Tonight's dinner was a marvelous dining experience. The service is always top-notch, management as well. Everyone aims to please at Fogo de Chao.
Great food and service at Fogo again! Alfonso was the best gaucho- took excellent care of us.
Service was great and the food was delicious! Can't wait to go back!
Overall decent food and service.
First and last visit, just ok, meats dry, service very good
Delicious food and outstanding service. We had a great time and will definitely go back.
So glad restaurant week was extended. Made it more affordable as I was treating 6 young people for a birthday. First time for all of them and they loved it! Lamb was exceptional. Service was great. Salad bar had a great variety. Wine selection wonderful.
We had a birthday dinner at Fogo. The waiter informed us that it was restaurant week and we got to choose if we wanted the full churrascaria dinner for $56 (they raised their prices!) or the RW for $35. The difference was the churrascaria included ribeye, filet mignon, and lamb chops; while RW did not include those cuts but everything else (top and bottom sirloin, sausage, picanha, ribs, etc) AND dessert. We chose to go with the churrascaria since we wanted the premium meats. We were served all the meats shared between churrascaria and RW, but it wasn’t until asking multiple times and until the very very end that we received just the filet mignon. By then we were already full off the abundance of standard meats they served us. We asked for the ribeye and lamb chops as well (multiple times) but did not receive it. We spoke to the manager and he gave us 10% off our churrascaria meal, but experience wise it was like we paid almost full dinner price for a restaurant week menu WITHOUT dessert.
Outside our bad experience with customer service - the food was just not as good as it used to be. The meat was not as flavorful, sides were average, bread was still delicious but smaller pieces, and the salad bar was just ok.
Fogo used to be a go to for any special occasion with friends and family, but after this experience I will likely not be returning :(.
Food was warm not hot. Asked for butter. By the time we got it, the cheese bread was cold. Took 20 minutes just to get 2 diet Cokes! 2 locations in 3 weeks with bad experiences. What's going on!?
We came for restaurant week and it was surprisingly good. The meats were good the service was prompt as well as our seating. The disarray experienced was only at the host stand but things got better once we got to our table. The salad bar was pretty sparse with a lot of fruit flies around (understandable, but still gross) and the hot bar was satisfying as well.
The main problem I had was that as soon as we sat down and the waiter came to the table and explained the restaurant to us and we went to the salad bar they gave our table away. The manager came to assist and ended up taking $7 off the bill.
Fogo de Chao is an Awesome dining experience. The full buffet is fresh and delicious.
Love the food. The seasoning on all the meats is excellent. Great place for a group of friends to come together and enjoy the lively atmosphere. If you love meat, this the place to come. I definitely will return many more times in the future.
We went to Fogo during Baltimore Restaurant Week. We have been many other times. My only complaint is that it seemed as if we were not given the same attention because we were Restaurant Week customers. Difficult to get our sides refilled. We had to wait until other tables received theirs and then they would bring what was left on the tray to our table! No issues with the gentlemen who served their delicious meat choices. It still is one of my favorite places, but I was disappointed in our overall service.
Meats weren’t as good as I remembered but still pretty good.
Unfortunately, we went during Restaurant Week. No where does it say that everyone at the table must either get the Restaurant Week special or the full churrasco meat selection. Some at our table of 6 wanted the full menu where some wanted the special but it need up getting the special because those that wanted to spend the extra $20 couldn’t. The service was awful compared to previous experiences. He waited more than 45 minutes and being asked my at least 5 people if we needed anything before we say any lamb at all. One server told us that none of the lamb was part of our options when lamb steak and leg of lamb were clearly on the sheet.
In addition, the men’s restroom was filthy. We have been several times but will not be back again!
Again it was an amazing experience
Very good food and very good service
I took my daughter here for her 23rd birthday and they took extra special care of us. She was truly impressed with the service and attention of the staff. I really appreciate you guys a lot. Everything was just perfect, thank you !
Service and food were exceptional. Noise level was high and just too many people running around.
Absolutely amazing! Food was delicious as always, the place was electric and energetic! We had a great time celebrating at FoGo and would do it all again!
To noisy, some of the meat was grisly and under cooked.
As a person who would like welldone meat it was very hard to get welldone. If you like rare or medium cooked meat you are in luck but if you like your meat well find another place dont waste your money.
This was my first experience and I dined alone. The wait staff was very attentive. The atmosphere was very chill. The quality of the food was awesome. I would definitely make a return visit.
It was a crowded Restaurant Week evening, so maybe not typical? Arrive hungry and be patient to wait for the cuts of meat you prefer. Food was good, service attentive but trying to upsell on the prix fix menu. Not sure I would go at full price.
Went for restaurant week. Food was amazing and servers were very attentive.
I went during Restaurant Week so my experience could have been atypical. The restaurant was packed, the staff hurried. Food offerings came quickly with presenters offering little by description. The noise was overwhelming. Some of the patrons were seriously under dressed- undershirts, cut up pants, etc. and, yes, I am an older patron. It took at least ten minutes to get the drink I ordered and it was not made properly. I sent it back and the replacement was no better. I did enjoy the first course.
Delicious! The servers catered to our preferred meats! It was delightful
Outstanding service and quality! The Fogo team goes above and beyond when it comes to take care of its customers.
Dinner was great as expected. Can’t wait to go back!
There to celebrate my birthday. Was delicious as always
Everything was excellent. I am going back, really appreciate
My husband and I went for restaurant week and had a 5 pm reservation. The first off putting thing we noticed when we arrived was a sour smell that permeated the whole restaurant. It smelled like a sour sponge or wash rag. It was very unappetizing to be met with this smell. Once we were seated in a far corner we went to the salad bar which was very nicely displayed as well as the soup and rice and beans station. We do thoroughly enjoy the Brazilian cheese bread that is available non-stop at the table as well as the mashed potatoes and plantain. Once I turned my green card over, it seemed like it took forever for the meats to come to our table even though all the tables around us were getting serviced. Maybe because we were I a corner. When we did finally get our meat, it wasn't super amazing. We did get our included dessert to go which was nice that we were allowed to do this since we were so full from our meal. Once the meat started circulating the room, the sour smell was basically gone, but every now and then you'd get a whiff of it. Makes me wonder how clean and sanitary their cleaning and disinfecting of the premises is?
Great food and service. Great selection and value for restaurant week!
Service was great food good.
Waiter was great and very attentive
Disappointing; we looked forward to a special lunch with our family - 3 kids and parents to only be disappointed at so many levels - unlike previous visits. The restaurant week menu was offered to us - along with the brunch and explained that restaurant week was limited - so we opted with the brunch. As we are enjoying the brunch, we notice that none of the items "identified a extra" were being served - lamb, filet etc. We were then told that restaurant week didn't apply. Poor training/communication. Only then, after being seated for 1hour + did other items come out, as we are finishing up. basic things like bread not offered or ever brought. extra napkins when kids dropped/spilled - water was so slow. the quality of the experience was so disappointing that i can't imagine justifying the expense again. we really enjoy the variety but not for the poor customer service, lack of training and missing menu... :(
Service was lacking. Good food!
