Good, delicious, NOISY
quality of food was incredible although we had a delay for appetizer our server was proactive with service recovery (complimentary guac and chips---incredible) Service was exceptional from the entire team
Chile Relleno was beyond good !!
Good place. Food was very nice. Did a great job accommodating our large party of 14. Pretty loud but fun.
We were seated in a small side room with little ambiance; but less noisy. We were greeted promptly with water and drink service. Menu items were on small side, but flavorful. Busser/runner cleared plates by reaching over everyone, as well as not taking all empty glassware or plate ware, to make room for entrees. Three out of four entrees arrives; but waited for our fourth. Person seating in aisle, kept getting bump and jostled by waiters, bussers and other clientele, since room was maxed out.....would be a problem if a fire broke out! Entrées were very tasty.
Delicious flavors, fun ambience, friendly waiter/staff. Owner present and delivers drinks and a chat. Would absolutely return.
this is not a traditional Mexican restaurant. it is fusion at best. not many choices. service is slow.
chicken dish was burnt in the iron skillet. I have been there three times and each time can expect a different service and food quality.
First visit. Great margaritas. Nice menu. Food & service much better than expected. Ambiance great. Noise level high but you could have a conversation. Will definitely go back.
Delicious meal, margaritas and ambiance!
Food was fantastic and kids ate everything. It’s a different kind of Mexican food. Only improvement suggested is bring chips to the table without us having to ask.
Delicious guacamole and carne asada. Fun atmosphere - can’t wait to go back.
It was our first time, and a wonderful dining experience with good friends. We’ll definitely be back!
I always enjoy dining or brunch at Flores, many new restaurants after their first few months drop on quality, Flores is the difference quality of food, taste, originality is unique and food remains delicious. Customer service needs some improvement..I haven been there se several times always great service...with one exception on which I had to deal with a rude server.
Our server was great!! He had helped us the last time we were there, so we were glad the see him. The food is very fresh, and very distinctive. We will eat there again.
This was the least favorite of my 3 visits to Flores. The food was still awesome, but our waiter was defensive and arrogant. We asked for more salsa and chips. The chips arrived, but the salsa didn’t. I inquired again and he said, “ I told you I’d put a ticket in and I did. You have to wait for the kitchen.” That was the beginning of a few retorts from him. We finally told him we were frustrated and he changed his attitude in the end. I also think we should be able to get deeper bowls of salsa. The flat plates are very difficult to share.
Way too noisy and frenetic an atmosphere, but excellent food.
I have recommended and taken many people to introduce them to Flores. We all want you to stay in business and keep up the quality service, food and reasonable prices😀👍👩🏻🦰
Great find! Really good food and nice ambiance. Great service too!
It was extremely understaffed on the night we were there. Food is very good but overpriced.
Initial visit or two great but need to keep innovating on a solid menu - not just cheese, rice, beans, meat like too many Mexican restaurants, solid but need to continue to innovate
Still on the hunt for that "perfect" Main Mexican restaurant. I had hoped it would be Flores... and Flores is good - definitely worth a visit but can't say it's going to be a regular date nite spot.
Flores is bright, and is a great place to gather. I particularly like the deck area and though I haven't been out there, I can imagine it is hugely popular on a nice day or evening. The bar area is also attractive. The food was good but I've only been there once so too early to make a critique. I need to try more dishes.
It’s been the third time that we have been to Flores. The food and the service is excellent but it’s pricey and it’s very noisy there. It’s not your every day restaurant. And I would see more dinner options.
We were really looking forward to this but the four ounce wine pour was offputting as were the small portions and disorganized service. The Cantina in Mill Valley does it better - sorry - love the location - just not the execution - however, this is a new establishment - let's give them a chance to settle in and find their stride.
service and food was very good
I went to Flores for lunch on a very rainy day. The staff was on point and very friendly. As I sat at the bar waiting for my lunch date I thought to myself "I'd like to come back when the weather is better". The vibe is more breezy and summery, the decor is light and bright and there is a small outside eating area that looks appealing for a warm summer day. We started with Guac and Chips which were very tasty. We shared an Ensalada de Elote and Empanadas. We both enjoyed the salad and thought the Empanadas were so so, they were larger and softer than we were used to. I'd definitely like to go back on a nicer day and try the dinner menu.
Love the food, decor & service. Excellent casual dining!
Love dining at Flores! The staff is always friendly and the food is fabulous!
Outstanding upscale Mexican restaurant! We loved everything about it.
Typically a great place. Bad experience with service this past weekend. Yikes. Food average.
The portions were super small for the price. Staff was very nice, fun environment and will come back for drinks and apetizers.
Super average food, but with higher prices than normal for an upscale Latin restaurant in the Bay. Nice decor & wall murals, but I’d only come back for maybe drinks after work- not a meal.
The restaurant itself was beautiful. The service was just okay. The food was good, but very pricey for the amount served. I would go back for drinks only.
Great! Good food, chill vibe, we went on a Friday night.
Simply too noisy to enjoy dinner. Service was very pleasant. Food good, home made tortillas are a nice touch but I would like to see organic corn being used. Some nice innovative food with accents of "authentic" but guacamole was stringy and sub par. Over all it was ok but nothing to write home about.
We loved it!! The next day, I kept thinking about what a yummy meal I had - so much, I made another reservation for later in the same week. Thank you for bringing this to Marin!
Food was good, came out real fast once our waiter finally got to our table. Margaritas were good but small and a bit overpriced $10. The main issue is how loud it was...full of gabby yuppies there to gossip as much as eat.
Excellent margaritas ! Authentic and very tasty food. We went on Cinco de Mayo and the restaurant was a very loud party scene with Mariachis playing. We were seated and served right away. Been here many times for lunch and it never disappoints.
Easy to go as a last minute decision.
Family friendly, neighborhood place.
Everything was great. Service was great but a little slow which was the only reason for 4 starts and not 5
