Florians 2

Firstly let me say that the welcome, the food and service were first class! Honestly the food here is to die for and the owner and waitresses/waiters are amazing! Our experience was only ruined by the couple of women we had sat next to us who were loud and drunk otherwise it would of been five stars for everything! When it’s back open you MUST go here and just hope you’re not sat next to the two drunken women we encountered!

This was probably the best Italian meal I've had outside Italy. Their Vitello Tonnato was excellent, served with lovely ripe large capers. I had duck ragu while my partner had sea bass. Both were excellent too. Then, for dessert we have Gnochetti (I think they were called). These are a sort of doughnut, about the size of a small olive, filled with a hot pistachio puree and served with a dark chocolate sauce. A-mazing.

My first time there but it won't be the last.

The food is absolutely delicious and will be regularly visiting when we can.

Very good to have this place back in business after a long absence. The service was charming and welcoming, the cocktails imaginative and the atmosphere convivial. The lobster risotto was particularly good, and fried courgettes irresistible. The sea bass also went down well. Excellent Italian chardonnay by the glass too.

Six of us went to Florians 2 tonight and had a fantastic birthday meal. It was a truly memorable experience and everything was perfect from the ambiance to the friendly and efficient service but above all the delicious food. Huge compliments to the chef. We will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic food at a good price, personal attentive and friendly service and generally brilliant experience. We booked for a celebration and the staff went out of their way to help make it a memorable experience, bringing us complimentary bubbles and wishing us congratulations.

We had a very nice evening and the food was excellent.

Very authentic Italian restaurant. Dishes are well conceived and perfectly executed.

We ordered a carafe of Rose. We had to approach the waiters who were busy talking to each other to ask about it after waiting over 10 minutes for it. When it finally arrived, it was not chilled, but at room temperature.

They also did not alert my friend that the dish she ordered had as its base a particular sided dish, when she ordered the side dish separately.

It was as if the waiters were just not bothered. I will not come here again. Nor will I recommend it to others.
Sad really, as it was meant to be a birthday celebrations.

Lovely food , but was very busy (eat out to help out) so service suffered , staff could have been more attentive . But a good experience and will go back . Sea Bass was exceptional !

Since discovering Florians2, I stopped being homesick for Italian cuisine :) A local gem with excellent food and very welcoming service

It was my first time at Florian 2’s and my first meal out since lockdown restrictions were lifted so I was probably a bit over excited and over enthusiastic about eating here. But this was hands down the biggest and most pleasant surprise of the year. We dined al fresco in the lovely terrace at the back, the tables were laid out with crisp white table cloths and napkins. The food was superb, the portions generous, the flavours rich, deep and ever so satisfying and the waiting staff were simply phenomenal: friendly, fun, warm, engaged and engaging. If social distancing hadn’t been in place and if it wasn’t considered inappropriate I would have hugged them on the way out. I’ve never given anyone 5 stars before in a review but Florian 2 deserves this and more. Bravo guys. A truly splendid gem in the heart of Crouch End. Thank you for making our first post lock down social evening so special.

Just lovely. Our 36th wedding anniversary and our first time out on the town (well, Crouch End) since it all went crazy.

What a delight this was! Perfect service and a lovely atmosphere and the FOOD - just superb. My wife had the lobster risotto and I had the lamb - just fantastically delicious.

I cannot recommend this place strongly enough. It is just so great.

Had the sweet lamb - was absolutely sublime.
Not entirely convinced of 1m spacings, but not bad.

We were Florians 2's first table since the relaxation of lock down; it was also the first time we had eaten there.
The service was the excellent, the environment was clean, organised and professional.
We had a fantastic meal and will certainly visit the restaurant again.
If you have concerns about eating out, in the current circumstances, you can be sure that Florians 2 will deliver great food and a safety conscious service.
