VERSA NYC welcomes West Village based Flip Sigi and celebrity chef Jordan Andino as they take over VERSA's patio for the duration of the summer. “My Mom and her entire side of her family come from Cebu City, Philippines. I was born in Canada, raised in California and classically trained in Napa and New York City. As a chef, I put a great deal of pressure on myself to disrupt and innovate beyond what is already there. I've always wanted to create a laid-back taqueria-style bar/restaurant that represents what I am all about. I wanted to create a fun joint that celebrates Filipino cuisine in a casual taqueria style setting, easily resonating with people of all ages, no matter what city or country they come from.”

Not worth the money. I was really excited for it, but my expectations weren't met. The Filipino-inspired drinks were OK. The tacos were OK. The longanisa fries were OK, but overall pretty overpriced.

Very limited choices. Noticed a mark-up from their pricing at their regular sites. Promoted the Lechon on Tues but did not say that they it was only available for party of 4.

I’ve tried pop ups for lunch and enjoyed them. So I figured why not for dinner. Wasn’t disappointed. Rooftop and tacos are a perfect combination. ParkNYC made parking at night easy. Elevators were cool. No need to get in and select the floor. You do it from the console. I was expecting more of a crowd, but was greeted with almost having the entire rooftop to ourselves. It was nice. Great weather. Ordered just about everything on the menu. Jackfruit taco was interesting. Gave us a reason to explore this venue having to go through Renaissance hotel, to get to Versa. Would definitely do again!

We made a reservation for 645pm last Saturday evening. When we arrived we were told they didn't have our reservation despite me showing the confirmation from Open Table. This fell on deaf ears to the two Hostesses who Essentially blew us off. Place sucks!

Flip Sigi@ Versa offered an authentic taste of Filipino food with a special twist and leveled up presentation. We loved the lechon with the different sauces and of course, the crispy skin. Their fried rice with coconut was amazing. We also ordered the Taco Party ( adobo chicken taco, lechon taco, and jackfruit taco ) and everything was delicious. The environment was great and the staff were all accommodating and warm. We will definitely come back again and bring our non-Filipino friends.

Lami! The space is beautiful. My wife’s family from Cebu, Philippines was impressed with the food. Thank you!
