Wonderful Saturday Brunch with family celebrating an Anniversary. The Market Table was simply delicious with added Waffles, Made-to-Order Omelets and a Smoky/Sweet Bacon. And of course the full Churrasco array of meats. Service was exceptional and the dining area was beautiful and spacious. A lovely and festive dining experience!
I love the Fogo de Chao experience! It's a great place for groups and there are options for all types of eaters even vegetarians. Our server was James and he's awesome. All the staff there are so accommodating. I would visit location over and over again.
We were seated in a smaller rom so the noise level was ok. Reservation was easy through Open Table.
Wait staff was excellent. Food was very good but we liked the food at a Fogo de Chao in CA better. For example, we had a 7:00 reservation and the salad bar was pretty sparse.
The prices are quite high, so I expect excellence.
Food was good. Service was just ok.
Service was abysmal. Waited the better part of 1 hour for desert. Coffee was lukewarm. Waiter forgot the most important desert . Hostess was argumentative. You expect more for those high prices.
Food is insanely delicious and staff is very nice and attentive. It’s loud, but that is a small price to pay for such an amazing meal.
The staff at Fogo are always so helpful and accommodating. Love going there for Saturday brunch with my husband and two well-behaved toddlers. The food is amazing and the kids have a wonderful time. This new Fogo is also beautiful on the interior with plenty of light from the large windows, lovely bar area, plentiful buffet, terrific omelet and waffle station, endless delicious meat and a spacious dining room. There’s a parking garage on the same block so parking is not challenging.
The overall experience was great as always at Fogo. 3 stars for the food only because the cuts of meat were very fatty.
The food was excellent for meat eaters and the market table was a great treat for vegetarians. Service was top notch!!! Thanks for a wonderful evening!
Most of the salads and meats were very salted.
We always go to the one in Tyson's and it's ALWAYS fantastic!!! This location had horrible service and meats and salad bar were not good. So disappointed to have bday lunch ruined and to have wasted money there!!!
Birthday dinner for my sister, We had the best time, we love the food as always.
This location needs to improve on the quality of the food.
We frequent the DC location several times a year but this was our first time at their new PNR location. Today was nothing but a huge disappointment right from the start. We had barely any service at first. After the initial round of cheese puff (6 pieces for a party of 7), there were no side orders brought to the table until we were close to half way done with our meal. Their well known salad bar was suboptimal comparing to their DC location and not to mention more than half of the time, their meats came out barely warm. There were times at the beginning of our meal where we were just looking at each other waiting on the servers to bring out more meats or sides. The worst part of the evening was the fact that the dinner was for a birthday celebration and when they brought out the cake, they knowingly lit the candles with more than half of the party, four to be exact, missing. No one offered to take picture for the group knowing it was a birthday celebration. Last but not least, when the check was brought to us, we informed the waiter we had two 12 year-olds at the party who were supposed to be charged at half price, the server and probably the manager for the evening were scanning the two kids to the point the kids felt uncomfortable and said to us why were the people kept looking at them after learning they are 12. This was a complete disappointment and we cannot see ourselves ever returning to this location despite the fact that we are moco residents.
Made the reservation to celebrate my wife’s birthday...arrived a few minutes before the reservation and was seated immediately. We were quickly greeted by our server and after ordering our drinks we started the meal with the amazing salad bar. The whole experience was great as usual and we finished our meal with a slice of cheesecake. We love Fogo
This was my third time eating at this location. The staff wasn't very attentive this visit. Also, I didn't receive all the selection of meat that I paid for. I think next time I'll be going back to the Baltimore location.
Simply the best place ever!!!
Perfect evening out as the food continued to arrive. Market Table was kept clean and stocked.
So excited Fogo de Chao opened up close by in Rockville. In summary: Food and ambiance are great! Staff/service not so much. Meats - of course, excellent and gauchos will serve you any cut you want (with exception of rare) and are very attentive to walking by your table. However, this restaurant is not as upscale compared to other locations as far as service and market bar selections. Staff were confused and doing multiple things at the same time while trying to seat us and ask for our orders. Waitress was getting interrupted from other staff and engaged in talking to them while at our table explaining the menu. I expect this is due to being newly opened and staff are still getting into the swing of things. Also, long delay to get a second side of potatoes which by the time it came we were almost done eating. Again, probably just due to the hectic nature of just opening. The market bar is great and will fill you up with many higher-end ingredient selections, but it is no where close to the variety found at other locations. All in all, this is an excellent place to go for lunch and dinner, but do not expect the same market bar variety and just be a little patient while the staff get oriented in the new establishment.
We went on a Wednesday night with friends, and to say it was the worst service we’ve had was in agreement. There were only three other tables in the restaurant, so it can’t even be blamed on that. To pay $54 a person and have to ask several times for them to bring meat out and it still not be brought out is outrageous. We waited 30 minutes for chimichurri sauce as well as our sides. Our server was no where to be found, until we could see him eating in the kitchen. When he showed back up we ordered a round of drinks that took 45 minutes to arrive AFTER complaining to the manager. We complained to management and after making excuses for his staff, he says the drinks will be comped. We still wait 20 more minutes for half of the round of drinks. What makes it worse is the drinks came out completely wrong. After complaining to management again and feeling disregarded we asked for the check and left. Thanks for the complimentary wrong drinks that we didn’t even drink. It’s safe to say we will never go back.
We’ve had a wonderful evening. Christian and all the other people did everything possible to make this experience outstanding. I’d recommend first timers to try different types of meat and stick to the favorite one.
Visitor from Europe
We were there on a Sunday afternoon about 2:30. Got seated. Ordered two entry (salmon and sirloin) and two all you can eat. We also ordered some non alcoholic drinks and cocktails.
Took about 40-45 min and 5 follow up with different people to get our non alcoholic drinks and the 2 entry that we ordered.
Not sure what the issue was because for the sirloin, it was just someone coming and cut it table side for you. But it took about 40 min or so to sort that out.
We were there to celebrate for birthday but we didn’t even bother to get dessert.
I have always love this chain and go frequently in VA and whenever i travel- meat is good and cocktail is great. However, service at this new location was disappointing. Something to improve on for this location.
We loved everything at Fogo de chao, what is there not to love about it and for a first timer . Thanks for the amazing experience
It’s a high end family restaurant, very noisy with babies screaming and this was at 9pm. Food was good, you will get money’s worth. Drinks around $16 each. No dress code. You can wear sweats if you want. If you want to impress your lady on a first date or special occasion, this is not it unless she requested it. That being said it is a nice place just not what I would consider fine dining.
Disappointing! Salad bar was ok., food seemed fresh but no seafood. Meat was mediocre. You need to go in hungry for it to be worth the full Fogo experience on the menu.
My family and I had a wonderful experience. We went to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday and they did not disappoint. The service is what really makes the experience. Even my mom commented multiple times on the service and how attentive the staff was. She was so happy. Then, she tasted the food. She loved it! As long as she was happy, I was happy. Thanks Fogo for making this a memorable birthday for my mom.
It was a good experience. Celebrating 15 yo birthday. Had table of 8. Might want to reconsider pricing for teens aged 16 and under instead of 12 and under. They just can’t eat over $50 worth of meat. So for half the table, it was very expensive. We still had dessert and a fun time.
We always enjoy the food at Fogo De Chao and appreciate that the menu and salad bar are primarily gluten free!!!
It was fabulous!
Went with my family of four adults to celebrate my husbands 64th birthday. We had reservations and were seated right away The waiter explained the menu and and we all chose the Full experience. We did not order alcohol, appetizers or dessert. We went to the salad bar and tried many of the things offered. They were good but wish there was a bread or cracker for the sliced meats, cheeses. My favorite was the bacon. The servers came around the table to offer different types of meats. We tried them all during the meal and I felt they were not seasoned enough for me. The place does say that the meat is simply season so it was that. My sons who like the taste of meat enjoyed it. The wait staff was good. They made sure the servers brought us meats we still needed to try towards the end of our dinner, took away used dishes and offered fresh plates, utensils during dinner. Overall I was not impressed with the flavor of the meats, the salad bar was fine, reminded me of a cruise ship salad bar. I am in no rush to try again. But I am glad we experienced the Brazilian steakhouse way.
We’ve been here several times. Each time exceeded our expectations.
Great service, great ambience!
The salad bar was excellent, but the meats were somewhat tough. If I were going to spend $50 per person on a steak dinner, this does not compare even closely to most steakhouses, e.g. Ruth's Chris, Mortons, Capital Grille for the price. It is, however, an experience worth trying.
Seating for 2 too close together. You can hear your neighbors conversation. I wouldn't recommend for a romantic dinner but everything else was great!
I love the new location. It was my second dinning experience at this location. I will be returning
Great place. Brand new here. Very nice setting. Meat is really good.
Service was excellent and food was delicious. Much variety,
The night was a disaster! The vodka was watered down, toe Prosecco smelled like mildew, the salad bar was sparse, the meet was either fatty or extremely salty. We had to look at other people in the restaurant dressed in workout shorts dressed sloppy! Spent the night looking for our servers to get new drinks since the original was awful and sent back and the bill came to $160. I toldca manager we had a lousy meal, lousy service and bad food and they voided the check and I GLADLY LEFT. DONT GO HERE.
