We are open for carry out and for dine-in guests. The balcony tables are available first come first serve upon reservation. If one is not available upon arrival, guests are welcome to wait at the bar or in the lounge until one becomes available. Floriana Restaurant is about friends, family and community. We are an independently-owned Italian bistro serving dishes made with seasonal ingredients sourced from local producers. First time diners. Crab Spaghetti Neri with squid ink pasta and Tortelloni Mignon entrees were exceptional. Only negative is they were smaller size portions. Servers and all staff extremely friendly and attentive. Pricey wine list, but we found a red blend that was unique and delicious and did not break the bank. Quiet for dining, although we ate early so the restaurant was not full. Will definitely return.

Went to celebrate my anniversary with my girlfriend, it was incredible. Huge portion sizes for a decent price with lots of options to choose from! I’ll be coming back when I can drink 🍹 Their selection was impressive 👀 Huge shout out to our waiter Sean who really made the night possible with excellent service and recommendations. Very well mannered!

Absolutely fantastic! From the wine to the entree, it was delicious! All 3 of us enjoyed everything about Floriana and plan to return there when next in Wilmington! The best risotto I've ever had (and I've had it many times), with amazing scallops and shrimp ... serving was amazing and large! The fried brussel sprouts were spectacular with delicious flavors), and the crab spaghetti was fantastic! Definitely a place to re-visit!

We love Floriana! The service was friendly and attentive however the kitchen was out of a lot of items and likely understaffed. The food was good but not as good as our prior experiences here and I honestly think they were having an off night. We love the atmosphere and the balcony dining is incredible when you are able to time it right and get one! We will be back and highly recommend!

Wait staff was very friendly and knew their stuff. Offered suggestions on pairing and info on the cheese plate. Food was delicious and exactly what we where hoping for.

It was a good experience. The food is excellent. The only negative comment I have is for the bathrooms. A restaurant of this caliber must have updated and presentable bathrooms. The doors jam and it doesn’t give a good impression. Please invest in your bathrooms. Other than that, highly recommended.

We got one of the balcony tables. Host and server were both very friendly. Food was great, we got the Lobster Bisque, Lamb Gnocchi, and the Filet. Great location. Highly recommend.

We've lived in the area 18 years and never dined here. What a great time we had. The restaurant is much bigger than we expected. We suggest you dine on a weeknight because it's probably noisy on weekends. We'd been advised the scallops are amazing. They did not disappoint. Our party enjoyed scallops and shrimp risotto, lasagne (huge portion with take-home box for us,) duck confit and the scallops. Salads are huge; you can easily share with your partner. My caprese salad was amazing. Iggy was our server, and she knew her stuff; the staff, including host, were very welcoming. We feared this would be a tourist joint. It's enjoyed by locals and tourists. Wilmington is fortunate to have 2 outstanding restaurants in downtown. Make a stop at each.

We sat on our own private balcony, which was perfectly romantic, as we were on our honeymoon. The mahi risotto was delicious and my husband enjoyed the rosemary chicken. Servers were very attentive!

My first time here. The dining room feels dark and tired- the red walls don’t help. The women’s restroom is dingy and in need of renovation. Our $14 cocktails were just OK. We were happy with the calamari, but the Cesar salad was bland. Only 1 out of three diners at our table liked their entree. The pork chop was delicious (the accompanying vegetables overdone); the mahi was cooked well, but had a weird sauce that tasted like a ketchup reduction. The chocolate espresso mousse was delicious and the coffee was also good. It’s a great location, and the balcony tables look sweet and romantic with views of the river, but for a restaurant that charges special occasion prices, it doesn’t feel special.

Florianas is a must for a romantic date night! Food was so delicious! We got the duck papadelle, lasagna and calamari. Honestly going to fancier restaurants I'm left hungry die to portions however florinas is not like that! We had leftovers! The dinner was so romantic we got balcony seating. I reccomend getting a reservation and then arriving 45 minutes early to put your name on the wait list for the balcony because they don't reserve balconies. Wait staff were incredibly attentive and answered all the questions we had! I will definitely be going back it was so worth it!

This is a wonderful spot ! I love the ambiance and the hospitality. I asked for the host and waitress to acknowledge my wifes birthday for a special request when setting up the reservations, and they were spot on. My wife felt very special. I'm glad Floriana team was able to make that happen. I strongly recommend this restaurant

Drinks were well made, Arancini was very good, good bread, Caesar salad with egg was good, but dressing could have had more flavor. Lasagna was very good and butternut squash ravioli was just ok, a lot of oil in bottom of dish. Not to be too picky but table was very loose/wonky…mentioned/showed it to server but nothing was ever done to fix it.

First we’d like to say the staff made the experience. We started off at the bar and Ty was very efficient and provided our drinks in good time. I ordered the Dark Side and it was perfect! Tasty and balanced. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Shawn was our waiter. He was very accommodating and timed our meal perfectly! Gabriel was very personable and enthusiastic about Floriana and what they had to offer. Great sense of humor. Everyone was fun, enthusiastic and energetic, but also business like. The food was wonderful. We had been to the Floriana in Washington DC and traveled from Beaufort NC to experience the Floriana In Wilmington. We weren’t disappointed. We will definitely return. Side note…the color scheme in the upstairs dining room may need rethinking.

I rarely write reviews but this was not a good meal at all. From the pesto spread on the bread which had so very much lemon and garlic that it was overwhelming to the Brussel sprout appetizer which was drenched in balsamic, to the salad which was drenched in dressing to all three of our meals which had so much sauce and meat we could barely discern between the flavors of the pasta and anything else in the plate.

Came mostly for the balcony environment. Got unlucky with a windy day and some dudes who sat in their truck outside the restaurant blasting music our entire meal, obviously neither of which were the fault of the restaurant. However given the price, I was expecting more from the menu. The food was decent but nothing amazing. I think the cocktails we got were the highlight of the meal, typical price for a cocktail downtown but we’re creative and really good. Entree wise, the portions were extremely small. Again, for the price, I would’ve expected either great quality or larger quantity and got neither. Overall, just wasn’t worth the price of the bill.

We made reservations, but still had to arrive an hour earlier to get on the waitlist for a balcony. It was worth it! The weather was perfect. The view was beautiful. Food was amazing. We will definitely be back again!
