Fish was good, steak wasn't great had a big line of silver skin through it that was not ediable and was more closer to rare then med rare. Would try again tho because that Panna cotta was magical.

We had 7:30 reservations. For my 14 year old bday dinner. Sat there with just water for over 45 min before getting our drinks. Then another 30 min before she took our order.. another close to 30 to get bread. didn’t get dinner for 1:30 later. Skimped a bread order for 6 ppl. Food was mediocre. Very slow service. Didn’t eat until 9:15 or so? We were the last table to leave. Not worth the wait or the price. Super unfortunate we had this experience. Not sure we will be back?

The menu itself indicated a sophisticated Italian dining experience but it was not that. The mushroom pizza had very little flavor. The chicken pate was quite good but the barrata watermelon salad was flavorless, and the fruit cut up in odd little pieces. I can make a better pizza and caprese salad at home. We got there at 5:30 when it was not busy and did not get our pizzas for almost an hour. The service was not good. Overall, really a disappointment. I was hoping for a lot more for all the work they put into the space, but it did not go into the quality of the dining.

Florabella had a wonderful and inviting atmosphere and our service was excellent. The food was different and delicious and we loved our experience here celebrating our 8 year wedding anniversary. We will definitely be back!

Such a huge disappointment. This place does not live up to its amazing setting and interior and was a huge waste of money , and more importantly, our time- we waited over an hour between our appetizer and our entrees (which were very mediocre except for the short ribs). We were served a COLD bottle of Cabernet ( our waiter, Adam,helpfully showed us how to warm each glass between our hands to get it to room temp.) Thanks, Adam. But in real restaurants they would 1) not chill a Cabernet in the first place and 2) would offer us the chance to order another bottle rather than opening it and pouring it as he told us it was cold). After waiting about an hour for our entrees a woman ( who never introduced herself) came over and leaned on our table. We all looked at her expectantly waiting for her to stop chewing whatever she was eating and say something. After a long, awkward moment she swallowed whatever it was and mumbled, “I know you’ve been waiting quite a while, your food will be out soon.” I’m assuming this was the manager, which goes a long way in explaining why this place is so poorly run. We smiled and said all was fine because we were visiting our son in Missoula and he and his girlfriend had really wanted to go to Florabella. We will never make that mistake again and neither should you. Instead, go sit at their bar for a drink. Or maybe grab an appetizer on the patio. But don’t do a whole dinner there. Your money and your time are too valuable.

Gorgeous interior with excellent food. The pastas are all delightful especially the ragu, bucatini, and malfadini. Portions are great except on the captiviti which was small. The burrata is normally fantastic but needs a vehicle, so you’ll have to order the bread and butter. Yum. The staff is so helpful in helping you decide on a wine choice and in general are such attentive and knowledgeable staff.

Noise--loud, but not much the restaurant can do about that especially when diners at the table next to you choose to speak loudly. Tonight we dined with 2 friends; they had only dined at Florabella once. Was so hoping it would go well. We had 6:30pm reservations, placed orders at 6:45, and our main meals arrived at the table at 8pm. Our friends both ordered the lamb ragu pasta; neither cared for it. To the restaurant's credit, Samantha ("boss") allowed them to vent their frustrations and they were provided dessert on the house. Samantha ("boss") also brought a bowl of complimentary olives to the table to hold us over as we waited for our delayed dinners. My husband ordered the pasta with clams and stated to the rest of us that there weren't that many clams in his dish; primarily pasta, not much on protein. As usual, I ordered my customary Margherita pizza, which is about the only thing I like on the menu, and in fact, I love it! It's just soooooo good!!! I yearn for a good, real-deal Caesar salad when I dine out; the kind I make at home with anchovies and raw egg yolk, lots of fresh garlic, etc., blended right into the dressing...the old fashioned way. Yum!!! We ordered a tiramasu to share--I do not ever order dessert secondary to calories and fat and a much-watched waistline. I have to say, it was worth all of that. Will exercise/eat less tomorrow. So so good and will order next time we go, which will be, in fact, this upcoming Saturday. Love that pizza!!! I hope with time, the menu will expand and improve. I do tend to try to stick with a Paleo diet. Not really possible here. All that said, we will be back.

The margarita pizza is perfect, taste memories of Napoli; thank you! Love sitting outside in the fragrant herb garden, in spite of occasional macho vehicle noises. Can't wait to return.

We had a wonderful dinner at Florabella and loved everything about it. The food was great, the noise level has come way down in that space compared to the past, still energetic but supportive of decent table conversation. The staff could not have been better - from Adam, who waited on our table, to the hostess, who gave us a mini tour of the cafe space and talked to us about the renovations - we could not have asked for a more welcoming crew. We will definitely return and we will definitely recommend.

I brought my son to Florabella on 8/1/23 for his 34th birthday celebration, and we both really enjoyed our evening. We started with cured meats and cheese & an arugula salad. For entrees, my son had the sea bass and I had the crispy octopus, both of which were delicious and. It was just the right amount of food for the price. The atmosphere was perfect, and our server was attentive and friendly. We also listened to him handle an unreasonably disgruntled customer with grace. I will definitely be back!

The first server during happy hour was fairly nice but not overly friendly. The server we had during dinner was hardly pleasant and not very friendly at all. She checked on us often but certainly didn’t seem to enjoy her job. When I made a mistake paying and needed to redo it,, she acted put out of place. Everything else was wonderful, great food!

Lovely room. Food did not live up to expectations. Pasta with clams, Cheesecake and budino were all bland. Pasta with shrimp and buratta appetizer was good though. Friendly wine bar server. A little overwhelmed. Good wine list. Just not that great of food, unfortunately.

Excellent food! Enjoyed the burrata appetizer only to be followed by a well prepared clams In spaghetti dish…. Wonderful flavors that paired well with the orange rosé ! The friendly Service was a bit slow however the beautiful dishes made up for it! We had a great experience overall!

As always it was yet another delicious meal at Florabella, our favorite Italian restaurant in Missoula. That said the pasta options feel very winter/fall like, not sure they changed the menu, would be nice to have some lighter options.

My first visit and I was not disappointed. Our server was wonderful, knowledgeable and helped with suggestions. The wine she suggested was perfect for our meal and I felt overall it was an excellent value. The food was good and I actually liked the pizza the best, which surprised me. The Canna Lilly ceiling was stunning. I will definitely be back soon.

Loud, and with slow service when busy. The food and fine points of service do not justify their prices. We waited 45 minutes for two cold starters, then when the table was cleared for the entrees, the waitress left our silverware from the first course. It's a small point, perhaps, but a sign of a mid-grade rather than upscale restaurant. The food wasn't bad, but neither was anything outstanding. I doubt we will return.

Awesome follow up to the iconic Dolce space, Florabella is a unique Missoula restaurant, supporting employees and serving the community. The food is fantastic. Pastas are inventive and always delicious. The pizza dough is properly sour and chewy and fired precisely. Drinks and deserts are all excellent. Our new go to spot in Missoula. Highly recommended for date night, family nights or friends. Especially great with the doors open and on the patio on warm summer nights

We are from Oklahoma and were in town for vacation. We drove by and decided to book a reservation and we are so glad we did. Everything we had was exceptional. I personally had the Bucatini and my husband had the Cavatelli and we loved it all. The chocolate budino was unreal! Eat here and eat often!!

Two dinner orders took over an hour to come. It was not hot when it arrived. The waiter Adam was rude when we asked about our food, stating” I will bring it when it comes up. The music was loud so it was hard to converse. The second beer came very late, we were finished eating.

Our visit was early on a Monday evening. The place is fantastic. Incredible ambiance. The menu is small-ish but there is something for everyone. There we're 4 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We'll definitely go back.

The food tasted really good. The menu was different in offering dishes we don't normally see. The staff were friendly and on top of their responsibilities. With the high ceilings it was noisy and we needed to lean in order to hear each other well. The noise wasn't such that we could hear the conversations at nearby tables.

What a delightful evening - delicious food, festive ambience, and excellent service! We started with burrata salad that was creamy and crisp and followed with three different pasta dishes. Florabella makes their own pasta and it was cooked al dente and sauced perfectly. (Sadly, on this visit they didn’t have my favorite, bucatini with langoustine - it’s worth a trip just for that dish.) There’s a wide selection of wines - glasses and bottles- especially if you like full-bodied Italians. Florabella’s desserts are the best in town. On this visit we shared Basque cheesecake and chocolate budino, a dense, dark pudding topped with olive oil and sea salt. If they served it in the cafe I’d be there for lunch every day! Florabella’s service was up to its usual high standards - friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. The atmosphere is bubbly and festive.

Celebrated our 22nd anniversary here, one of our favorite Missoula restaurants, delicious food, good service, and a nice table on the patio. Not a biggy but despite putting in our OT reservation that we were celebrating, while the host said congrats the server didn't even acknowledge our special day or do anything (not that I was expecting anything more than a kind "congrats""! There is a service provided by OT that prints out the details about the guest on a slip of paper that's usually handed to the server and finer restaurants, but perhaps not in use here?? That won't stop me from returning, we really like this place, kitchen counter next time for sure!!

This was my first trip to Florabella, but knowing the space from the previous restaurant, I requested a table outside because I find the noise level challenging for conversation and we were catching up with a friend. It was a lovely evening, but it definitely seems like indoor dining is favored given the lack of table settings on the patio. I suspect servers are splitting time between the two spaces and that may have resulted in less attention given to patio diners. Our server didn't ask us if we had any questions about the menu. Were there specials? The server seemed busy and we were enjoying visiting so we didn't ask questions. This led to a few surprises. The burrata comes with focaccia that could be better described as focaccia croutons. Their wine list is great but they don't serve draft beer and have no Missoula beers. My pasta was cold by the time it was served, but the pizza looked fantastic and was huge. I'll definitely return but will review the menu online before hand so any questions are ready to go.
