Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - Atlanta Ratings and Reviews
The food was very delicious. The desert, hot molten cake, which cost extra, was to die for! We were a party of 13, with a reservation and were seated almost immediately. Plus, our hostess was AMAZING!!! However, I thought the bar cocktails didn’t taste that great. And I thought the total cost, including meal, deserts and drinks, was a bit pricey.
Fogo The Chao has normally been a top favorite of mine, however that changed this past Valentine’s Day. I understand that Valentines is especially busy, but the service was extremely poor. We had made a reservation as we knew it would be busy. However we STILL ended up having to wait 45min. to get seated.
After getting seated we waited FORTY MINUTES, before anyone came around with choices of various meat. We had to ask a few times if they had forgotten us and if anyone was coming to serve us, as we had already finished one plate from the buffet and would have liked to have had some meat to go along with it.
They had placed us in a section in the corner of the restaurant and it seemed they completely and constantly forgot about our section and when they came, they barely had any meat on their spears and it was always cold. To sum it all up it was a real disappointment. I MIGHT give them another chance but NEVER on a special occasion evening. I would expect a restaurant of their caliber to be well prepared for a crowd, on one of the busiest nights of the year, but sadly they weren’t. A real letdown!!
Fogo De Chao delivers once again! The service, food and restaurant were superb! This our anniversary spot and return every year. We plan to do so as long as it remains A-1. Valentine's Day is our anniversary and my birthday, so this has always been the perfect place to kickoff our activities. We enjoyed dining in the new opened up window area...you could view the live action of the kitchen. Fascinating!! This year, I mostly chose my options from the market table as I had been on a vegan diet. The beef ribs and filet mignon are my favorite meat selections. The lamb was just as delightful. If you go on a holiday of any kind, be prepared to wait a few moments. Well done Fogo De Chao!!
Celebrating a birthday with my hubby...unfortunately was jam packed on a Saturday evening at 6. The noise level was pretty loud. Drinks were strong but enjoyable, the food on the other hand i felt did not justify the price tag. Our table was only offered two of the same cuts of meat all night. Kinda disappointing...
This was our first visit to Fogo after eating at at least three other Brazilian steakhouses. Two of our three servers were very friendly. The highlight of the market table was the smoked salmon. I also thoroughly enjoyed the bacon-wrapped filet and the bread. The other food items were just okay. I highly recommend the chocolate mouse cake if you have any room left for dessert.
We reserved a party of 6 at 8pm. We had to wait 30min to be situated but the wait was so worth it. Everything was so delicious especially the steak, my favorite was the pork rib and the house special sirloin. The lamb was phenomenal as well. Everyone loved the experience and we’ll definitely come back!
This is the fourth city I have visited a Fogo de Chao and it was a tremendous dining experience I have come to expect from Fogo. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was completely top of the line. The team of servers were always attentive and never missed a chance to check in and make sure I was doing well. I have always left Fogo restaurants being very impressed and this was no exception. My highest compliments to this restaurant’s great staff.
Love the food here. My only complaint is that wasn't even 50 degrees outside and it was probably warmer outside than in the restaurant. I guess they forgot to turn the heat on. I felt like I was going to get frostbite when I went to the restroom which was even colder than the rest of the restaurant. Overall it's a great spot, but I may have to limit my Winter outings there to later in the day (we arrived when they first opened), hopefully the heat is on by then.
This location is hands down the best Fogo de Chao location in the country. I have eaten at the Puerto Rico, Boston, and Miami locations and love the service that I get at the Buckhead location in Atlanta. From the service to the ambiance, I highly recommend this restaurant to others.
