s day and had an overall awful experience. While there was one server that was exceptionally kind, our main waitress simply was not a good server. The guests that accompanied me told me the meat was very chewy and the rotation was poor (only served lamb once and mainly chicken + pork was brought out). I personally took the vegetarian dish (cauliflower steak) and it was nothing more than a large and slightly undercooked cauliflower with a little spice on top. While I am sure that the restaurant was extra busy because of the holiday, overall it was not an enjoyable experience. Side note, while this is not the fault of the restaurant it is extremely noisy and not a call or relaxing eating environment.
Our team is truly troubled by the experience you had, Paris, as we always want our guests to be treated to an amazing fine-dining experience. Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance, so we hope you'll allow us the chance to regain your trust in the future.
Went for Mother’s Day. It was nice to see that they were busy! Everything was fantastic!
It was difficult to get the staff attention to get sustained service as the restaurant got to its capacity
Great experience. I little noisy and was difficult getting rare lamb chops. However, they kept bringing them until we were satisfied. Service was very attentive and drinks were great.
Fantastic Experience, They have convinced me and guests its one of Boston's best restaurants
We had an amazing experience for my graduation dinner! The food was delicious, the service was incredible, it wasn’t too loud or too dark, and we overall had a great time!
Ambiance was low probably because of Covid and not being able to fill the restaurant.
I had a 7:15 reservations and was on time but my table for 6 was given to a couple “by mistake”. After waiting 20 minutes for a new table we were placed in front of an event area that began halfway through our meal and then we’re told we could move to a different table across the restaurant. Our waitress did a fine job but management dropped the ball hard which was extremely disappointing because we were celebrating a birthday and we loved the food but most likely will never return to the Boston location after our night was ruined.
We're sorry to hear we kept you waiting, as our team should always seat our guests in a prompt manner, especially during a birthday celebration. We'd love the chance to deliver you a better time, so our team will be in touch via direct message to invite you back. Best.
Great place great food! Very expensive and I could never eat my moneys worth
It was great the service was quick. Food was great.
Thank you for sharing your positive experience! We're happy you received great food and quick service.
Great food and service, though expensive a little.
