Be extra early if you’re gonna do valet, you never know if you’ll get turned away. We lost our time slot because we had to find parking after they turned us away; which in turn made us lose our time slot. Other than that the food was good, the experience was good. A little slow with bringing your beverage orders. Good nonetheless.
The Father's Day holiday attracted a full house and a long wait, but the staff handled it well and with courtesy. The traditional Brazilian offerings were served quickly and quality was not diminished. The crush led to a shortage of other entrees, but we were given a credit for the absence of vegetarian options. The bar prepared the Brazilian specialty drink very well.
The food is top notch and the service is excellent . It’s expensive if your not big eaters.
Love the experience!! Food was amazing and the service was spot on!! Can’t wait for a return visit!!
Over priced and terrible. Never again.
Adam, we never want you to leave disappointed, so please accept our sincerest apologies. We'd love the chance to regain your trust, so when you are ready, stop by again.
Wonderful food and great management. We had fun and ate a lot!
Very good service. It was friendly and timely. They were attentive to our needs.
My girlfriend and I attended to celebrate our birthday.
Our first visit post-pandemic. The food is still mostly good with some over cooked or under seasoned pieces. The service in the dining room was slow or they'd forget requests entirely. The service at the bar was excellent.
Amazing experience, great place for celebration with family and friends
I checked in at the bar waiting for the rest of our party the bar mate was great lol drinks were exceptionally good then checked in for dinner the waitress was good I loved it great night great memories I’ll be back
The service was really good the food was also good but a little bit salty
We were seated promptly at 5 PM, and service remained attentive through the evening. We went with the buffet and Brazilian side table , which provided an all-you-can eat meal for $31. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies, salads, smoked salmon, charcuterie, and black beans with sausage on rice as a main. A few items were strangely unseasoned, the roasted eggplant, whipped ricotta , and the feta with watermelon, I think they were just lacking salt. Everything else was quite tasty, and we had a delightful full-filling evening.
Overall with a good dining experience. After a year in the house, it was good to celebrate my husband‘s birthday out. This is his favorite restaurant
awesome experience! got it before the dinner rush. food was superb and the service was first rate.
Overall great experience. Went with family before an O's game. Arrived 5:50 pm and were on the way to the O's by 6:45 pm. the family style format is great for a fast good food experience. Wait staff was excellent. Half priced wine helped too.
The A/C was very cold. My family were not enjoying as much as before. The meats selection were very limited!
We always want to meet or exceed your high hopes, so it's disheartening to learn that we let you down. It's our sincere hope that you'll consider giving us another chance to provide you with a wonderful experience in the future.
I think the food was pretty mediocre for the price we paid. I was expecting to be blown away, I was not. I had to ask four separate people for our first drink order. FOUR! And of the “sixteen” different meats they boasted about, we were continuously offered the same four. Pretty underwhelming.
You should not have to ask so many times to receive your drinks, and we are sorry for falling below your expectations. Our team would like to make this right, so we will be in touch via direct message. Warm Regards.
We dined at this location on 6/5/21 at 6pm. Also, I’m a DC native. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Fogo de Chao restaurant. The noise level was unbearably high. People weren’t wearing masks at the salad bar, nor sanitizing their hands prior to touching the utensils though a sanitizing station was present at the salad bar. I even watched a grown man sniffle, wipe his nose with his bare hand, then grab the utensils on the salad bar. It took over 40 minutes to receive our cocktails. Also, it seemed like the focus for meats was on large parties dining in the back of the restaurant-or there was a meat shortage. We continued to get offered the same 4 meats: sausage, Parmesan crusted pork, chicken breasts, & chicken drumsticks. Three different waiters asked us if we would like a particular meat. We’d tell them what we’d like to have and would never receive it until after being seated for 1hr 20 minutes-despite being asked multiple times if the meat came out and if we’re still waiting. It was frustrating and a really disappointing experience. At one point, my guest and I sat with clean plates in front of us for 30 minutes waiting for different meats we asked for. We ran out of sides, and no one replenished them. The meat was not well-seasoned at all, like the Fogo in DC or it’s competition, Chima, in Virginia (near Tysons Corner). The beef was bland! I was so disappointed until I just wanted to leave. I didn’t even get full! The best part of my dining experience at the Fogo in Baltimore was the can of Coke that I ordered. The Coke was the only thing that was consistent & did not disappoint. If you want better service, well-seasoned meats, & more of a selection of meat, go to the Fogo de Chao in DC, or go to Chima Brazilian Steakhouse near Tyson’s Corner. This is my 2nd time dining at the Fogo de Chao in Baltimore and both times have been a disappointment! I feel I should get a partial refund. I won’t be going back to the Baltimore establishment.
We are truly disappointed to read that our team delivered such an experience, as we understand how vital attentive and thorough service is. Please know your satisfaction is important, and we welcome you to return in the future for a better experience.
I loved everything about my fogo de chao experience! The food was simply amazing! My friend and I went on a girls date there and it was breath taking. Wonderful ambiance, fresh food. I couldn’t have been more happy. I can’t wait to go back
If you go on any sort or holiday, make sure you are prepared to wait. The food was tasty but the service was severely lacking.
I used to love Fogo de Chao but the experience has gone down significantly over the years. The dining room is overpacked with tables. The service is poor as well. Difficult for certain cuts of meats to be brought over to my table. Just a mess. No interest in returning unless it's solely for happy hour.
We are sorry to hear that your experience wasn't as great as you've experienced, as you deserve the Fogo de Chão experience every time. Our team truly hopes you choose us in the future, as we are sure we can earn your 5-stars.
We haven’t been to Fogo in over a year because of COVID and we were very excited to get back. We made reservations and it didn’t take long for us to get seated. The noise level was high, and with everyone wearing masks it was very hard to hear and understand the staff. The Market Bar choices have decreased significantly, and the “wear your mask” policy was not equally enforced. We are fully vaccinated and we weren’t told that we had to wear our mask at the salad bar. We were spoken to quite harshly by a staff member because we weren’t wearing our masks so we put them on. However, I watched the same man walk by several others at the salad bar who also didn’t have masks on. We were there for about two hours total. Most of the good meats only came to our table once. The circulation wasn’t super and service was slow. We always celebrate our special occasions here but I will think twice before booking in Baltimore again.
Samantha, we are disappointed to hear of such an experience, as we want our guests to receive attentive service and enjoy their meals. Please know we appreciate your feedback and sincerely hope you don't allow this to keep you from visiting us again for a five-star experience.
The food was good. However, the place was so cold, I was shivering with a sweater on. Most of the meat was cold because it was so cold in there. There is minimal room for people walking so I got hit in the face with balloons and someone’s jacket. We were in a room towards the back of the restaurant. The walk to the buffet and bathroom was an adventure, almost not worth going to. Once we got the bill, we saw they attempted to charge me for a drink I already paid for separately. For a $200 meal, Ruth’s Chris across the street would’ve been a better idea. They did provide valet, which was nice. Except you had to request your vehicle 20 minutes prior and we still stood outside for 15 minutes waiting.
The food was good all meat was fresh...Will be returning
Very loud. Not very impressed with salad bar selection. I had better. Service was OK.
This is meat lovers paradise! Great variety and quality cuts of meat. This a favorite spot for my eldest grandsons and come here for both of their HS Graduations.
We enjoyed hosting my husbands Birthday Dinner there! The staff made the night PERFECT!
Like an slightly improved Golden Corral
This is disappointing to hear, as we should always be delivering wonderful experiences. Our team hopes you award us a second chance in the future.
The greeters at the front were rude, unkind, and the opposite of welcoming. The food was ok, nothing special. The waiters were great.
Delivering you wonderful experiences with friendly and attentive service is important, so it's disappointing to hear we missed the mark. Our team would like to make this up to you, so we will be in touch via direct message. Warm Regards.
Great restaurant, amazing food, waiters were super friendly and helpful, it was our anniversary and they offered us desert on the house which was nice, resonable price for what you get and the type of restaurant it is, definitely recommend! Very happy
Thank you so much, Jennifer! We greatly appreciate the support and your recommendation. Hope to serve you again soon. Cheers!
Everything is great. The food, drink, service, and atmosphere is what makes this my favorite restaurant
Celebrated first half marathon
Damn! Most importantly, the staff was stellar. The cost is high but the food is excellent. Meats galore! Salad bar was great. Desserts sealed the deal - delicious. We will return. Did I mention the staff was exceptional. There for your every need. Checked in on our table often to go get that skewer of meat you really wanted.
We initially had a bad experience here some time back so, we were not sure what to expect this time. Let me say.. We were shocked at the quick pace of service and how attentive the servers and managers were this time around. Completely different experience from our first visit, we loved it! Food was exceptional, the vibe was great and everyone seemed to be having a great time around us! Will definitely be returning!
We always want to deliver you experiences you love, so we apologize for not meeting your expectations this time, especially during a celebration. Please visit us again, as we are sure we can earn your complete satisfaction.
Food was awesome ... Service was great .. Will be back soon
My mother enjoyed her experience and we all had a great time celebrating her birthday.
The service is subpar compared to those in DC, Bethesda, and Tysons. You pay $60 for all you can eat and the servers seldom come by to offer you anything. Waited 45 mins into our meal to get bread and mashed potatoes. I go to the other Fogo De Chao locations often and every time without fail I walk away disappointed when leaving the Baltimore location. I might as well go to Golden Coral. I will not be returning to this location ever again.
Nicole, it's disheartening to learn that we fell short of your expectations, as we always want to deliver fantastic experiences. We will be in touch via direct message, as we'd like to discuss this further. Best.
