Flora Street Cafe
Everything was excellent! Amazing service, food and drinks. Would highly recommend!
Food and service as always was excellent. Flora Street is one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. My wife and I have been a follower of Stephan Pyles for 25 years. All of our choices were superb.
Kevin was great. Food was delicious.
The beginning of the meal was great, the appetizers were amazing and the service was spot on. Then we got to the last two final dishes and our server just kinda forgot about us despite us telling him we had to be done be a certain time. It was about 30 minutes before we got the last dishes from the appetizers and it was just a little underwhelming. The potatoes for the side were almost burned on the outside and completely raw on the inside. Just was a bit of a mess at the end of a meal that started off so great! Would go there again in hopes it was an off night.
Can’t thank the staff enough for the amazing menu they provided yesterday. Top notch service, menu exceeded expectations and Very grateful for the team working on Thanksgiving!
We went to the Thanksgiving Brunch. It was served family style and all the courses were perfect. We loved the twists put on traditional Thanksgiving Goods and everything was portioned perfectly so that we were full but not miserable. I’m so glad we decided to go. Bonus...no post Thanksgiving clean-up required haha.
We love the Flora Street Cafe reboot. Food still exquisite and the service impeccable. The perfect place for date night, even after all these years.
Beautiful food, nice service. Thank you.
The wagyu beef was basically brisket for $45. Mentioned two times it was a birthday dinner without any recognition of the birthday. Spent over $500 for very good appetizers but horrible entrées. This was our fourth time at this restaurant. The food has really gone down hill. The atmosphere is very nice. Will not be back.
We were all impressed. The menu, wine list, service, food and experience were unanimously appreciated by the nine people in our party. Food flavors and freshness also impressed. Well done.
Great service, relaxed atmosphere, and excellent flavor in everything we ordered!
I like the new format, especially the shared plates. We ordered a variety of dishes. Although our portions were small, we had plenty without being over full. Service was excellent and fast.
Excellent food and service! Friendly staff who allowed us to eat at our pace.
amazing restaurant food was superb!! Must try the lobster tamale pie!!
Consistently good, unpretentious food. Lobster tamale is my personal favorite. Shared plate format makes it difficult when dining alone.
We first heard of the venue from the Friday Guide and seeing the restaurant is a Stephan Piles location did not hesitate to get reservations. We were very pleased with the experience both in service, ambiance, and the offerings. The staff were professional, welcoming, and the presentation and taste of the food offerings was outstanding. I would highly recommend the Flora Street Cafe.
While I truly enjoyed the ambiance and food, I was not a huge fan of the service I received during my meal. The hostesses were wonderful and the manager as well, but my waiter but slow to respond. we sat down at 12:10 and he didn't come to ask about an app or additional drinks until at least 10-15 minutes later. We didn't have our meal until around 1pm. I would go back again and give it another chance
Fantastic location to catch an amazing dinner prior to spending the evening at the Meyerson l
Everything on the menu is absolutely fantastic
The staff, the dining experience, the entire package is unequaled
Thank you so much for having us!
Oh my gosh what an amazing experience! The food is always divine at any Stephan Pyles restaurant, and although I have been to Flora many times before, I loved sharing the new menu with my son for our pre-theater dinner date. Danny was AMAZING and found the recipe and the ingredients for my favorite new cocktail, the Elizabeth Taylor! Hunter was STELLAR in making sure we were out in time to make it to The Music Hall at Fair Park on time for the show and totally steered us in the right direction with our food choices, Foie Gras, Branzino with Couscous and Wild Boar Bolognese. I did not get the name of the gentleman who led us to our table but he was just that, a wonderful gentleman. I CANNOT WAIT TO RETURN!
Amazing service paired with exceptional food.
The meal was excellent as always. It's one of our favorite places to go before the opera. This time I found the service to be slow and less attentive then I'm used to.
Delightful lunch while spending time in the museum district .Would certainly recommend. Very cool physical layout
Paul, the general manager, was excellent at ensuring the experience was optimal. He could have fawned over the Dallas Morning News restaurant photographer who was taking photos for an upcoming review. Instead Paul made cocktail and dessert recommendations and visited each table. The waiter was very attentive and we will be back.
Excellent experience. Minor disappointment was the only fish on the menu was salmon and they ran out 10 minutes before I ordered my 6:30 pm meal.
Hands down, the best culinary experience in Dallas! From shareables, to starters, to mains, Stephen Pyles is an absolute genius, who creates the most incredible flavor profiles. Add to all of that the impeccably well-timed, never-intrusive, most-informative, and incredibly gracious service provided by our waiter, Kevin, and the sommelier (whose name escapes me at this time), and it was simply a most memorable experience for both my companion and I.
Can’t wait to go back for dinner! Such good food & ambiance 😎
As usual, Flora Street Cafe provided a fine experience. Service was professional and the atmosphere relaxing. The only flaw on this occasion was my hanger steak which was so salty I had to return it. It was quickly replaced with a steak that was seasoned more appropriately. All other items, including Caesar salad, roasted corn/butternut squash soup, and the pistachio mousse dessert, were impeccable.
Food was fresh and fantastic. Excellent wine. Waiter kept an eye on the time so we would arrive for our concert in plenty of time. We will definitely go back.
Overpriced, high additional charges to split the very small food portions, the very casual setting does not match the higher price.
The food was flavorful and presented well. The staff is knowledgeable and engaging.
I have been there many times, the food, choice of music and ambiance was great and the fact the Stephan Pyles himself came and greeted us made it even more fun.
We shared appetizers, entrees and desserts. Everything was beyond delicious! I couldn't have had a better birthday! Service was outstanding!
It was our 7th anniversary dinner and we enjoyed it very much. The chef himself came over to check on us so that was nice.
Sadly disappointed. Far cry for me food-wise from what Star Canyon was and even Stampede 66. Caesar salad dressing was watery, pork was dry and not flavorful.
We came here for lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful and upscale restaurant with delicious food and great service.
The service is ALWAYS slow and inattentive. Too often they forget an order, like my request yesterday to add a grilled chicken breast to my pasta. (I had to start eating my pasta before it got cold rather than wait for the chicken breast.)
There are insufficient apologies for these snafus. Mr. Pyles was in the restaurant and didn't even bother to come over.
I would not go to this restaurant except for the fact it's in my building.
The food was very good but we were disappointed that some of our favorites were not on the menu, even though the ingredients are seasonal.
In short, it was disappointing. The food is obviously great here, but the service is lacking when considering this is a “fancy” place. The restaurant wasn’t busy and everything moved slow and their attention to detail was non existent. I was also celebrating my birthday which no mention nor effort was given to. It’s safe to say, I won’t be rushing back.
Fantastic food; superior, attentive service!
Took my out of town family there. We sat at table 30. We had much of what the menu was offering, and Stephen Pyles was there to greet all of us, an extra special treat. We will most definitely be back. A real bonus was watching the activity in the open kitchen.
The food was some of the most flavorful and tasteful dishes we have had in some time. Beautifully presented too. Many thanks to Stephen and his team for a wonderful evening! I shall happily recommend this restaurant to all my fiends and clients.
