FlintCreek Cattle Co.
Flint Creek's menu is an ever rotating selection of modern American cuisine. The items on it frequently change based on the seasonality of the ingredients, ensuring new items are introduced as others leave. Favorites on the menu include Fennel Braised Wild Boar Shoulder, Durham Ranch Bison Hangar Steak, and the Oven Roasted Duck Confit.
The waiter was very friendly and patient with us on our first time in. We took his recommendation on the rib chop and it was delicious. I will definitely return!
Farm to table establishment that hits all the notes for millennials focused Seattle demographic. Food was competently prepared to expectations. We had the Pork Chop and the mushroom Bolognese. The Pork Chop was very good prepared with grits and what was described as red eye gravy. This was a flavorful version but very different from a traditional preparation. The Mushroom Bolognese was outstanding. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the Bolognese sauce was the winner in our group. Cocktails were soundly endorsed all the way around. Th wine list is very limited but an impressive selection of top flight Bourbons. Parking is a challenge with limited public parking. Best plan for that if you visit. Overall a solid variation on the traditional steakhouse. If you are looking for something that is low lit, quiet elegance or pages of wine selections this might not be your target. However, hard to imagine anyone being disappointed
AMAZING!!! AMAZING!!! AMAZING!!!
Four of us went to celebrate the launch of our new website. A special cremant toast started our evening off on the right note. We shared a variety of items which were all amazing -- 2 fantastic salads, venison pâté, mussels, salmon, bison hanger steak, wild mushroom Bolognese and we finished the evening off with four out-of-this-world desserts.
The service was friendly, knowledgeable and on point all night long.
Looking forward to returning.
Great service and wonderful food. Steaks came out a little "blue" instead of medium rare and the kitchen and service team were happy to give them a little more time on the grill. Clearly a place that wants you to enjoy your food. The pork chop is the best pork chop ever.
Delicious food. Lovely spot, great service
Great service and really cool space. Food was good but went in expecting great, likely because I was holding Flint Creek to Rock Creek standards. I'll definitely be back.
Service and Steaks was amazing.
Really delicious filet and pork chop— and everything else !
The food was delicious, very good service. A little pricey but totally worth it for a date night.
Amazing! Service was great would definitely go back and try more delicious food!
the food descriptions didn't quite match up with what was served. For example, we ordered the elk rack which we were told was served medium rare, it is safe to say it was closer to rare. We also ordered the boar shoulder, also safe to say it was a gnocchi dish with boar as more of a side then the star.
Their best dinner is the ribeye, but our medium rare steaks were both served seared but raw in the center so we sent them back. The kitchen further cooked the steaks, but there were still not perfect as has always been the case in the past when we have been there. Four of us shared four salads: duck confit, BLT, baby gem and burrata, all of which were delicious! The desert, sort of a Foster's Banana split was also delicious. The service was a little sluggish but we are always expecting perfect service. This was only 4 star--not 5 star. Overall, a good dinner, however, and a reasonably good value.
It was a nice surprise to find a parking lot - this wasn't mentioned on the web site and parking in the neighborhood can be difficult at times.
We were taken upstairs to a table, which seemed a bit odd given that there were empty tables on the ground floor - but it was just a bit more quiet upstairs and it was fun to people-watch looking down over the railing so we actually preferred it up there.
Service was attentive and quick, especially since food and beverage had to be brought upstairs.
The food was excellent. My wife had the duck confit (recommended by a friend), I had chicken and we plan to return soon to sample other menu items. Portions were also reasonable - not wastefully huge but certainly sufficient.
LOVE this place! Everything is always so delicious and thoughtfully put together, not to mention looks stunning! Great service, we sat upstairs this time and that was a nice view. Decor is kind of "industrial" i guess? Metal and wood and open spaces with big windows. Waters were always full, which I appreciate. I got a Rhubarb 76 to drink and it was so nice and fresh! Will definitely go back :)
Great room. Great food. Looking forward to our next visit.
This place is a true treasure for Seattle food lovers! Everything was interesting and well balanced for flavor. Really really excited to go back again!
Staff went out of their way to help us split several dishes amongst us. They also were great in helping make sure we stuck to a time deadline we had.
The jalepenio muscles were delicious. 8 oz. filet was cooked perfectly.
We celebrated Father's Day at FlintCreek. Our service was excellent-very unassuming but still attentive. Our starter salads were good; mixed greens and the BLT salad but could have been seasoned with salt a bit more. Our entrees, the King salmon and duck were both excellent. For dessert we ordered the molten chocolate cake with peanut ice-cream. The cake was not gooey, as the name suggests, but dry, the ice-cream had an excellent peanut flavor. This is not our first time dining at FlintCreek, and as always it is a loud environment.
FlintCreek Cattle Co is an interesting restaurant. They have done a great job with the decor. Some of the food is quite excellent, while other dishes were just OK.
The prosciutto was top notch. The duck breast was just OK. The wild boar shoulder was amazing, but the oysters were so bad we had to send them back.
Their drink menu is extensive and the drinks we ordered were prepared well and tasty. Our server was excellent, as was most of the service we received.
The issue is that for the price point, there are much better options in Seattle. It is a great idea to have a nicer restaurant in Greenwood, but FlintCreek needs to just be a bit more consistent with their food to justify the prices. Maybe even just cutting some items off of the menu to highlight the things they do well.
Excellent duck confit & tasty pork chop! But, they were out of champagne? Too bad. Better restock before the next visit!
Great ambiance and the salmon was perfectly cooked-not overdone. The warm olives are surprisingly satisfying! And cocktails were solid. Top of the line in Greenwood! Definitely best option in the area!
This is our favorite restaurant to treat ourselves (my husband and I) . It’s our favorite and most special place to go together. We took our dad there last night from out of town. Everything was great (for the first time the steak (filet) ordered was not prepared to specifications- asked for medium and it came rare). Everything else was fantastic - thank you for all that you do!

I booked a reservation via the Open Table app, arrived about half an hour early and checked in just in case they were able to seat us early, and they were, which was nice. And they were very pleasant and friendly with that and throughout our time there. They were also great about seating us near a window and away from the entrance, per the special request I put in my reservation. The hostess noted the request without any prompting and made sure the spot she picked out was what I was aiming for, and it was. The food came out in a logical order, didn't take long, and was not just delicious but interesting. My one complaint is that the very good, and unique, Belgian endive salad was more oily than I thought it had to be. The venison pate small plate was only good, not very good or great. The wild boar shoulder with parmesan-potato gnocchi on the other hand was great and it'll be hard to make myself try a different main dish next time. The oven roasted duck confit was also great, and these two main dishes complemented each other very well. Great food, great experience, great service, very good ambience, noise level a little high but still reasonable. Looking forward to my next meal at FlintCreek Cattle Co.
Excellent service and the food was quite good! Our chocolate Lava cake was just cake without the lava...but it was still yummy. The noise level was quite high and we had a hard time hearing each other...so if you want a quiet romantic dining experience, this is not the place for that. Other than the noise, I highly recommend!
Wonderful food and ambience. Friendly and professional staf. Braised Wild boar shoulder was delectable and the roast chicken succulent and juicy. Best green salad anywhere!
We sat upstairs Wednesday June 5 5:45 reservation. The waitress was exceptionally good. Tuna was outstanding.
Cuts of meat were excellent. Cocktails were da bomb, I had two. Servers worked their butts off-we ate upstairs. Salad-at that price for a Caesar I expect the leaves to be prepped like I do at home, with the white mealy center rib of the romaine torn out and thrown in the compost, not served. Of course we will go back!
Place is physically really unpleasant. Screaming loud, which is unavoidable the way it’s constructed. We chose to eat on the second floor, I was really looking forward to watching the pulse of Greenwood below. But the glass treatment completely blocks the view of the street. And, that staircase. Y’all need a dumb waiter, the existing setup is hell on personnel. Who were all smiling and professional, but their working conditions bothered me.
There were four of us and every one of us loved our meal. Service was great, food was great, they were able to seat us before our reservation. All around a great experience.
This used to be one of my preferred restaurants in town. Service and food quality have definitely slipped a notch.
We went for my 30th birthday and every single thing we had was delicious. The steak was one of the best I have ever had
We have eaten at flintCreek twice and are delighted with it! The grits are to die for. We also loved our server, very attentive without being intrusive. FlintCreek is 8 minutes away from our home, and along with Munir, we consider it our "sort of" neighborhood restaurant.
We also love RockCreek, both for dinner and fabulous brunch.
Pricey but very good.
Dinner was Amazing. The squash with pistachio, wonderful, halibut steak, perfect, scalloped potatoes excellent, and the lemon/oil/brulee incredible.
Service was impeccable. This is a new favorite place.
Great for a special date with kids who appreciate nice food! We took our 5yo twins and it was such a treat. The staff were all so sweet to the boys and had coloring stuff for them. It’s a somewhat noisy restaurant with cozy seating, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed and casual while still offering more upscale food.
The smoky squash with burrata was especially yummy. The boar was perfectly seasoned. We’ll be back!
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was perfect for a date or even just a casual dinner with friends. Music level was reasonable and the noise level was quite low. Would 10/10 go back and plan to!
Food was very on point. We had duck and wild boar for the main course. We dine out often as well as cook often at home. It was great to see dishes that are not the norm for every restaurant in King County. The duck confit salad blew us away. If it’s on the menu, get it. No need to thank me. Service was amazing. Timely, not rushed, but attentive. Wine list was solid. We enjoyed a bottle of a local Syrah from a smaller producer that wasn’t marked up an outrageous amount. It was a dinner near the top of my list for 2019 thus far.
Food quite good, but far too noisy for conversation.
We love Flint Creek Cattle Co. It is our go to spot for excellent steak and chops. Be prepared to wait. On a Saturday night the kitchen is very slow. We placed our drink order followed by our appetizer and dinner order at the same time. The lag time between our appetizers and entrees was much too long. The bottle of wine corked to have with our entrees was enjoyably sipped, yet gone by the time food arrived.
One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle. Food quality, service and atmosphere never disappoints.
