Sad they are closed now
Legit my favorite restaurant. I come here for every anniversary, birthday, special occasion , you name it. The food and the service is always amazing. No complaints. I’m really going to miss this place.
Flyte has been consistently superior -- food, service, ambience, and people -- in the 4 years we have lived in Nashville and dined at all the best restaurants. I am truly sorry to see it go!
Family in town to eat at Flyte one last time before their last service on June 22nd. Didn’t want to miss it.
Best meal in Nashville in a long time. Please re-locate your talented chef and service team in Franklin. Your closing is a loss for foodies.
We are very sorry this restaurant is closing. It has been one of our favorites for years.
Jason was superb. Going to miss this place.
We went because it’s been on our list to go and then we heard that they’re closing. So sad.
Food was delicious! I enjoyed everything I ate! Restaurant was pretty empty so it was quiet.
Good food and service and occupied large parties. We had a good table in back with the kitchen. Nice organized kitchen staff.
Very empty and not a fun atmosphere
Everything was fantastic!
Because of the size of our group we were placed in a back area next to the kitchen. From there you couldn’t appreciate the decor and it was loud... would love to go back with a smaller group and be in the main dining area. That said, the food was terrific!
Excellent food, and great ambience. Service overall was fabulous, although our specific waiter was a bit inattentive. He also seemed put off by our selection since they didn’t match his recommendations. Flyte is one of our favorite places to dine, but we will probably look for another option, or at least, a different server.
Excellent food, great wine flight and creative menu. Service was great also, highly recommend
The food was unique and delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive. It had been a while since I had dined at Flyte. It will not be as long before my next visit.
We have posted several reviews of this place because we attend as frequently as possible. We may sound as shareholders of this restaurant because we can only praise their people, food and ambience. We are not, however. It is simply that every time we go the quality is excellent, there are surprises in the menu and we feel treated like royalty. Not to be missed if you are up for haute cuisine in Nashville!
Not an array of options, but the food was amazing. Was $$$. I really liked the interior and design. Was classic, moody, and quiet.
The ambiance is different, somewhat like a warehouse, but for some reason it works; very comfortable. Good food and service.
It is an amazing restaurant. I would recommend to anyone.
Tried out Flyte for the first time and it was true to the other reviewers opinions. The service was on the slow side starting off the experience which was disappointing since there wasn’t but a very few diners, our waitress was on top of things and apologized, but unfortunately our orders were not timely. Once arrived at our table though they were great in flavor and creative, which saved the experience overall. I would recommend this restaurant to those wanting a fancier date night but not pressed for time.
The service was prompt and the food was good.
Food and drinks and service were excellent. Table viewing the kitchen was excellent. We were a little loud and they were very nice ab it
Not a large menu, so not many options. Food was a little overpriced for the amount that was served. Overall, it was okay but doubt we go back.
They always have fabulous food and service. The food is creative and beautifully plated.
To put it succinctly- great everything. Will @ the bar takes his cocktails seriously and we are the beneficiaries!
Great experience - good food, cocktails and ambiance. Our server was outstanding.
This was the best meal I had in a very long time. I liked it so well I went back and personally thanked the cooks. I eat out a lot and I was very impressed with the combination of flavors. I feel restaurants usually give you to much to eat and I thought this was a nice portion. I would go back again. You won't be disappointed.
It was an amazing experience
Means well, it was just rather forgettable. A decent backup if the best ones are taken. Everyone was kind.
Awesome night!! The BEST meal I’ve ever had in Nashville!!!!
Food and service was wonderful
I loved the feel of the restaurant and the overall service was great, and we don’t mind paying for expensive food, but we felt like for over $20 per plate, we definitely weren’t served enough. The experience would’ve been 10/10 if we’d just had bigger portions.
First time at Flyte and the experience was top notch from the service to the food. Service was very attentive, but not overbearing. The food was exceptional; very tasty and fresh and the menu offered a variety of items from seafood, chicken, pork and beef. The wine list and cocktails are sure to please! Of course who doesn’t need dessert, a great selection of sweets. Overall a great experience and looking forward to going back as the menu changes daily.
Wonderful birthday/date night celebration!
Wonderful evening. Food was great. Service was excellent. Wine recommendations were great. Our keys were lost (we valeted) but the staff jumped on it immediately and we did not have to wait long.
The food was good but the portions were comically small. My “cheese cake” was maybe the size of a half dollar - total. It was the same shape too. AND IT WAS $10! Not happy about that. If the waitress would have told me that I could finish the cheesecake in two bites, no way I would’ve ordered it for $10. And the sizes of the “sides” were like that too. The food was good but I felt ripped off by the tiny portions. It literally was laughable. But good tasting food.
It was amazing and the food was so great! I would totally recommend this to anyone!!
We went for Valentine’s Day. There was a 4 course menu with a few options of each course. My husband had the beef braciola, the tomato sauce tasted like jarred sauce. We had seen great reviews on Open Table and were looking forward to a great dinner while in town. I wish our experience was better given all the great choices in Nashville.
$85/person 4 course dinner plus $40 wine pairings(2 ounces with each course). Server wanted to take order for all 4 courses right away. I told him that we did not want to be rushed through the meal. He told us that the tables were reserved again and had to be ready. We were given 5-10 minutes between courses. Tables remained empty even as we left. None of the food was bad. None was particularly good. The wine pairing and food plates were put on the table with no reminder as to what each was. The decor was nice and the noise level low. All in all a disappointing experience.
A former textile factory , Flyte is a very large space and tables are very well spaced Food quality is x
