We feature traditional Mexican cuisine in a relaxed and vibrant setting that transports you to the beachside resorts of Mexico. Our bar features more than 50 rare and small-batch tequilas & mezcals, which we serve in handcrafted margaritas & creative cocktails. We offer complimentary tequila tastings every Thursday led by Luis Flores himself.

No doubt, the atmospher in Flores in the Hillsdale Mall is beautiful. Service is always top-notch and the food is tasty and shows innovation and a certain creative flair. A great experience everytime!

It was just loud and I think the tag team the waiters have is not great as one waiter isn’t always in sync with the other. Got a bit slow

Our dinner was super delicious. Love the guacamole, chips and salsa choices!! Love the fish tacos also. My husband really enjoyed his birthday treat of a tequila flight. Thank you Alex.

Such a pretty restaurant, so open and airy, cool murals. Always a warm welcome from our favorite waiter Ivan, so, nice and service excellent. We had another great meal. We shared the ensalada mixta, romaine, black beans, corn bell pepper and avacado. We added grilled chicken no quinoa substituted lime jalapeño dressing, so good and plenty. We had 4 tacos, 2 carnitas and 2 grilled fish. Both good, but, we loved the fish tacos. My husband had a beer and I had awesome sangria.

We came here to eat for a girls dinner. Our waiter was great and the food was very good. I love the ambience it was super cute and the decor was nice. I would definitely come again.

Our Wednesday evening Flores dinner was excellent. I had wild caught Mexican prawns!! Excellent. My husband had the trio of meat tacos. Wonderfully lightly spiced, crunchy with veggies. We always order the yummy guacamole with the trio of salsas. Flores is our new restaurant.

The hostess greeted us with an upbeat energy and accommodated our request for a change of table location. The server, Julian, was engaging, knowledgeable about our menu item questions and a genera pleasure. The restaurant gifted our table with a piece of Tres Leches cakes in celebration of the birthday girl! I recommend Flores San Mateo highly and would return again and again.

While the food arrived quickly, it was lukewarm. I ordered the carnitas which came with rice and beans and all were relatively muted in flavor. Thankfully, the sauces and salsa helped to kick it up a bit. Fair to middling food although the atmosphere was fun and festive. I was hoping for more authentic fare given the ratings but this meal was about as good as other quick Mexican food options.
