We went to Floga for the first time for lunch. Atmosphere was great!! Open concept restaurant with lovely decor and natural light. Comfortable seating available in quiet environment. We also had a wonderful server who was very friendly, polite and attentive. Food was delicious, however smaller than expected portion sizes for the price. Likely to return to try out different dishes. Thanks!
Our server Mercedes was excellent.
Our seating was in a high traffic place and we were little uncomfortable.
Food was good. Very large portion.
We, a party of five, waited almost 1.5 hrs before seeking out the manager. Server didnt check in on us nor top up water. We had to flag her down to inquire about our meals to which she replied "5 minutes" and apologized for the delay. Table next to us was seated after we got our apps and their food was served while we continued to wait. Manager went well out of his way for righting the wrong. He went out of his way to ensure we had a meaningful resolution. We will be back because of the manager's efforts
Good food nice atmosphere will be back again!!! Also staff are fun
The perfect dining experience for couples or large groups. The food was spectacular, delicious and had the nostalgic and comforting taste of 'Mom's homecooking'. If you can't go to Greece, dinner at Floga is the next best thing! Highly recommend.
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Ask for the manager. He recommended the tastiest stuff on the menu.
Our fourth visit and still in awe of 5he wonderful space
Great restaurant I would like to go again lovely food typical greek
I went to Floga on Sunday with a group of friends and I loved it so much, that I went back tonight with my wife. All I can say is that I have found my new favourite restaurant. The food is amazing. The saganaki was so good. The octopus was even better. The waitress was so friendly and helpful. The general manager told us that they just opened 2 months ago. He did such a good job in helping us decide what to eat. I wish there was a Floga downtown. But the drive to Scarborough is worth it.
Orsela was amazing! Attentive and friendly. She made the celebration one to remember!
This was our second visit. Our server recommended the Fresh Seabass to my wife. She loved it. I had the saganaki (flambe cheese) and the souvlaki. Good stuff. Going back on Saturday for live music.
We had a pleasant early New Years Eve dinner. Waitress was very pleasant and able to answer our questions on the menu. Food was very good; good portions, good temperatures when served. The only 2 negatives which could possibly be explained by the fact it was New Years Eve even though it was only 6:30., one Caesar was so hot it was difficult to drink—even the olives were unpleasantly hot. The other Caesar was so mild that it almost seemed one had no Tabasco and the other had more than double. This led into the second minor complaint. No one refilled the water glasses or asked if we wanted more water. When the second round of drinks were ordered one person asked for more water instead of a second drink. The alcoholic drinks were served promptly but the water never arrived. Definitely minor issues- did not ruin the meal and we will definitely be going back. There are several tempting items we still want to try!!!
Overall experience was good. We were disappointed that couple of the popular item on the menu were not available the day we visited!
Was Thursday and for example the popular item kondosouvli was not available.
Overall food and service was good.
Good and fast service! Food was very tasty! Kids running around by the waterfront.
Relaunched Substantially improved Mr. Greek offshoot called FLOGA. Delicious Charred Octopus, Pork Souvlaki, and superbly roasted meats. Very well developed menu with authentic greek flavours. Excellent for lunch or dinner, highly recommend ordering appetizers only and sharing, which follows greek tradition.
Service was not good. Staff require training in how to treat customer...you never open an expensive wine not in presence of customer... we bought $110 wine, cork broke she said she was going to get another bottle instead she came back with it open and did not ask customer to taste first.. come on guys that is basic 101 knowledge...what kind of place are you running
It's a nice restaurant with good ambiance, very modern. It's good to have a nice Greek restaurant in Scarborough. It's very over priced though for the portion that you get.
Being fan of Mr.Greek for many years..we were looking forward to taste the new concept. We were greatly disappointed. The food was horrible:soggy bread..overcooked vegetables burned fries..burned souvlaki and uncooked lamb. The waitress was no where to be seen. The value of food to cost was not acceptable; the size of the portions were below expectations..we couldnt finish our meals as it seemed they were not cooked properly and barely could wait to leave. The best part was the overpiced greek beer that we had to ask for glasses to drink from..the hostesses that were smiling and seemed engaged. The acoustics were poor and for a venue that is brand new the location of their 'live music' was hardly effectively conceptualized.
The restaurant is so new and fresh, the servers are amazing and the food was excellent - the inside of the restaurant is so welcoming with the waterfalls, the décor, just amazing! There were 2 of us and we felt really special - would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a really good place to eat. I had the grilled lamb chops and they were absolutely delicious!
Definitely the BEST Greek food in Toronto. Hands down. Food is fresh, tasty and certainly authentic. The place is so pretty and super clean. The service was impeccable. A neighbourhood gem for sure.
Thoughtfully decorated, this was a beautiful space with terrific ambience for a dinner out. Perfect for families, couples or groups. Delicious calamari, you won’t be able to eat the stuff in the pubs again. Chicken souvlaki was moist, tender and flavourful. Can’t wait to go back and try something new.
Significantly better values in "Greek Town" . Open concept is very noisy and hard to carry on a conversation at the table. Most of the staff seemed ill trained.
I came in a group of 10 people. The waitress was nice but very slow. She took forever to take our order at the start and to give our receipts at the end. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all too. I will come back here but the service must improve.
A remarkable transformation and epic reinvention. FLOGA is authentic, and fresh Greek cuisine. The BEST pork souvlaki, grilled octopus in the CITY! Both food and service sizzle! The interior is memorable and stylish but definitely modern. Upscale experience with very accessible wine list and cocktails. Sublime massive horseshoe bar for a pre-dinner cocktail. I have eaten here several times since their GRAND OPENING. The kitchen features a market area where breads are baked fresh and fresh seafood is chilled on ice in an open case. Their desserts also made in house are perfectly sized and wonderfully prepared. The cheesecake topped with baklava is great twist on two classics. Very affordable without compromising quality. Lovely Greek music in the background and plenty of wine glasses being out to use.
Your food was good but lacked the Greek N word .It was not NOSTIMO.
Neighbour hood gem, what a nice addition to the area.
