A very unique and different experience. It’s not an everyday dine-in restaurant but great for special occasions. The staff was great and food was up to par.
We arrived a little before 9pm and the atmosphere was still a bit noisy for our taste. By 9:45 the restaurant started to clear and 10pm was when the ambiance really felt right.
Outstanding food and great service.
The food and service was Amazing!
Gr8 time we both loved it, we told them it was our anniversary and they gave us a free desert of our choice, then customized it to say “Happy Anniversary” in chocolate letters. Felt special for sure! :)
Have had better experiences in the past, service was a bit sporadic, gauchos stopped serving for a while, broke the rhythm of our dining experience.
For a moment or two, there was no staff making the rounds around the tables. Strange sensation of leaving the few tables that were occupied completely alone.
It was our family's first time and it was absolutely perfect! We couldn't ask for a better dining experience. We will definitely be returning!
Disappointed in the variety of meat. We were offered sirloin in several different cuts. Had to ask for something different. On a website once we came back home it says tenderloin, ribeye, prime rib........ Alwo offered only 2 sides, potatoes or plantains. Not worth 60.00 per person. Will not be coming back.
Excellent as always. Staff are professional, prompt, polite & informative. Food is awesome with a huge fresh variety.
Excellent venue for our part of 11. Casual atmosphere with excellent food and service.
Made Rez for nye and ended up leaving because two servers that were in charge of cutting the meat were rude. One snapped at my sister for not understanding when to use her tongs and the other took his meat knife and clacked it against my tongs when I didn’t understand him. Crazy.
Top of the line food and service
Service was great. Meat eaters were not impressed with quality but presentation was nice. Salad bar and soup was good.
We had a great time for our first visit to Fogo de Chao. It was a great place to spend my husbands birthday and the staff was very attentive.
An experience unlike any other! Food was definitely super heavy (could only go a few times a year)
Service and food was excellent as usual. Wait and management staff were very attentive.
The quality of meat here is much better than in other locations. Lamb and pork are excellent.
This was my fourth time dining at Fogo, but the first time on a major holiday. The food was impeccable, the service fantastic, and I was absolutely blown away by the crispy cheese with honey.
They separated our families, even after I called twice and was assured both times we would be seated together.
We been Costumers and Make our Christmas Eve dinner at Fogo at different locations every year, this time everything was off!!
My main comment is that only mashed potatoes were offered as a hot side, all other veggies cold. Way overpriced for quality of meal. Service mediocre, seemed like not enough food was available for the size of the overall crowd.
Every year we go to Fogo de Chao Austin for our Christmas Eve Dinner. We look forward to this event every year and anticipate how yummy it is going to be weeks in advance. This year the ambience and service was great as usual. We always love the amazing salad bar. However, the meat options were at an all time low, with several attempts to provide chicken wings and sausage. We always love the parmesan crusted sirloin or the medallions and they never were served after several requests. I am not sure the value of the meal served and the flat rate cost of over $50 was worth it this time. I would go back for the salad bar only and skip the skewers!
This is an absolutely AMAZING restaurant. Eating here isn’t just a meal - it’s an experience. This was my second visit, but my husbands first. We were celebrating his birthday. He was overjoyed at the variety of meats AND the experience of being able try so many different dishes. We will be back again and we WILL recommend those restaurant to others.
Without anyone at the table ordering, chefs began to come around serving different types of meats. Assuming we all wanted what was called the “experience”. It all felt rushed, and people who wanted to try different plates weren’t able to because the waiter pretty much decided everyone’s meal. Although the food tasted great, the whole serving process was very unorganized and rushed. Not the best experience..
My son said "Best Dinner EVER!" First class experience--thank you!
Fuimos muy bien atendidos por los meseros
Nos tomamos fotos con las espadas y dieron muy voluntariosos
We were a table of 8 enjoying a holiday lunch. Because of the season, there were several large tables that kept the gauchos running. The food was amazing.
Service was great, however, the food has been declining in quality and variety based on my last couple visits.
Such wonderful friendly and attentive employees!!
Not a great experience. I hadn't been to a Fogo de Chao in years. I brought my team during our quarterly meeting. Not sure what I was expecting, but I was pretty disappointed. Ambiance was lacking and somewhat cheap looking. Meat was significantly under-cooked. Most cuts came out VERY rare. Too rare for most of us. Our requests for water refills went unanswered. Very disappointing.
I have been various times to Fogo in Dallas and it’s always been a wonderful experience. On the day we dined at the Austin restaurant there was only one bartender which is poor planning from management. In addition there were various large parties so it took one hour to actually get an alcoholic beverage. In addition they seemed to be shortstaffed so the meat was not coming around as quickly as it normally does. Also there seemed to be less variety than what I’m used to from the one in Dallas. Given the price and the service I would not done there again.
Great food and service. I took my staff their while in town for a conference. They loved it.
Well, food was delicious but the service was terrible. I made reservations for our 9 year anniversary and we were completely forgotten about all night.
I called to say we’d be a few minutes late and was told that was no problem at all. I arrive and check in and there was no “welcome in tonight!” or “thank you for joining us”-both hostesses just looked down at table. I explained I called earlier and one spoke in Spanish to the other about my lateness-yea, I understand Spanish, but fine-I let it go.
We specifically took an Uber to celebrate, however no one EVER came to take my drink order, but fine-I let it go.
Our sides never arrived to the table-we were 3 rounds in on the meats and I had to flag someone down and ask. Finally, 30 minutes later, they arrive.
Several people passed out table for a good 20 minutes as we sat there, clearly done, but we continued to get ignored.
I finally ask for the check and we are clearly not the priority. The check comes and I’m asked if we ever received anything (since it was our anniversary)-no. No one seemed to care or let us know anything was coming, so we left.
For $140, last nights service was pathetic.
We celebrated my daughter’s college graduation with lots of family. Food was great, service was great, and it was very easy to please everyone’s palette. They even specially charred a piece of meat for my extremely picky father.... who clearly has faulty taste buds. Lol
I believe they should take pointers from the SA restaurant. I have never had to chase down a drink refill or side refill... That was my only issue for the entire night.
We had an Amazing Thanksgiving experience. Food was amazing and totally worth every penny.
Our server was top notch. The manager came by a few times, asking if she needed to send anything else out for us. She was very pleasant. Food was good as usual. The rest of the serving team was very attentive, polite but not intrusive. The gauchos made a point to ask if we needed meats at certain temps.
Service was sporadic that evening. One of the waiter came by with a plate of cheese to serve with I believe honey. I asked what kind of cheese it was, he said Parm. The server very politely waited till he was away to inform us that it was mozzarella. Some of our favorite cuts of meat were a little tough. Our meal was the all inclusive pricing, we had to asked a few times for the ribs to be brought out. And they didn't bring out a rack and slice it in front of you, but a few pieces on a plate and dropped a couple for us. I understand not wanting to waste food, but I felt like we were paying to "beg" for food.
The salad bar was fresh and delicious and the meat was amazing. It was very expensive for what we ate and drank but I would go back.
