Flying Fish - Disney's Boardwalk
Wow. Just wow. Everything from the service to the food was excellent. We’d go back without a doubt.
Joshua the bartender that waited on me was awesome. Sea bass was amazing as well!
We had an awesome dinner at Flying Fish with server Kevi! Dinner for 4, including 2 children 7 and 9 y/o. We started with the Crispy Oysters! Excellent and my son had one too! Kids shared the chicken noodle soup as an appetizer and cleaned the bowl! Hubby had the seabass and I had the scallops. Both were on the salty side but still DELICIOUS and I would recommend both dishes. Kids had kids seabass w/ broccoli and kids pasta w/broccoli and carrots. Both were healthy portions (and options!). Followed by dessert: Smores on the beach, and another that was both beautiful in presentation and a sweet after dinner tasting! The restaurant is unique and fun! I would absolutely suggest making a reservation here especially if you are staying near Disney's boardwalk! Not to miss!
A dog was amazing...food was just ok
Dinner at the Flying Fish is always one of our favorite Disney vacation memories. It did not disappoint this year. Our server was fun and attentive. The food was delicious - the mussels were the best ever. Desserts and wine all make for a wonderful evening. It is pricey but worth the splurge.
This was our 4th dining at Flying Fish and by far our best experience. We mentioned to our server that during our last visit we felt very rushed with our mains coming to table as we were still eating the first course. Our server took careful note of our concern and then executed what may have been one of our finest service experiences that we have had at any restaurant. He appreciated our expressing our concern and made sure not only to manage service flow for this evening with absolute precision, but also made some special touches to fix any negative impression from our prior experience.
Bravo to the team at Flying Fish and thank you for an exceptional evening!
We will definitely be back!
We had a party of 8 (5 adults, 3 kids) and our server did a great job keeping everything moving.
Our server was knowledgeable and polite. Our food was served at the right intervals and was excellent.
Amazing food! We are going back again today!! It’s our third visit in just a couple of days lol! Sooo yummy
Outstanding restaurant and maybe the best on Disney property. We've been 4 times this year and everything has been delicious and service is always the best. Highly recommend the Pork Belly appetizer and the NY Strip Steak. But a must have is the Cocoa Breach dessert! This could be the best dessert we've ever had! Especially enjoy sitting at the bar with bartenders Josh & Bill who are 2 of the best bartenders who know how to make some amazing cocktails! Looking forward to our next visit!
Delicious food and impeccable service!
While the food and service is good, it has become overpriced for the same food we had the last few times we’ve dined there. Even the portions, which are not large to begin with, have been reduced. It’s all in line with what we’ve noticed about Disney experience: you pay a lot more for a lot less.
Food was amazing. Well executed. Second half of our service was lacking. Waiter got triple sat and we didn’t hear from him between appetizer check in and final bill. For the price, that was disappointing.
Food was fantastic. New caviar went great with a moderate priced sparkling. Great way to explore something different. Had several apps and shared entree. Each was better than the last. Had great selection of wine to pair with each course and many were reasonable in price so we could have more than one bottle between the four of us. One of many great Disney restaurants but certainly at the top of MY list. Worth coming to on your next trip
Food was just amazing!
Amazing! The Wagyu was just ridiculous! Soooooo good!!!!
Simply great. Everything was executed flawlessly. Absolutely great experience
This is one of Disney's fine dining restaurants located on the Boardwalk just outside Epcot. Overall, this was an excellent dining experience - food, service and ambiance were all top quality. The menu is primarily seafood, as you would expect, however the preparations are different and interesting. The only drawback is the price - very high. Examples, $55 for a sea bass entree, and $61 for a steak. It will be enjoyable, but realize what the price tag will be before you reserve.
Alittle overpriced but the food and service were good
One of our favorite restaurants at Disney World - service is outstanding and the food quality and presentation is excellent - a bit pricy but we don't mind paying extra when the service and food is as good as it is at the Flying Fish!!!
Great food, service below level expected at this price point.
Food was good but not for the price. Our waiter had to be waived down for service. Perhaps he thought 4 women would be bad tippers but failed to realize it was a business meeting with an important client & it was on an expense account. We arrived at 6:30 for our reservation but waited quite some time for our meal after ordering around 7. Never checked back after food was delivered. Waited, after flagging him down, for our after dinner drinks.
We had heard only good things about Flying Fish since Chef Tim Majoras had taken over and had to see for ourselves. Not only did Chef Tim take the time to come to our table, introduce himself and explain our dishes but took time to listen as well. Chef Gordon and Chef James were also very attentive and great conversationalist. The pork belly appetizer was unbelievable and the seer on the NY Strip was heaven. The attention to detail in our evening was everything you would expect from Disney.
Wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and this experience was perfect. We checked in about 7 minutes before our reservation time so we waited about 6 minutes to be seated. The host wasn’t talkative or interactive with us but walked at a pace where we can keep up. Greg or Craig was our server and was talkative and outgoing really pumping personality into the experience. Even though he had 3 tables all within ear shot the conversations were tweaked to be specific for that guest he was talking to. Ordered the pork belly and cheese plate appetizers, we shared and enjoyed the crispy and juicy pork belly and scarfed down the cheeses happily. Our entrees were the Waygu fillet (med-rare) for my wife and I hade the Chilean Sea Bass. Both were excellent and plated with the perfect complements to accentuate the distinct flavors. Desserts were stupendous, wife had a chocolate dish that they pour warm chocolate sauce that melts away the center of the dish, I had the cheese plate again (didn’t to share) and blew away our server by combining some of the chocolate sauce with the cheeses to amplify the rich and cream flavors and textures.
We will be back as we are APH and live 30 minutes away
Outstanding food and service. Love the new decor.
Always a great meal along with great service. I highly recommend the Flying Fish when your visiting the Orlando/Epcot area. You won't be disappointed.
The mussels and the bass were good. The scallops were very salty
Great meal. I didn’t expect the high quality and service at Disney
The waiter was excellent. The main course came before finishing our starter and was rushed. The main course was cold and they reheated in the microwave. The waiter was extremely apologetic and was first class. However the manager was useless. The waiter asked the manager to see us, he wasn’t interested in what we said and stated “I best let you get on and eat so your food doesn’t become too cold”! There was no apology or remorse, just a flippant comment! I have eaten at many top restaurants in Disney and really enjoyed the food and service. The manager let this restaurant down!
Was awesome. Love the new decor and atmosphere. Food was excellent I had scallops and the salad. The server was kind and pleasant!. Can't wait for another Orlando trip!
From beginning to end the experience was wonderful. Our server Mary was exceptional and very sweet. Loved the drinks, the food and the romantic atmosphere. Made our night incredibly special.
The cheese appetizer and grilled romaine salad were outstanding, as well as my Chilean Sea Bass. The waiter recommended a chocolate dessert that was very expensive but not so tasty. I am a chocoholic, so it is rare for me to dislike something chocolate. The vanilla ice cream we had on the side saved the day. Very expensive and would do again for a special occasion.
Great food only Disney could provide.
Amazing food as always. Service is on point.
Excellent dining experience. The food and service were exceptional.
Great restaurant, best in Disney!
Decadent food, beautiful decor, great service. Highly suggest making reservations.
Flying Fish delivered an exceptional experience. The oyster appetizer was so delicious. The grilled romaine salad was the best I have ever had. The salmon over the cauliflower purée with beets excited my taste buds. A+ dining! Can’t wait to return.
Enjoying being back at Flying Fish the food and service was fabulous
Good food for Disney, though a bit pricey for the meal. The Pork Belly was delicious. The NY Prime steak was also very good. I am not sure why they would slather sauce on top of a delicious NY Prime steak so ask for the sauce on the side. Overall one of the best meals I had in Orlando.
