FLYTE was amazing! The only thing better than the service was the food. The wine flights were great and the farm-to-table meal was fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit already! What a great find in Nashville!!!
The food is so creatively prepared and always delicious. The service is excellent . You must save room for dessert. Talk about a experience like e others The softball chocolate is out of this world
Great unique menu. Delicious food and amazing cocktails. We enjoyed harp Thursday.
We go to Flyte everytime we can because as stated in previous reviews, we consider it the best restaurant in Nashville. If you are a Nashvillian and never went, you are missing out on the gem of the restaurant scene of your vibrant town. If you will be a tourist in Nashville and Flyte is not in your "to do" list, you will also miss out. There are several "high cuisine" restaurants in Nashville but we consider Flyte the best because of the combination of quality of its food (creative artistry), people (hosts for a wonderful experience), ambience (nice decor, not noisy) and most importantly value (less expensive than other restaurants in the same category of quality despite being the best). On this occasion, we ran a little experiment. Rather than the conventional dinner (one appetizer and one entree each) we tried six of their 9 appetizers (many of which were new in their ever changing menu) and shared an entree. OMG!!, we had just gone to the Nashville Symphony and this was like having another six-movement symphony, this time of flavors rather than sound. No wonder some of the hosts are artists (musicians or painters) in their non-restaurant lives, since this transpires in their restaurant lives too. Do not miss it under any circumstances!!
Outstanding creativity, presentation, flavors and service.
The gazpacho, pork chop and corvina were all delicious as were the bourbon parfait and peanut butter cup! Service was wonderful! Run, don't walk to FLYTE! You won't be disappointed.
Loved Flyte! We wanted to go out to a restaurant we had never been to and this turned out to be great! The food was excellent and our waiter and the manager were very attentive! We will be back!
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary this past weekend at Flyte and it was a fantastic experience. The manager called two hours before the reservation and asked if we had any food allergies and if we would like some complimentary champagne. He also asked if my wife preferred a chocolate or fruit dessert. Our server was great and we loved our scallops and side of potatoes. The bread and dessert were also yummy. My wife enjoyed a glass of wine and later a gin cocktail. I had a beer from their outstanding craft beer list. Valet parking was icing on the cake. Well done!
cool, location nice innovative food....good apps and fantastic wine
Food was delicious and creative! Many interesting options. The desserts were the best we have ever had! Also pleased with appetizers and entrees. Service was good as well. A bit dark to see menu font. Will definitely return and recommend to others.
Dinner for two to celebrate my birthday, and it was a great choice. Relaxing ambiance, uniquely prepared food, extensive wine list. We were each welcomed by a complimentary glass of champagne for my birthday. Nice evening!
All the food was great. The staff were very nice and always there when we needed anything. The food was excellent especially the Chocolate Panna Cotta
Our dinners were delicious. Tasty filet mignon and best salmon ever.
Great food and service. Our entire meal was outstanding from start to finish.
We went to Flyte for their happy hour. They have some great drink specials, and we ordered everything on their lounge menu. We also ordered several things from the regular menu. It was all phenomenal, and the service was great!
Looking for a restaurant Nashville that served sweetbreads, Flyte came up in a search. Although the current menu didn't feature them, the manager Mark responded to an email inquiry with an offer to have his chef, Chris, prepare ris de veau for my sister and her daughter and me. They knocked it out of the park, also preparing asparagus with hollandaise and a classic caesar salad. The French pressed coffee and deserts were perfect.
This place deserves Michelin recognition.
Great food, grudging service. Not up to Flyte standards.
We haven’t been to Flyte for around 4 years. We are so happy we did. The food was excellent and the duck with the sauce was perfect. My wife had seafood and was equally happy with the meal.
The service was also excellent. Our server, Scott, was very attentive and had great backup.
It was a terrific evening and I would highly recommend flyte.
We all really liked FLYTE! Had a great time and wonderful meal, everyone was so accommodating.
My husband I were celebrating our anniversary. It’s our 1st visit to Nashville. Took an Uber to Flyte and loved the atmosphere...we happened to be there on Harp Thursday. Gifted harp player providing music. Food amazing. Dessert amazing and wine amazing! The chef started as a master pastry chef and then mastered the savory food craft. We would definitely go back!
I am so impressed with this restaurant. We went for my birthday and I was treated so special, as I always do. The staff spends time talking to us which I love. I recommend this restaurant for any time as the food is fabulous, and especially on special occasions.
The food was wonderful and the service as well. We had the chicken and the pork chop; both were very good. The beet appetizer was delicious, big enough for 2. The cocktails were great, not too sweet. Kevin was attentive and helpful all the way through.
We had a fantastic dining experience at Flyte on a recent trip!
I was able to work closely with manager Mark to create a custom dining experience with a tasting menu.
Mark & Chef were quite accommodating and asked questions to make sure they created a menu that appealed to our palette but was also inventive and unexpected. They added in a wine pairing to each course and made excellent choices.
Among our favorite tastes: a starter of "hot chicken" popcorn, the deviled eggs (yes! the local bacon garnish was an absolute delight), and a dehydrated scallop garnish, and a beautifully made gnudi with a light Italian sausage meatball.
A great experience, well worth the visit!
We had the most amazing experience at this restaurant. We began at the bar and the bartenders were professional and experienced. We encountered Ashley whom we had a prior experience with at lunch that same day! She recognized us and engaged in conversation. She was pretty awesome in many ways! Next to the dining room where the exceptional menu was presented. It was creative and delicious. Hats off to the Chef. Our server was attentive and helpful. The food and presentation were superb. We liked the ambiance of the dining room. This was just a fabulous overall experience for our last night in Nashville.
We went to Flyte for a nice Bachelorette Party dinner, and everyone was extremely pleased! The bride-to-be is vegan, and they had plenty of options for her. She was extremely satisfied with the vegan meatloaf. All the other girls were also very pleased with their choices. Their was one girl that wanted to substitute potatoes for brussel sprouts, and they said that she was not able to. We worked it out, but I would say that was the only thing that didn't go "our way". If we ever come back to Nashville, we will definitely be coming back to Flyte!
Service and food were top notch. Everything we ordered was unique and delicious.
The service and food was top notch, I highly suggest eating at Flyte!!!
What a great dinner we had!! Nectaria, our waitress was the best. Her recommendations, timing and overall service was excellent. We were only enjoying our experience and her and the staff took care of the rest.
Great. We enjoyed it!
Great server! Table was near kitchen and it was awesome!
Great dining experience for my guests and myself. First class service from the reservation confirmation to payment. Recommend for business dinner or a quiet meal away from home.
We have reviewed this place several times because we go every time we can. Best restaurant in Nashville. Cannot be missed. Refer to our previous reviews for details
We had a terrible experience at Flyte. From the service to the food, everything was abismal. We waited for a good ten or more minutes to be greeted after being sat at our table. Our waiter was slow, distracted, never came to check on us. Every time we needed a drink refill we had to literally have our arms in the air to get his attention. The food was mediocre at best, my dish came out luke warm and my kale was gritty- like it hadn't been washed. After I got my second crunchy bite I was too grossed out to finish the dish. The entire staff seemed to just not really care about anything. For the high prices for both food and drinks ($16.50 for a Johnny walker black?!) I was expecting much better. Do yourself a favor and save your money for somewhere better. We won't be coming back!
Good Food, Good ambiance. Would go back. Desserts were more interesting than most places.
Very loud, service was very slow. We waited at the bar for 10 minutes before anyone asked if we wanted anything, while here was no one there waiting. My ravioli was just ok, the sweet potato soup was cold. The chicken was good but needed more flavor. The drinks were very good at the table.
Flyte was great! My wife and I found the place online and we were able to reserve a table quickly. The staff was amazing and the food was even better. I definitely recommend it for a date night or a special occasion.
Delicious food in a very peaceful atmosphere with attentive, but not intrusive service. Everyone was happy with their food. I have a sweet tooth, so the deserts were my favorite part of the meal. We also ordered the golden beet appetizer plate and it was very good. I thought I hated beets until I tasted these. Our family had a lovely time celebrating a daughter’s graduation. Will return!
Wonderful service, personal attention, great food.
Hosted a business dinner for out of town clients. The staff was outstanding, attentive, friendly and made my dinner guests feel like locals. Quality of food is second to none and an overall wonderful experience.
We were visiting Nashville for a milestone birthday/adult only vacation. Saw great reviews for Flyte, decided to try. Michael - co-owner greeted us upon our earlier than our dinner reservation arrival. We sat at the bar for a drink while our table was prepared. The owner bought us a drink for the birthday celebration- a very kind and wonderful surprise. My husband order an old fashion, best he’s ever had. I had a refreshing lemon ginger vodka cocktail, it was amazing. Dinner was fantastic. We both ordered soup as an appetizer- one onion soup, one sweet potato bisque...excellent! Dinner entrees were fantastic too. Restaurant Ambiance was great, very chic decor especially since the outside looks a little like a warehouse. Our only comment that is not glowing is that our waitress, who was good at her job, was just that, only good. We will definitely recommend Flyte to those traveling to Nashville wanting the farm to table and/or a place to eat that is more upscale but won’t break the bank (average entree cost was between $25 -44).
