Chef Sheridan Su was born in Chinatown, Los Angeles and raised in Monterey Park, CA. Growing up in an area considered by many gourmands as home to some of the finest Asian restaurants in the world, this was a giant playground for his culinary beginnings. Since a child, Sheridan has had a fascination with taste and the transformation of ingredients, leading a very natural path to becoming a chef. Upon graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Sheridan embarked on a culinary journey that has shaped who he is today. He has spent time in the acclaimed kitchens of Ambrosia on Huntington in Boston, Atelier in New York, and Sona in Los Angeles.
Here in Las Vegas, he has been on the opening teams of prestigious restaurants including, Joël Robuchon at the Mansion, Social House, Wazuzu, and as Executive Chef at Comme Ça.
The Hainan chicken is amazing. We come here every trip to Vegas for that chicken! Prices are reasonable and everything is perfectly cooked. Yelp has a check in offer for a free smashed cucumber salad and it's terrific. Highly recommended!
Jayme the server was great and held the bad experience together. We arrived at opening bell on Sunday at 11am. I ordered a gin martini which took quite a while to get, and when it got to the table, it was brown. The bartender apparently did not know how to make a gin martini! They offered to re do the drink, but I was so turned off, I declined. They discontinued the fried chicken and chicken skin, so I ordered the menu replacement, a soya chicken, which was really awful. The place was dirty, chairs were very uncomfortable (my first chair almost broke when I sat in it, and I am very thin). I have no idea how anyone would ever want to dine there.
We used to like this place, not sure what happened. It was nearly dead on a Friday night at 6:30, only one table had been seated. There was no hostess, so we finally asked the bartender if he could see if anyone was available. He disappeared for a good 5 minutes, so we seated ourselves and got our own menus. It was at least 10 minutes before we got served water, and another long wait before we got food. The food was not up to their usual standards. The bone broth is always great, but my chicken was cooked but very cool (not hot at all). Service definitely not up to snuff. We'll wait a while and check reviews before returning here.
I can only rate the service because we were never seated. We arrived on time but waited 15 minutes while being told they were “doing the best they could” to get a table ready for our party of 4. There was another party of 5 ahead of us when we arrived and they also were left standing without any explanation. A visit to the restroom revealed empty tables in the dining room so I’m not sure why we were all left to wait so long without any service. We finally left and went around the corner to Le Thai which turned out to be some of the very best food of our weekend in Las Vegas!
They changed the.menu for the worse by eliminating some very good selections, removed the option to choose your own sides, you no longer can get white meat with fried chicken and finally it appears they even changed the fried chicken recipe. It went from the best fried chicken in Vegas to average.
Service was appropriately attentive and warm. Interior is attractive, sort of an urban rustic kind of look. Food, however, was disappointing. Ramen: bland. Kaya Toast: flavors and textures just don’t come together. Chinese chicken salad: fresh and light but boring. The Chinese steam bun sandwich appetizer was again bland, with greasy chicken, egg and a room temperature piece of gummy white “bun”! This was our last meal in Vegas, and we had reserved based in an article in Food and Wine. What were they thinking??
Disappointed. Although the food had potential, the service needed work. I think that in all fairness, they still need to get their act together and it was very packed for the amount of waiters available. Still, we had to remind our waiter about our drinks and he never came back with our change. He was good in describing the food and making recommendations though. Also, the ramen was nothing great and kind of skimpy on the portion. Could be because it was the last one available. The Haian chicken was good as was the chicken bao
Their Hainanese Chicken and the Chicken Broth was amazing! :) Wings were also great - loved the soy garlic one!
Excited to hear that they will now be open for lunch everyday. Skip the flash on Fremont and stroll a block over for real food. Loved the dipping sauces.
Usually come for lunch. Better vibe at lunch. For dinner we were the only diners. Bar had patrons. Menu is somewhat limited. Food was good. Service was excellent.
I have eaten at the previous location on Sunset. Discovered it had moved when browsing thru open table looking for food choices.
I have had the salad before and was impressed by the quality flavors and texture, and made reservations thinking I was going to have the salad again. When I arrived and saw the menu, I keyed into some Singaporean foods, and having just returned from Singapore I needed to compare the Hainanese chicken rice with what I just had the week before. The chicken quality was better than anything I had in Singapore, and the Ginger mix and sauces were authentic. I did not order the Kaya Toast, (also a Singapore staple), Next time I will.
Although the new location is not as convenient, I do appreciate that the restaurant is now open for dinner and look forward to going back many times.
Wonderful! Short walk away from Freemont and the food was great! Service was great and attentive. Would definitely come back!
If you like fried chicken, this is the place for you. For me it is just an upscale KFC, at a very expensive price. To me this is not restaurant food and maybe it is my fault for not understanding what the restaurant was offering. Everyone there was very nice
The food is simply phenomenal. Creative, interesting, and just delicious. The team is so thoughtful and we cannot wait to return on our next trip to Vegas!
This place is relatively highly rated but we thought it was so-so. I can't say I would recommend it to others but if you told me that you were going to eat there I would not say "Don't do that." I would tell you that we ate there, the food was decent (C quality) but we didn't go back for a number of reasons including the simple one that there are lots of good places to eat in Vegas so why go back unless the place is really special. I can't say that anything in particular was wrong with the food--it was simply an "average" meal. Nothing more, nothing less.
The chicken sandwich on egg bread was delish. The bread was soft yet chewy because it was lightly toasted. The bread complimented the crispy chicken. The piece of fried chicken was flavorful and crunchy. My only complaint was that the chicken was small that many of my bites resulted in a mouthful of egg bread. It’s a chicken sandwich right? Not a bread sandwich? LOL!
F&F is on the east end of DTLV and easy walking distance from all hotels. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was laid back and great for conversation. We ordered the beef broth to start and found it flavorful and familiar. The chicken wings, fried and hainan all were delicious. I recommend that you put this restaurant on your rotation.
Great food and service. The menu is small but the food is amazing. KayaToast is dreamy. The Hainanese chicken was tasty and is the best chicken and rice we have ever had. Also try the watermelon salad if it is in season.
One of our new favorite restaurants and we will back soon.
Fantastic dishes that the chef has created. The service was really lacking and could use a lot more quality control in the cleanliness of flatware, glasses and plates. Overall, this restaurant is right on the border of being exceptional. It just needs to have better furniture, service, and cleanliness.
Just delicious. This is straightforward; good food. It seems simple but the flavor profiles are elevated and unique. It’s a local favorite.
Really cool design and feel inside this restaurant. Was a very quiet experience (we got there right when they opened), interesting menu.
We tried the traditional Hainan dish along with a couple sides, was very tasty and enjoyable.
Will definitely go back for another taste!

I hosted a business dinner of 13 guests who came from states all across the western states. Troi and Luis were our servers and took the time to discuss food and drink options. We chose premium water- both sparkling and still. We had a family style dinner which included the restaurant's signature Hainan chicken, the fried chicken, bao, bang bang noodles and laksa. This also included sides and we were so impressed with the variety flavors presented. Every piece of chicken (including the fried) were flavorful and moist. The rice is simple, yet was so incredibly received. (Some didn't like rice, and ate their entire bowl with delight!)
Some people in the group had returned from previously dining here in the past, and they very impressed by the new menu. Thank you again for stellar service, good drinks, and great food!

Great chicken bao! Bone soup was to die for. Watermelon salad was perfectly done.
Staying on the strip but decided to venture to downtown for dinner. 100% worth the trip. Best "non-Buffalo" Wings EVER!! The "Mother-Flockers" burned the backs of my eyeballs, but the other varieties were far more accessible and delicious. Fried Chicken was great too.
Service was slow to get me extra side of rice. But the food was delicious which is why I needed more rice for all the chicken I ordered.
I dined with three friends on a Sunday morning. Had hoped to dine from the "brunch" menu - but all we were offered was the regular main menu. The selections on the main menu were outstanding - but at least one of my dining partners had heard there was a brunch menu and was disappointed to not have access to those selections.
Aside from that, the food was very well done and well presented, and the service was way excellent. Would return again.
Delicious. Get the hot wings and Ogden punch. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Prices reasonable.
Would not recommend. The restaurant was not busy so there is no excuse for the awful service. Our waiter was nice and personable but it took nearly an hour for a drink that was ordered after we received our appetizer to show up near the end of dinner. There was no apology or taking the drink off the bill as a courtesy. Instead, we were given an excuse that the bar was crazy. When we walked out after paying our bill (which we barely got to see on the iPad before the waiter flipped it to the payment screen - they only accept cards, no cash), there were maybe four people at the bar.
Food wasn’t special and I felt sick after eating the crack slaw. There are so many great places to eat in Vegas, this is not one of them.

The food was wonderful, interesting and unusual flavors. The bar tender was our waiter too and very nice, but the place seemed understaffed and one of the women's restrooms was quite dirty.
We had scheduled an early dinner as we were going to a concert after. The restaurant was quiet when we first arrived but began to fill up shortly after with larger parties and other couples. The wait staff was helpful in making suggestions on the menu as this was our first time there. We were pleased with all of our choices including the appetizer. The main course took longer than expected and it was explained that the kitchen had gotten backed up. We then had to wait for our check and to have it processed resulting in our parking meter expiring. We ended up with a $20 parking ticket. Not happy with that, but would return. Beware of this, they are right there to ticket anyone with expired meter ticket.
Overall experience was good. Food was great and I would visit again.

Been wanting to try the Hainanese Rice with chicken....I was not disappointed! We were greeted warmly, the waitress was well informed and helped guide our selections and the food was delicious. I really hope this creative friendly restaurant will attract a following as it joins the burgeoning restaurant scene in DTLV
