Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - Baltimore
Fogo de Chão is an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse (Churrascaria) that has been setting the standard in Brazil for the past 36 years. In addition to the main dishes, enjoy our gourmet Market Table, authentic Brazilian side dishes, and award-winning wine list. Way too expensive for what it is... I got the full experience package and I wasn't offered the prime cuts or lamb. Almost 80$... Texas de Brazil is totally better. Especially with the VIP card
Good meats but very VERY loud, salad bar needed to be refreshed otherwise if you like meat, all good.
Good good great service
Great energy surrounds this location. Staff bringing food and cleaning up throughout the meal was wonderful. Very attentive. Expensive for the amount I eat, but for a special occasion it was acceptable.
Always a positive experience. Consistently good food and service.
This was our first time at Fogo de Chão. I took my daughter and we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. Leida was wonderful and attended to all of our needs. Somehow we managed to save room for dessert. We can’t wait to go again!
The servers were great. Very attentive and kind. However, the servers bringing the meat around were a little rude and abrupt.
Excellent, friendly service with a smile. Food was outstanding. Always a good experience
We came in and while we understood it was restaurant week we opted to not participate and do a full service. This was with great disappointment. We were never offered lamb or filet. We kept being offered top sirloin , bottom sirloin, ribs , chicken and sausage. We have been here several times and we were very disappointed this time. We paid full price for what we could have gotten for much less if we had chosen to just to the restaurant week. We feel that we were taken advantage of and we are not sure that we will be returning to this location.
We always have a pleasant experience at Fogo De Chao, the food is always awesome and plentiful and the servers, wait staff and bartenders are exceptional.
Worst dining experience , drinks came when almost done with our dinner after numerous follow up, food was nothing spectacular, would have enjoyed a steak dinner at any chop houses in the area. Our first and definitely our last one.
EXCELLENT! Make sure you are hungry!
One of the best Brazilian restaurants I have been to!!
Fogo de Chao is a staple for us whenever we're in Baltimore. The Market Table is fantastic and the meats and drinks never disappoint us. Great staff and a wonderful experience consistently.
Meat quality was sub-par this time and such a disappointment!! I have been a fan for years and the selection during Restaurant Month was very poor. I even apologized to my guests!
I was disappointed for a few reasons...I had shared the importance of our not being in the line of traffic/middle lane due to my PTSD. Unfortunately, it was ignored as that's exactly where our table was located. I understand the restaurant is all-a-buzz yet there were other tables in the back which easily fitted our group of 6.
In addition, we specifically requested the cheesecake with fruit topping for Shannon's birthday. Instead, we were served chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream.
Last but not least, in order to receive my Veteran/military discount, I had to mention it twice.
Meat was delicious but not great service and overpriced.
So much food. All of the food was good. I enjoyed eating food I never have in the past. The servers were pleasant. Good elbow room. The noise level increased about an hour in but settled down. I highly recommend Fogo de Chao.
I took my son here because he loves great food and an unlimited amount of it seemed like a great choice!!
The salad bar was wonderful, full of fresh vegetables, fruits and all kinds of salads . The meat selections were plentiful , but not to my liking . Our waiter was really personable and attentive!,
Amazing food and all my fiancee and i got was the meats. Majority of them were very good. Her and i went during lunch but was still very good. Plus the service was fast and when you wanted more meat all you had to do was flip a card over then they came over with the meats. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place for a special occasion
First, the hours of operation should have been updated. I made a reservation based on the hours of operation. I received a call about an hour later telling me that the restaurant would be closing early due to some cleaning, so I had to stress out with revamping all of my plans for the evening to accommodate the 2 hour earlier reservation change. Finally arriving, we get seated in the noisiest section available. I asked if we can move our seat to a quieter area, the young lady said sure, she would return to assist us. She never ever came back. So my guest and I had to either yell to hear each other or reach over our tables to be heard. This was my guests first time, and it just wasn’t meeting the expectations of the ambiance that I have always enjoyed and that I spoke so highly of to my guest.
The waiting are awesome very friendly! Very much impressed!
We had to ask for the sides. Twice. Our waiter was never around. If you are a table of two, you are ignored.
Tonight's dinner was a marvelous dining experience. The service is always top-notch, management as well. Everyone aims to please at Fogo de Chao.
Great food and service at Fogo again! Alfonso was the best gaucho- took excellent care of us.
If you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before it's worth checking out for the experience.
Service was great and the food was delicious! Can't wait to go back!
Overall decent food and service.
First and last visit, just ok, meats dry, service very good
Delicious food and outstanding service. We had a great time and will definitely go back.
So glad restaurant week was extended. Made it more affordable as I was treating 6 young people for a birthday. First time for all of them and they loved it! Lamb was exceptional. Service was great. Salad bar had a great variety. Wine selection wonderful.
We had a birthday dinner at Fogo. The waiter informed us that it was restaurant week and we got to choose if we wanted the full churrascaria dinner for $56 (they raised their prices!) or the RW for $35. The difference was the churrascaria included ribeye, filet mignon, and lamb chops; while RW did not include those cuts but everything else (top and bottom sirloin, sausage, picanha, ribs, etc) AND dessert. We chose to go with the churrascaria since we wanted the premium meats. We were served all the meats shared between churrascaria and RW, but it wasn’t until asking multiple times and until the very very end that we received just the filet mignon. By then we were already full off the abundance of standard meats they served us. We asked for the ribeye and lamb chops as well (multiple times) but did not receive it. We spoke to the manager and he gave us 10% off our churrascaria meal, but experience wise it was like we paid almost full dinner price for a restaurant week menu WITHOUT dessert.
Outside our bad experience with customer service - the food was just not as good as it used to be. The meat was not as flavorful, sides were average, bread was still delicious but smaller pieces, and the salad bar was just ok.
Fogo used to be a go to for any special occasion with friends and family, but after this experience I will likely not be returning :(.
Food was warm not hot. Asked for butter. By the time we got it, the cheese bread was cold. Took 20 minutes just to get 2 diet Cokes! 2 locations in 3 weeks with bad experiences. What's going on!?
We came for restaurant week and it was surprisingly good. The meats were good the service was prompt as well as our seating. The disarray experienced was only at the host stand but things got better once we got to our table. The salad bar was pretty sparse with a lot of fruit flies around (understandable, but still gross) and the hot bar was satisfying as well.
The main problem I had was that as soon as we sat down and the waiter came to the table and explained the restaurant to us and we went to the salad bar they gave our table away. The manager came to assist and ended up taking $7 off the bill.
Fogo de Chao is an Awesome dining experience. The full buffet is fresh and delicious.
Love the food. The seasoning on all the meats is excellent. Great place for a group of friends to come together and enjoy the lively atmosphere. If you love meat, this the place to come. I definitely will return many more times in the future.
We went to Fogo during Baltimore Restaurant Week. We have been many other times. My only complaint is that it seemed as if we were not given the same attention because we were Restaurant Week customers. Difficult to get our sides refilled. We had to wait until other tables received theirs and then they would bring what was left on the tray to our table! No issues with the gentlemen who served their delicious meat choices. It still is one of my favorite places, but I was disappointed in our overall service.
