   This brunch was a complete disaster although we tried to make the best of a terrible dining experience by Hadley-our waitress. She dropped a tray of Champaign on my granddaughter at the offset of brunch then proceeded to drop the remainder of the tray all over my wife. My wife was drenched! My granddaughter enjoyed her meal like sitting in a wet bathing suit! Happy Mothers Day! The waitress’s look turned to panic as she dropped the rest of the tray on the floor where the glasses shattered right behind my chair. Not one…..not two…. but three occurrences. She quickly apologized and said she would be right back to attend to our needs! Hadley was NEVER seen again, NEVER….. until the check was dropped off 50 minutes later. Water glasses were never re-filled, plates were not removed, napkins not refreshed. We usually go to the Ritz Carlton but thought it would be nice to try the Omni. What a train WRECK. The only sign of tentative management was five minutes after the incident occurred when a slender, meek, young gentleman (?) finally apologized. No name, no title, no sincere apology. My wife’s meal was comp’ed along with 10% off the check but the entire Mother’s Day brunch experience was unfortunately forgettable and memorable in a very negative manner. Perhaps the Omni wait staff should attend training with the Golden Corral staff! I am confident today’s incident can we reviewed via a dining room video recording for KEY improvements!!! Accidents happen….. but their recovery efforts were simply ineffective and insincere! Shame on you Omni!

   Have been to many holiday buffets at the “Sunrise cafe.” Food is fun and creative, for a report buffet …Lots of interesting and well prepared items. Service is friendly and genuine. The remodel is nice but there are too many hard surfaces and it is loud … NEEDS TABLE CLOTH, BADLY The decor theme is cute but the tables and chairs a don’t really match giving it a diner feeling.

   Another sub par dining experience at Omni Amelia island. We made 10 am reservations for Mother’s Day, the restaurant was still trying to prepare at 9:59 am. They made an announcement for all guests to come to host stand so they could figure out who had been there waiting the longest for seating. They sat 10 plus tables all at once which slowed service down for everyone. They never went by reservation time but rather treated it as first come first serve. The manager was just as inept as the 2 host boys, and the director of food and beverage was too busy gushing over some guest who frequents the establishment to notice or care much less say anything. All these families there for Mother’s Day corralled like cattle to get in a place that’s charging $100 per person for food stations/brunch.

   Delicious brunch. The buffet has a great selection, including omelettes made to order. The gluten free baked goods are excellent.

   The French toast and eggs were amazing. The coffee and service was wonderful. Chantel took care of us both days and she was exceptional.

   What use to be Sunrise Cafe is now FloraBelle. When we arrived we were immediately seated outside on the patio overlooking the ocean. Beautiful view ! Brunch was spectacular! From fresh oysters, oysters Rockefeller, octopus & shrimp to a full breakfast bar and fresh omelet's cooked to your specifications. Fresh OJ & Apple juice, waffles and a ton more. Quite the spread of food to meet your needs ! A great Easter brunch ! Thank you !!

   Food was exceptional with excellent mix of breakfast and lunch. Prime rib was perfect. Very tasty desserts. All in appealing presentations. Staff was attentive and very courteous.

   We come here, yearly at Easter with grandkids. Definitely a buffet that offers something for everyone. Wide selection of seafood, meats, vegetables, fruit, and other breakfast items. The food was all thoughtfully, prepared and the service was excellent.

    FloraBelle has an amazing Easter morning feast. We sat on the open air Terrace with a view of the ocean and the beach. Our waitress was professional and very attentive, the food was outstanding and everyone in the restaurant offered to take our photo when we stood up to take a selfie. Amazing how everyone was so kind and thoughtful. Happy Easter, I highly recommend FloraBelle for any occasion.
