The food was very tasty but service was on the slow side. Normally the server are very attentive but this experience we had to keep asking them for items. My water glass had a crack in it when I showed the waitress she apologized and than took 15mins to return with another glass of water. This was very unusual for this restaurant
No complaints except that the food was too good
It was very good
My daughter turned 13 on Monday and chose Fogo for her special dinner. Service was horrible. Gauchos took forever to bring meat over. Our waiters rarely came to our table. They took forever to take our dessert order. We were expecting the waiter to sing to our daughter as they sung to other guests. We waited over 15 minutes for our bill to be cashed out. I was ready to leave. Needless to say we spent $400 for shoddy service and just OK food, the cuts we preferred were never available and when we requested they weren’t brought to our table.
Not our best FoGo experience. Spent almost $400 and had to ask multiple times for a dairy free menu for one of our guests and multiple times to get the kind of steak we wanted. And then getting our check was a nightmare. Took 30 minutes to get a check. The bulk of our party left because it was simply too long to wait. They ran out of bacon and had not refilled for almost the entirety of our two hour stay. For this pricing I would expect a higher level of attentiveness and service.
We had an amazing experience at Fogo de Chao Baltimore...food and service excellent
Very friendly staff...our table was never unattended..bussers, severs, gauchos and even the manager on duty were constantly checking on us . The waiting area and the restrooms very clean.
We will definitely come back !
Excellent meal. Service was good. Took awhile to get us our drinks and the waiting area left a lot to be desired. Ended up being fairly crowded in the lobby with people standing. But the food was on point.
Visiting my son
Caution, do not follow direction from this app to Fogo de Chao! Valet was nice and very professional. I'm ambience was very relaxing but the table were too close together, we could near our neighbors conversation. The food was excellent, but we had to wait 45 minutes to receive our check. Then we received the wrong credit card back! The IHOP next door had better service then this place!
Very good. Not cheap. Go during lunch. Very attentive wait staff.
The Baltimore location left much to be desired. Food was average, had to request gauchos to bring meat several times. Service overall was subpar and not inline with previous visits to other locations. I would probably not return to this location.
We normally love Fogo on Sunday, though this time we were seating towards the rear of the restaurant and had a hard time getting the meat portions over to us. At one point we sat there for 10 minutes waiting as staff members would come close and then turn around and go another way. One time we had our green card turned over and the staff member went by so fast he didn't' even look. Still a great place, just may need to look at how the food is moved around.
The feijoada was the highlight but could have had a little more meat to be authentic Brazilian.
Overall it was a good experience that was slightly overpriced
Fogo is always a neat experience and a worthwhile value. Aside from somewhat inconsistent service from a server who eventually ended her shift without notifying us, or even handing us over to a colleague to be closed out, the meal made for an overall good dining experience.
We were very disappointed with our recent visit. We took our 13 yr old grandaughter for her bday, as this is her favorite place. We had extremely slow service, sometimes waiting more than ten minutes at a time for one of the “meat guys” to arrive. We waited over 15 min for more mashed potatoes, and had to repeatedly request almost everything. After finally speaking to the manager, we received the prompt service we had expected, but by then it was too late. Hope it was just an “off” night.
Excellent service staff, great selection of meat cuts and options for vegetarians.
Excelente servicio de todo el personal especial mente al gerente Dalton Texeira
This was an impromptu visit for a Saturday dinner. The Fogo fare was very good - Filet and both Top and Bottom Round was good this time around. The Gauchos did a great job in making sure our plates were full and delivered special requests promptly. However, the wait staff was slow in doing everything else. This included refills of drinks and water as well as rolls and sides. Our waiter appeared when we were seated but then he or his assistant hardly showed up. This was our problem last time and it appears that this has not improved. Coordination of their team system has something to be desired. At the bottom line - be prepared for a relaxing and sometimes very slow dinner experience.
Great food, nice atmosphere. Good place for special occasions.
Food was exceptional (as usual) but everything was pretty lackluster. We waited a while (10mins) plus for drinks and mashed potatoes etc. The drinks weren’t that great either...we ordered house margaritas and they tasted like pure alcohol. When I’m expecting that then it’s not an issue. But when I’m expecting tangy tart and get rubbing alcohol? That’s not so good. This is the 3rd location I’ve been to in the area and it was the “worst” experience. I would go again just to see if they were having a bad day or something, but other than that I’d stick to the Vienna or DC locations.
It is a great place, good quality of meat. The big problem is that reservations do not work on this restaurant. I made a reservation and they took 25 minutes to find us a table anyway
Love it.. one of my favorite place to go in Baltimore
Disappointed that restaurant did not participate in restaurant week they it's end. Meat servers did not circulate often enough.
The food and service are great. We went on a Saturday night - it was crowded & loud, but still a nice experience!
Love the experience, the meat was flavorful and the cold bar and variety.
We always have a fantastic time! Can’t beat the food!
Great food but service was slow.
Impressive salad bar. Lunch is a bargain, service is outstanding, and the food quality is a cut above.
Great food, wonderful service. Went for the first time on the last day of restaurant week. Had a great night.
Excellent service and meal as always!
Food was great, but the service was lackluster. Our table was skipped often even though our cards were green. We had to ask for items such as drink refills multiple times. This hasn't always been my experience, but for a meal that expensive, good service is important. Overall the food was outstanding, but the servers could do a better job of coming to reach table and not just particular ones.
Our experience was somewhat unpleasant. I requested not to be seated where there was a lot of traffic (at the outer tables). However, I was pretty much told that was my only option (the other tables needed to be cleaned, even though I said I could wait). We were also seated near the front of the restaurant which made me freezing cold because I could feel the cold air every time the door was opened (on an evening that it was about 20 degrees)! I was also disappointed in the frequency of the meat rotation. We basically had to ask our waitress/server to send them to our table with selections. Usually we can't eat fast enough because they come so often. That was NOT the case this time. I have to say the last few times I have come to this location it has been "disappointing" to say the least.
The only positive thing I can say is the wait staff is always professional and always do the best they can to make the experience pleasurable. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, our server immediately sent the manager to our table. She offered complimentary desserts, but we didn't need desserts, we were celebrating a birthday and had our own cake.
Very nice experience, food was great! Visited during final weekend of restaurant week so it was busy. Only problem was that we had a reservation for 8:45 pm for two and was forgotten because they accidentally had us for 4. We weren’t seated until about 9:15-9:20.
Food was great. It took almost 40 minutes to get the check after we asked aside from that service was good.
Went during restaurant week bad idea...meats were dry and not very flavorful...drink was only refilled onc.... cheesecake wasnt very good this time either as it usually is...i recommemd that during restaurant week more employees be available to help with the rush usually my experience is very good here
The food is wonderful, service is friendly but a bit slow, but definitely worth it. I wish they would consider opening up more locations, because unless you pay for valet parking, which is convenient, finding somewhere to park is challenging, and I want one closer to me. I will definitely be making the long trip again.
Unfortunately I do not think that Fogo was prepared to handle so many guests for restaraunt week.
It was loud and very busy. We had to wait 45 minutes from our reservation. They encouraged us to grab a drink at the bar. Took 25 minutes to get a drink.
Our waitress was wonderful and tended to our needs including adjusting drinks from bar. Sampling drinks and kindness
At the end of the night we had to wait another half hour due to the registers being too busy.
As a first timer at Fogo I do not strongly recommend. However it is probably calmer when it is not restaurant week.
Though we had a reservation, we still had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. The food quality was good, but I definitely don’t think it was worth the price.
