    Our visit was an amazing experience, to say the least. The service and food were top notch, this was hands down the best brunch I ever experienced. Everything from the juicy cuts of meat to the well-crafted cocktails left us in awe. This alone, was worth the 4hr drive from El Paso, TX. Myself, my partner and cousin were absolutely blown away with Foga De Chão and can’t wait to go again!

    Samantha who served me well with a courteous demeanor at all times not only made me feel like I was being attended to, but would carry plates of the other servers as well with her. As someone who comes to Albuquerque from as far as Midland Tx to work on my art pieces it was a nice treat to eat somewhere to relax. I’ll be back. Thank you Sam.

    It was just bad timing. We got there during shift change and there wasn’t much meat coming out. The best cut of meat that came out was sirloin. No filet or no rib eye was offered during our time there. Oh well maybe next time.

    Waiter was wonderful. Service was terrible. I had ordered filet and was told it could only be on the experience. Ok. I had just sat down with the salad when someone came buy with meat. I obviously wasn’t ready and had not turned over the card to request any meat. Servers with meat kept coming by and the card was still not turned over. When I did ask for meat, it took 50 minutes to bring any filet. In the meantime, my husband had eaten his entree and sat waiting for my food to arrive. Drinks and dessert were great. We will not be going back. Some friends had brunch the previous Sunday with a similar issue. They also are not returning. This is not the restaurant it has been.

    We have been many time this was the first time it was a disappointment. Staff was the cC team not like the A plus we had in the past. Food was good and plentiful but we did have to wait over hour for some of our favorites to be available. Much of the staff was new and unfamiliar with options. Food was not up to the usual high quality we have come to expect. We will give it one more try for dinner before writing it off.

    We had to hunt people down for drink refills, bread,salt. nobody came by to check on us other than the meat servers. Might have been short staffed.

    This was a wine tasting dinner that happened to fall on the eve of my birthday. There were four courses with wines and a dessert with coffee. The event began at 7, and we as well as some of the other couples began with a drink at the bar before the meal. This added up to a lot of alcohol, too much for me to finish the wines. As is always the case here, there was lots of food. And it was mostly excellent. The event began with some speeches about what was going to happen and a short film. The first charcuterie was winding up at 8. Before each course there was a speech about the wine and another about the food. Although interesting information, the talks served to draw the experience out past 10 pm. The process with the checks took another 15 to 20 minutes. Normally a three hour plus dinner would include live music. A wine tasting dinner. The gaps between courses sometimes include the winemaker saying a few words, usually injecting humor. I do not mean to be picky about this dinner. The meats were very good, as is the usual case with this place. The final meat course was supposed to have wagyu New York steak on a heated salt block. It looked exactly like the $150 wagyu ribeye on the salt block. But it was my least favorite of the meats. I think maybe wagyu meat is just too fatty for me. As a professional party and event planner, I am extra sensitive to timing and service, to music and the overall experience. Had I planned it, there would have been dinner appropriate music. While the short movie was playing, the wine and charcuterie would have been served. Wine remarks would have been kept to under three minutes per course. The payment could have been processed while waiting to seat us. Or pre-pay. I offer all this mainly in case the restaurant manager reads the reviews. This was a good experience that could have been elevated by a few simple changes as to the details and timing.

    We were celebrating a delayed Valentines dinner. Food was excellent. Some items on the salad bar should have been replenished but over all a good variety and selection. The meats were superb. I can’t complement the staff enough. Very attentive.

    Spent over 150 dollars for chicken, sausage and some steaks that are over done. Had dined before, but this was the worst experience to date with gauchos not paying any attention to our table. We had dined there in the past. Spend your money elsewhere, not worth the experience. Hostess said one thing, but lied when we got our bill.

    Expensive for a mediocre salad bar that was barely stocked and for a meat rotation that we didn't get through the full rotation because they didn't have meat cooked. Water was filled once. Horrible way to spend a special occasion and extremely overpriced for what we received. Very disappointing. When we asked to speak to a manager and waited 20 minutes we were told he was on an important phone call at 9:00 PM.

    Our experience was not the best. This was our second time dining here and each time the service was subpar. Our waitress was new and seemed a little overwhelmed. She took our initial order and disappeared for quite sometime while someone else delivered our water and rolls. We had to flag her down to take our drink order which was well into our meal service. We finished eating before we received our drinks which then we felt rushed when she delivered the drinks and asked if we wanted our checks. Bottom line is we didn’t have the night we were expecting for my wife’s birthday and will not be dining there again anytime soon.

    Both meat and table service were very bad. This is in contrast to our first visit which was great. Not sure if we'll be back; there are other choices out there.

    The waiter and valet parking were the best… waiter was super nice and helped thought the whole night, the food was just ok, the lamb was the only “meat” that made me remember, the rest of the meats we just ok at best, they had no flavor, the salads were ok too, nothing special… and the sad part was the lady upfront, when you get to a place like that you want to encounter a friendly personality, a happy person, somebody that makes you feel welcome, she was far from that, my reservation was for 7:30 and I got there at about 7:25 and she tells me you are going to have to wait because you are too early and your reservation is at 7:30 with an unpleasant attitude… all she had to say was ok I have checked you in, your table will be ready on time, not make me feel like because I was “early” I had to wait now… you need a first good impression, she should not receive customers, you want someone happy…

    We had a reservation at 8pm and were not sat until 8:45pm. Servers seemed to want to help every other table but ours and anytime we asked for help we were told to wait and that someone else would help us, which never happened. I had ordered a glass of wine at the beginning of the meal and it never came, even after multiple attempts to get waitstaff to correct the issue. We spoke with one of the managers and they offered us a free dessert, which was greatly appreciated. However, it took almost another 45 minutes to get that as well. We understood that because it was Valentine’s Day it was busy, however, I think the restaurant over booked reservations that they simply could not accommodate. The food was very good but the experience was pretty off putting. We weren’t able to leave until after 11pm, which also added frustration to the situation. We won’t be returning.

    Clearly they booked too many people for valentines day reservations. Our waitress was overwhelmed. We expected the food to be much better than it was (just alright). We probably won't go back.

    If you are new to Fogo de Chão, you will be kind of lost. The server gives you a quick run through and it helps, but during a holiday it seemed slammed. Probably 40 people cramming in the door for a seat and you could tell the employees were working hard. Still gave exceptional service. Would go again, but probably on a slower day.

    Initially we waited while standing in the restaurant for our reservations to be announced. There is a small waiting area but the rest of us did in front of the reservation desk. That could be better organized. The staff did their best to seat everyone asap. They were polite. Since we are older (70s), we appreciated being seated in a back area where it was quiet so we could hear each other better. Our servers were all helpful and polite, especially of main quiet, Diego. He was great. Explained the procedure to us, since this was our first time there. We enjoyed the variety of meats, the little rolls, the mashed potatoes etc. The Desserts were delicious. We loved the variety of vegetables etc. on the buffet. It was a very enjoyable way to spend our Valentine's dinner. We will return. Thank you.

    In all fairness, we went valentine weekend, ( Saturday) parking was crazy. Even with the reservation we waited 40 minutes. The salad bar was depleted of the popular items. The waiter brought our mashed potatoes.at the time he asked for our dessert order. I think a different day would have been better. In the end they were catching up. I believe it was just the timing. We will be back

    Food has been disappointing the last few times. Steak is not hot or too well-done. Servers often skipping over tables and not being attentive. Value has gone downhill.

    It was great! We celebrated our 6 year Marriage anniversary. We got a seat that was by the window with a hand written note saying “Happy anniversary” that was so sweet. The host was sweet & our servers were sweet the whole experience. The food was very good. I especially liked the Brazilian lemonade it’s refreshing & creamy! We will be back!     Some of the food is fantastic, but those skewers are hard to come by - 3 requests minimum. Server was cut in the middle of our meal, the service took a huge turn down when he was sent home. When desert finally came out I got a plated cake but no silver for it, eventually got a bus boy to hook me up. I’ve never had a server cut mid meal before - it just was the wrong move. They have team service but the server was the only one that ever checked in and kept things on pace.

    This was my third visit to this location and all things considered, I’ve been consistently underwhelmed. Our last visit was just over a year ago, and my hubby wanted to give it another try for his birthday. While the food is good, there seems to always be issues with the timing for the meat rotation where there are long periods of no meat service and then a bunch of things all at once. This time, though, we had to actually ask our main server if she could send some of the meat service our way as it had been a rather long time since anyone had come near our table with anything. It did get better after that, so kudos to our server for resolving that issue. Another issue is the amount of times they bring around the same meat versus the variety of different meats that are supposed to be included in the full experience. The last time, one of the servers brought the same cut of meat to our table five times in a row. After the second time we kept declining it but kept our cards on green because we wanted to try some of the OTHER meats, and he was visibly annoyed. This time it wasn’t as bad. One of the meats was offered three times, but not in a row, and we had a chance to try more of a variety of different things before getting completely full. Also, if you are particular about how you like your beef cooked, you don’t get to choose a temperature with the full experience- you get what they bring you, when they bring it. I don’t like my meat dripping with blood, but my hubby likes his medium rare. The first time we came a lot of the beef was dripping with blood rare. I would ask if they had a particular cut that was more on the medium well side and would be told yes, they’d bring it, only to never see it. Since then, I just take it or leave it. The other issue we had this time is that my hubby ordered a plain cheesecake for his birthday dessert and it took an extremely long time to come to the table. For the price, there are better dining experiences in town.

    Our table for our reservation was 30 minutes late, Our server disappeared half way through our meal and never made it back, we ordered some cocktails and they never made it; our waitress brought us a wine sample and never brought the wine after we ordered a glass! Food was great, service was less than mediocre and definitely not a fine dining experience!
