Great service and food!! Using Open Table for my reservation made it all too easy!
So disappointed, had family from out of town and wanted some good seafood. The hamburger was dry, salmon overdone and the lobster was mushy and tasteless. Way overpriced for the
quality. The best thing was the fried scallop appitizer. Won't recommend this restaurant.
Was delicious, great view, and great staff! Would go back for sure.
Service was morbid unfortunately. Server appeared to be more into himself than taking care of his guests and that was based on 2 other tables we spoke to after our dinner also. Food was good but not great (mash potato was more clumped potato with barely any mashing and my partner's steak was dry). Clearing paying for the location so if that's why you're there then fine but if you enjoy food then go off the beaten track. Host was friendly, efficient and accommodating though.
Food was very fresh and the flavors tasted on point. Service was exceptional. I will be dining here again the next time I'm in town again.
A little pricey but you get what you paid for
We had a great experience w a group of 6 from Richmond va
Allison is The Who served us. Everyone was friendly except the girl at the front desk who seemed to be irritated with her job, gladly she wasn’t our server. Kinda sucks that we can’t validate parking by the pier39z overall great experience will come back for the mussel fries and Cioppino
This was a great restaurant. Great food, great ambiance, definitely worth going to when visiting San Fran. Waiter seemed too busy to really be classified as good, we ended up having a couple of different waiters in the end. Can’t complain tho, was a great night out. Very enjoyable.
Excellent service all three times we ate there!
Delicious food and a wonderful view.
Fantastic, as usual. Eat here each time we make our annual trip to SF. View, food, staff are all exceptional.
Food was great. I came to celebrate my birthday with Fog Harbor and made a note about it. However, not one person mentioned it, so that was a little disappointing.
Good Food Nice restaurant wonderful location good Service
The basil strawberry nojito was great! Food was yummy, minus the salmon was a bit over cooked. We especially liked the sourdough rolls and clam chowder. Waiter was a little dour in his demeanor; could try to be friendlier. We loved the fireplace waiting area, which was a comfortable spot for drying off the rain.
Our view was spectacular
Beautiful restaurant, great service and exceptional view. Food was delicious!
Wanted a nice evening out but felt rushed especially when our food came out so fast that the vegetables were undercooked. The fish was very bland so seasoning had to be added. I would recommend the clam chowder this was good, however don’t waste your time on the bread bowl just get a regular bowl with the crab on top. Waiter brought bread to the table with two rolls and there were three of us. I could say more but I’ll end there. Overall what appears to be a nice restaurant it is just overrated.
Our server was timely and efficient. The food was served hot and very good.
Not bad food, but way over priced. Would expect much better for what we paid. Paid bit less at way nicer place and much better seafood in Reno.
This restaurant is in an excellent location on pier 39 with excellent views over the bay and Alcatraz. The food portions are very big. An appetizer was the same size as a main course in the UK. The menu did not explain the food properly for example fried scallops to me doesn't mean deep fat fried but that's how they came. Prices were reasonable though.
Food was great and service as well
Lived up to the good reviews we had read. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day for a bowl of chowder for lunch. My husband rated it the best he'd ever had. Very conveniently located to our hotel as well.
Our server Amy was amazing and food was priced right and soooo good .
Food was good, but nothing exceptional.
We were hoping for a table by the glass wall, but did not get that lucky and sat in a booth.
Considering everything, The special aspect of this restaurant is the location and view, but only if you get the right seating. Without the water view seating by the glass wall, the rest is like many other restaurants in that area.
The service staff is very friendly and good. They take good care of the guests.
Loved the clam chowder and apple crisp to share at the end of our meal. Glad we went early so we could get a window seat.
Went for our anniversary dinner on Wednesday night and everything was so great we came back for lunch on Friday before we caught our flight out of town. 5 stars across the board... will be back in the future
Great food and great service. Throuroughly enjoy the experience!
Excellent birthday dinner. Recommend making a reservations as it helps get best seating along the windows. Was able to eat good seafood while watching the sun set!
Awesome service and got seated in a timely manner. The seafood is fresh and delicious. Recommend the clam chowder. Wide selection of wine, craft beers, and delicious cocktails. Beautiful ambiance with great view of the bay.
We had a great time. Food was wonderful & the atmosphere was perfect. We had the best server, Curtis. He was attentive & had a good personality. He made the meal even more enjoyable. We can't wait to go back!!
The food was delicious and so was the view. The Pier 39 sea lions can be seen from the windows. The waitress was exceptional. Very accommodating to my food allergies.
A must visit restaurant
Have a wonderful waiter, I think his name was Wayne. Was treated very special for my birthday. Food was very good and tasty cocktails. Would definitely visit again.
Delicious seafood. The cioppino had lots of flavor and good crab, clams, shrimp, and mussels. The linguine and clams had a great sauce, garlicky and delicious. The cocktails were great! Loved the hibiscus margarita! Beautiful view!
It was my 18th Anniversary ! And we had a great food, amazing customer service! So valuable ! Thanks Fog Harbor Fish House 🤗🤗
Had a reservation waited 20 minutes only to be seated in a high traffic doorway. Across the room, there was a table open next to a window, which was requested in my reservation. We requested to move, initially told it was reserved, I argued that we also had reservations and after some checking, we were allowed to move. From here our experience improved. Server was knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. Service, from everyone, was on point. Food was excellent! Enjoyed the sunset over the Bay for my birthday as planned. Would have given 5 stars if the hostess had been on top of our reservation and requested seating.
Went here for a late Valentine’s Dinner date with my wife. Ambience and views were great from our table. Clean and comfortable. The food was great! Mussel fries were amazing! Probably the freshest mussels that I have ever tasted. Not rubbery and you can tell they were never frozen! The bread was awesome and the clam chowder was the BEST! Perfect balance of richness and clam. The risotto was great but got too rich for me towards the end. It probably could’ve used less butter or cream or some other lighter sauce or additional crab meat to cut the richness. The lazy ciopinno was excellent as well. Our only complaint was it took 30 mins for the mussel fries to be served. But at least the server recognized that it had taken too long so she took it out of the bill. And it was worth the wait anyway! So kudos for the server’s sensitivity. Overall, we will definitely go back and we recommend it to people who really want to experience San Francisco food! Top 3 seafood restaurant in SF in my opinion!
We were greeted promptly and gave our order.
Our drinks were delivered (beer & Bloody Mary) after about 10 minutes. Another 10 minutes passed and our chowders arrived with our Entre. By the time we finished our chowder, our entre was cool. Maybe our friendly server had too Much area to cover?
Lunch w co-workers visiting SF for a conference and wanted some fresh seafood. I was a little worried since it was at Pier 49 in heart of tourism but it did not disappoint in any way. Delicious clam chaowder in a sour dough bowl topped w fresh crab and overlooking the water. Great restaurant!
Nice elegant atmosphere, great views, and great food! Would definitely come back.
