Outstanding service and food was amazing! We will definitely return to this restaurant with friends and family!
This experience was for a special event ... a food and wine pairing dinner. My wife and I and our 4 friends had a wonderful time.
The experience from valet parking to desert was exceptional. Food and service was outstanding
The restaurant is located in the hills at a resort overlooking the area. Unfortunately, the front of house staffer seemed to be way over her head. I had reservations for outside on the patio. When we arrived, we were told it would be a 5 min wait, but were able to grab a beverage at the bar and they would get us when the table was ready. About 15min later I went to speak to her and let her know where we were so that she could find us. Again, she seemed like she was talking to me for the first time. Again told 5 min to have a table cleared. Fast forward 30 more minutes and I again had to go ask why a 5 minute wait on a reservation had turned into 45. She said she would get a table by the window ready. Again, I reminded her that we had wished to sit outside. She did manage to get us a table on the patio finally. Fortunately, our server and the food were fantastic. Serious problems upon arrival though.
All was perfect except we were disappointed that we made a reservation and had the option to be seated outside or inside.. we chose outside but due to the fact that they failed to manage this, they were unable to seat us outside. We had dined outside earlier in the week and felt it was a really nice experience that we would like to share with a special guest. Aside from the failure to seat us according to our reservation the meal and experience was exceptional, as always at Flourish.
Slow service to acknowledge us upon arrival. Substantial price increases since last year.
We are always amazed with how great the food is. The best views and wine selection. Highly recommend!
Another fantastic experience at Flourish! Food was great, and Tina, our server, is the best! Amazing view!
We have had the pleasure of dining at Flourish on a number of occasions and each and every time the service, food and enjoyment factor have been excellent. The staff are all extremely pleasant and helpful and the food is always perfectly prepared and presented, we thoroughly enjoy ourselves.
The wine selection is very good and if you get a chance to chat with Jean the head sommelier you will be in for a real treat, his passion for wines is evident from the moment you talk to him. A great place for a light lunch, afternoon happy hour or a nice romantic dinner.
I was really disappointed...
Fisrt of all, I had made this reservation about 2 weeks out for Valentines Dinner. There was No mention @ the time of a Vanetines Day Menu for $90 per person. I only found out about it when I recieved an e-mail from Flourish Restaurant (I'm on there mailing list). When I called to confirm the reservation, they informed me this would be the only menu offered Friday, and Saturday~ I had really been looking forward to the normal menu (brcasue the chef includes a Filet Minon now). At that point it was not possible
to make a Valentines Reservation elswhere. $90 per in my opinion was a bit much, considering we could eat there usually for about $110 + gratuity~ To top that off they had the window/door panels closed! They have a sunscreen film (a no no) on them so, the only view we had was a reflection of ourselves.
The waiter was polite. However, when we didn't order coctails or wine, the attention factor fell off! We both had Filet and Lobster, which was okay, nothing special~ The presentation was more like a Banquet meal... We did get Our Valentines "Couple" picture taken, which I have yet to receive!
I don't mind spending a bit of money on a nice dining experience.. But this occasionwas Very disappointing over all, and certainly Not Worth the $$!
This restaurant experience was overall great. Just suggest that you have 'time' and pay attention to your order. It seemed that maybe the staff was a little off when we were there. The orders were a little mixed up and we may have missed our order completely if we hadn't been listening in to neighbouring conversations. Took a little longer than we expected but we were able to sit down, order and dine w/in a 2hr time limit.
Brought elderly mother, who was visiting from out of town, to lunch for Valentines Day. Of course the views are fabulous. We were seated by the open doors/windows and there was a cool breeze. Our waiter was able to supply us with 2 blankets. Everything started out a bit confusing on who was our server and where they went after taking our drink order. In the end all worked out just fine. I would recommend this restaurant for the location, food is good, staff usually better just ok on this day.
Delighted with the new menu! The view was gorgeous , great recommendation on the wine and good food!
Have always enjoyed our visits to Flourish, the view is outstanding and the service is perfect. I wish they would bring the sea bass with lobster sauce back to the menu!!
The food & service were so disappointing. The view was amazing!
The service was exceptional from the moment we got there throughout the meal. There was a tiny problem with my meal and it was corrected immediately with apologees from server, chef, and manager. This is the way any and all problems should be handled by every restaurant and/or hotel. I was very impressed with everything. We were treated with exceptional service and care. It was my birthday so it meant even more to have such a lovely evening. I know mistakes happen, especially when things are very busy. Flourish and Marriott Bonvoy know just how to make things right.
We have dined here several times. Feb. 7 was a new low. Service was extremely slow. The waiter made a mistake on our order. The steak was medium instead of the rare that I had ordered. And it was tough. For the price definitely not worth it. The waiter offered to take the steak back, but I find that never works. Everyone else winds up waiting until the new dish arrives. The noise level is deafening. Very hard to have a conversation. Altogether not worth the time or the price. Our female guest went to use the ladies room and fond a large pool of blood on the floor of one of the stalls. Definitely unappetizing.
Food, service, view and ambiance were all amazing. We will be back.
Beautiful setting. Poor service, very high priced food and not overly good. Paying for the view.
Upon entering the restaurant we had an overwhelming smell of air freshener. We thought it wouldn’t reach our table area but every time someone walked by we had another whiff of it.
The menu was limited, I had the special which was a jasmine rice and chicken dish and it was completely flavorless.
My partner had the braised beef and loved it.
I would recommend this place for dessert and drinks, the view is amazing from the restaurant and the staff was friendly.
Very nice dinner for 7. We have been to Flourish numerous times with excellent results.
Hostess had zero people skills and our waitress didn’t want to be bothered with us, but bussers were charming, view unparalleled and meal delicious. Drinks were very generously poured. Noisy in the usual contemporary setting. Best panoramic restaurant in the area.
The food was cooked wrong. The burgers were charred beyond well done. The chicken was tasteless and tough. We are never going there again
Flourish is all about the ambiance and fantastic views that Fountain Hills can provide. Brussel sprouts signature appetiser good but not outstanding. Tuna tartare very good but overpriced for the amount of tuna. Desserts very good especially chocolate tart. Service very competent. Overall a n enchanted evening that only a place like this with its atmosphere can provode.
Flourish is a beautiful location with beautiful views. Our food was very good however it was not hot when it was served. This was very disappointing but overall all we enjoyed ourselves.
Food is always good, the views are fabulous, and the staff is friendly.
Good food fun toime
We celebrated my birthday and the food, service and spectacular view made it worth the trip. The staff always make you want to keep coming back!
It’s convenient to get to. Great FH views. Food was very good, but not hot when served. Our waitress was so polite, conscientious and sweet throughout our visit. It was an open dining space and it was extremely loud, at times we could not hear each other speaking.
Beautiful view with a gorgeous sunset and full moon rising. Great wine selection from super wine expert Jean. Food was well-prepared and the service was amazing.
A resort & restaurant that fly beneath the radar. Flourish never disappoints with both good food, service and an even better view of the valley.
Service was terrible and food was subpar for its rating and price.
We were married at Copperwynd, a beautiful place.
Food was dried out and mediocre at best, not worth $85.00 per person.
The waiter was very good.
Why bother going out when you can make better food at home, what’s the point?
I took my boyfriend to Flourish for his birthday dinner on New Year’s Eve and it was amazing. The ambiance was great and they had a really scenic view of the mountains. We chose outside seating but they were more than accommodating when we changed our minds since it was chilly out. The food was perfection and so was the service. I would definitely recommend and come back!
Always outstanding food and wine. Wonderful atmosphere great views. Definitely a hidden gem.
Always great food and service
We found this restaurant after de-planing starved. We left relaxed and satisfied after a wonderful meal.
As always excellent service, ambiance and food. It was the perfect venue for Christmas Eve....festive, classy, warm and inviting on every level.
Christmas Eve buffet had great salads, vegetables, ham and bass. Nice views.
The best place in Scottsdale !
Bar does not know how to make a proper Kir, it was too sweet and too large for an aperitif. Food is not at same standard and creativity in past. My scallops and risotto were good but lamb dish was not any better than I could cook at home. Wine selection by server was excellent as was service.
