The hostesses, servers, and management were very attentive and friendly. This was the best experience my father and I have had in a restaurant. We will definitely be returning.
Our service was especially bad this time. An inattentive waiter, three times we had to ask for our ginger ale and it finally came at the end of the meal. Couldn't get refills on the potatoes, asked 3 different ppl more than once and 3 times we reminded the server that we were celebrating a birthday...he did not come through. Good was good as always
We had a reservation and were not seated until 45 minutes after our reservation time. Nowhere to wait inside without being walked over. Once seated, we stated we had never been and were told nothing besides to visit the “market table”. There were multiple servers that brought drinks, bread, etc. I had a coupon directly from that restaurant’s Facebook page and was given a problem because it stated that there was no code necessary, however they always use codes. Finally was given the coupon amount off. This restaurant is highly overrated, for the price especially.
It smelled terrible in there and was overcrowded. Much worse than Fogo's in other cities in my opinion.
We have been to this location numerous times and it does not disappoint. We will be back again.
Service was incredibly slow. Choice of steak has been reduced significantly. Kept trying push lamb and pork instead of steak. This place is no longer a nice place where you would dress up to go. Guests dress like they’re going to the dive bar down the street. I don’t know what caused this location to decline so much but it’s no longer worth going. They also increased valet to $12 and they just left our car running out front with no one around.
Great dining experience. We celebrated our sons 16th Birthday here-his choice. Food was terrific and the service was great. Definitely a great place to come for a special occasion.
Overall great date night!! We booked our reservation for 7:15, valeted our car out front ($12), walked in exactly on time and were seated immediately. Although the restaurant was very busy our waitress was pleasant and attentive, the men carrying meat came around often and the meat was very good. We left the restaurant full and happy!
A year ago I had visited and enjoyed a similar style restaurant and then had heard good things about this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. Sadly I was very disappointed. The smell of what I believe to be cleaning products or bleach is strong upon walking in, we were sat right next to the silverware drawers and the kitchen opening. Between the constant silverware changes and the entry and exit from the kitchen I couldn't even concentrate. The servers were very attentive and when I asked for something they had it there as quickly as they could. The food was ok, I felt like I was in something like an upscale Golden Corral rather than a true upscale restaurant at $60+ per person.
The cocktails were ok, it didn't taste like the correct alcohol, but it could just be a different brand. However, they did take forever to get from the bar, but it was a busy night.
Overall I will just save this type of restaurant for when I am traveling as it really was not worth it for the money we spent.
I was very disappointed with my visit. We often go to Fogo and the part few times have been horrible. I am a Realtor with 1 Team in the nation and customer service is everything. My husband and I saw 2 mice near our table. Others saw it too. The manager came over as I asked our waiter. He proceeded to say, that this is happening cause it's due to rain and construction... and the city. I couldn't believe it and walked away. I said I wanted the check. I walked out before my husband as I was disgusted with the place. He only took off, my end of the food cost. I am going to complain to corporate and the health department..unacceptable. I would never commend this place again. Will not be back.
This was a birthday wish for my 16-year old. We opted for the full option because we were not offered any other option, my husband and I would have preferred the fish (we checked the website at home, there are options!). The service was painfully slow, took forever to get drinks, got our "polenta and mash potatoes" halfway through the dinner, we were never offered any condiments, the waiters were passing through like the wind. The polenta dish consisted of 1 sliver of polenta and half a small plaintain per person. A little small for a $53.95 dinner. The huge breadbasket in the middle of the table held 4 very small muffin-shaped bread pieces. We struggled with space all evening: just forget that ridiculous bread basket: it has no purpose besides stressing us with lack of space! The meat was sadly very average: the lamb was raw, not rare but raw. The only good pieces of meat were the filet mignon and the pork. The rest was bland. The servers with the meat were rude and mumbled, so we had to ask them to repeat each time. The buffet was nice however and really I would prefer choosing one meat/fish and the buffet, than enduring the whole charade ever again. And last, the toilets were untidy and we had to wait 15 mns for our car back with valet. In conclusion, overpriced and poorly managed. Disappointing.
Always a treat! Love the lamb chops and salad bar!
Group of friends decided to have a beginning of year get together. Fun times were had by all.
Been there many times. The food is absolutely amazing! The salad/meat & cheese/fruit/bread and soup bar is a meal by itself! Make sure you are hungry when you go! You may want to skip lunch before dinner!
Pleasant service. Terrific food...could always use more of the parmesan crusted pork!
I’ve been to Fogo de Chao in four different cities and the food has always been amazing. What compelled me to write this review, however, was the service. Now, the wait staff are tremendous and attentive at every location but this time, I only saw my waitress a total of 4 times and she was gone before I even finished chewing to request something. I hope it’s just a one off but the food is still A+.
Very good service and attentive
The poorest experience ever at any Fogo de Chao ! Unbelievable slow service, attendants moving in circles, limited supply and variety of meat, wrong receipt that needed rework twice.... never again Fogo Baltimore !
Couldn’t have gone better. Had a great time
Brought my son here for his 18th birthday -- the staff was so nice, and really made an effort to make the dinner special. The food was absolutely delicious, service was attentive, and this is definitely a place we'll return to the next time we have a special occasion.
I've visited several Fogo locations. The Baltimore restaurant's meats are a little less strongly flavored than some of the others, but the lower salt content is probably favored by many diners. The service is always fast and friendly. The location is convenient if you are visiting the harbor area anyway, but otherwise at lunch you must find parking because valet parking is only available at dinner.
Service is impeccable! The buffet has an absolutely amazing assortment of fresh fruits, vegetables, salads, meat and cheeses. Something for everyone including very particular palates. Highly recommend!!!
This is the place for meat lovers.
The service was very good.
The salad bar was great with fresh veg. and cheese.
Dessert was nice too.
It was great
Food was good noise level was very loud could not hear waiter, was stuck in a corner felt ignored
The overall food was good as usual. We service this time around was terrible. We arrived at 6, ordered a drink but then was about to be seated so the bartender said, just let the waiter know and they’ll bring the drinks over. We told him immediately, didn’t check in until about 20 mints later about the drinks. When we said no we assumed he would bring them over right away.. but another 20 minutes went by, no drinks. I had to finally track down a manager/staff to let them know that we had been waiting almost 40 minutes for our first round of drinks. No apologies or compensation!
Fast seating. Good service. Food was great. Will return.
This place is top notch! We have been to one other location, and this one did not disappoint. We went away to Baltimore for my husbands 30th and came here for dinner on a Saturday around 4 PM. We got right in, seated, and immediately started eating. Our wait staff was wonderful, as well as what I think was the manager going around asking if people had special requests. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We even got a complimentary dessert because it was his birthday. The dessert was more than generous being a huge piece of cheesecake with a ton of strawberry topping on it and Happy Birthday written around the plate. We will absolutely go back and highly recommend.
In addition to the outstanding food, the staff's attention to my Portuguese-speaking friend was exceptional.
Poor value. There are several top sirloin guys, and plenty of chicken and pork, but the guy with filet only comes to your table infrequently. The beef short rib guy only came by once. If you want a good steak, you’re better off going to a good steak house.
The place is what you expect, good Brazilian churrascaria. Been here a number of times, just wish they’d do something with the way the place smells when you enter. It’s not the great smell of meat, smells more like a toilet that’s just been cleaned.
Amazing and fast service. Everyone was very friendly. Well seasoned and cooked to your liking food.
I have been multiple time and the last few times, the service has gone down. However this last time the service was completely horrible. I have never been treated so bad. Took over 30 min to get the check after I asked for it. I was charged for things I didn’t order. I will never go back.
I have been to the restaurant before and my experience was great! HOWEVER, I had a small party and sat in the front part of the restaurant. This time I had big party, was seated in the back, service was horrible with serving of the different types of meat. Some of the meats never made it to our table, I made a request, it was NEVER FULFILLED. The closer it got to “closing time” The servers just disappeared, our reservation was at 8:15pm and we were on time, around 9:15pm service got very-limited. I will say the MANAGER was AWESOME!!!!! And I will go again!
A bit of advice.... Go for lunch or early evening, SIT IN THE FRONT, near the salad bar area. STAY AWAY FROM THE BACK TABLES.
Needs more choices, I only had a select few items that I like
Typically great, but extremely subpar. We go to Fogo at least once every other month. This time was to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and not only did they not acknowledge that (listed it as part of our reservation as well as told the hostess) but the service was horrific. I strictly eat pichana and had told our server that at the beginning when placing my drink order. I went up to the salad bar, and waited 10+ minutes before the pichana arrived. Once i was finished my first plate I went back for another (i do small portions but go up frequently). I arrived back at the table and my dirty plate had not been cleared. (Now this was a busy Friday night, so my trip up to the salad bar took longer than normal) Having no where to put my plate, I held it until someone finally came over to clear it (2+ minutes later). Then I had to ask 2 different gauchos to bring me pichana, in which I waited another 10-15 minutes. No manager walked around to our table, otherwise I absolutely would’ve let them know how unacceptable this was. This was no restaurant week special, or any reason why when asked for only 1 cut I would have to wait an excessive amount of time. For 55 dollars a person there are many other places I’d gladly take my business if this is the quality service they give for a special occasion. (This hasn’t been the only time I’ve received subpar service here, yet I continue to give them other chances. Not this time).
It was great and the wait staff was very attentive
Took my staff there for lunch. Ordered spring water and got a sprite so that was odd otherwise a perfectly nice lunch.
