FlintCreek Cattle Co.
Flint Creek's menu is an ever rotating selection of modern American cuisine. The items on it frequently change based on the seasonality of the ingredients, ensuring new items are introduced as others leave. Favorites on the menu include Fennel Braised Wild Boar Shoulder, Durham Ranch Bison Hangar Steak, and the Oven Roasted Duck Confit.
This neighborhood restaurant never disappoints! I took a friend from out of town and she was blown away by the food. From apps to mains to dessert, FlintCreek delivered! But perhaps what made our evening so wonderful was the phenomenal service we received -- just the right amount of attentive that made sure our needs were anticipated and met, but also that we could enjoy our conversation. Can't rave enough about this place.
This was the best food I’ve eaten in my entire life.
This is our fourth time at FlintCreek and every time has been a very good to excellent experience. We will certainly come there again.
The restaurant was very noisy. Had lots of interesting food choices. Tried things we never ate before and enjoyed.
Our son was home from college and wanted to give him one good steak dinner before heading back. We all shared a burrata which was delish! Then my son and I both ordered rib eyes which we cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the chicken which had a great crispy skin and moist meat. Overall great experience.
The service was off. It seemed like they are doing a job without any passion, just interested in talking to each other not watching their tables. The food was good. I would not go back.
We were excited to eat brunch here because it’s sister restaurant, RockCreek, is a favorite of ours for any meal, including brunch. FlintCreek just doesn’t measure up. It’s not poor, but the quality is lower than the prices. Perhaps it is excellent for dinner, but we will not be back for brunch.
Just went here for brunch for the first time. Nice options for brunch, each with a little extra flair that makes them special. The eggs benedict was delicious - really amazing sauce!
A great combination of flavors, preparation, presentation and excellent staff. (We loved the diversity of the staff.) Our "server" was Amalia. How refreshing not to be told all of our choices were "perfect," as is the case in most other restaurants around town. You know, "I'll have the black garlic caesar." "Perfect," the server replies. A meaningless reply and we hate it! However, with Amalia, we got a knowledgeable lady. She knew her wine, knows something about Washington State terroir and could hold her own in a conversation about some very specific inquiries. Amalia's knowledge of the menu was excellent and quite helpful. The place is crowded, our reservation was honored in a timely manner. Though busy, the pace of the meal was leisurely and never rushed.
About that black garlic caesar, yummy. Croutons delicately flavored, crispy with just the right amount of anchovies. Well dressed and a nice start to the meal. I would advise buying your own salad and not ordering this plate to share as it is not a generous portion, just a delicious one. All of the side dishes tired were good, worked with the entrees and ones we saw passing by to other tables all looked tasty. For the main event, I had black peppercorn crusted venison. It was on a bed of the creamiest, whitest parsnip puree, covered with a cranberry gastrique and a few fried sage leaves. Oh my gosh. Not fussy, not too much, all of it executed with balance and flavor and presented with such simple style.
All of the dishes at our table were excellent. I only want to call out one more item. That is the potato parmesan gnocchi served along with the braised shoulder of wild boar. I am not a gnocchi fan. Oftentimes too clunky, thick, flavorless, little lumps of mush. These were like pillows of heavenly, creamy, cheesy potatoes. A nice surprise and compliment to he very hearty (and delicious) wild boar.
Don't forget to share a banana split!
Love the feel of this place. They have a purpose and stick to it. Food is clean and fresh and full of flavor.
New favorite place. Found it through an article , it was featured as one of the best brunch places in Seattle and it didnt lie: loved the benedict
Went for brunch. My mushroom omelette was ok but did not leave me wanting to return for more. The bacon side was great. Will try out dinner next time around...
That was one of the best meals out I have had in a long time! I like Flint Creek, but this dinner was really memorable and delicious. My husband and I split a steak with the grits as a side and a salad before. Really really yummy!! A cocktail before was splendid and the service was also notable. Five stars!
The venison was especially outstanding. This place is always good, and our server was top notch.
This place is one of the best place to eat in all of Seattle. Don't miss it!
Service and Food are just A+ here. Eric and the whole crew just make dinner special at FlintCreek
Great food. Good drinks. Excellent, friendly service.
Our favorite place. Never disappoints.
Really need to work our staffing issues. The bar was unable to handle our drink orders (twice!) in a timely manner. Oh, and that was after being seated and left alone for 20 minutes. Whoops! Pretty sure if I'm dropping $300 for dinner, the service ought to be better.
A beautiful space situated on the corner of a bustling block with lots of little stores and restaurants. The food was SO delicious; comfort food elevated to another level. Unique and tasty. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. New favorite
Food was brought to the table in less than 3 minutes after ordering all at the same time; the worst part was that it was cold. Overpriced, underwhelming and lukewarm.
Best omelette I have ever eaten! And I have eaten a lot of omelettes...
Undercooked one steak and overcooked the other
Food was delicious but the drinks were OUTSTANDING! We will be back :)
The food really wasn’t good enough to warrant these prices. I ordered a $48 ribeye, rare. They served me a steak that was somewhere between medium and well done and dry. I sent it back and the next one was a bit more rare but still closer to medium and not especially tender. Disappointing.
Great meal and service! Will return to try out the rest of the small plates.
So great. The food here is sublime. Great service and well worth the price
We celebrated my moms birthday breakfast here. Beautiful restaurant and bar with upstairs seating. All food was fresh. Coffee was great! The service was excellent! We will definitely be coming back to eat dinner here in the near future. Make sure to find either street parking or a lot nearby.
Great setting, amazing food, amazing bar. It's a splurge but very much worth it. Their recipes are ambitious and they really pull them off--fantastic quality of ingredients, too. Just what you want from a steakhouse. Staff were super nice, though our waiter was kind of a robot. Would definitely go back.
Food was excellent as was the service. Noise level was higher than I like.
It was amazing. Everything we had was good. Bison, lamb, oysters, gnocchi, grits, olives, brûlée banana split, lava cake, cocktails. To die for.
The food is incredible but what made our experience over the top was the service. Our server was great. My date has Celiac and our server was extremely attentive to the allergy. The kitchen as well made everything perfectly delicious but also with great care not to cross contaminate. We have a hard time eating out because of the severity of the allergy and this was the first date we have had worry free with an amazing meal.
This was my second time dining here and it was another amazing experience. The wait staff was excellent. The waiter suggested some great things to share with our group. Each dish was superb and we had just the right amount of food. We had the filet and it was one of the most tender I have ever eaten. Highly recommend this place! Oh - did I mention they have a parking lot just for their customers? JOY!
Our server Al was very attentive and the food was delicious! Will be back!!!
Very noisy and hard to have a conversation. Good service, food and everything else except the cocktails. I was disappointed by their cocktails
It was a little loud but the food was fantastic, wait staff amazing and as always the restaurant is gorgeous.
My husband, son and daughter in law love this restaurant. I do appreciate the unique menu and attention to detail. However my chicken was a bit tough.
I was expecting a good meal but my expectations were far exceeded. Every plate and drink we ordered was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great experience! We moved here from NYC and there I would rate the food 4 or 4.5 in NYC, but it's definitely a 5 for Seattle.
I had the wild mushroom eggs benedict. The hollandaise was spot on and mushrooms and sauce took me back to one of my fav breakfast spots in Brooklyn. Potatoes were even yummy with a bit of shallots mixed in. Coffee was good and strong.
My other half had the duck starter salad, it was quite good. She didn't see that it came with the chevre, and it's needed to give the plate zing, but I liked with the chevre. a bit more dressing or salt would have been great, but I like my salt. I was sad that the polenta dish was sold out as it souded quite good, but I would definitely come back again.
For the price in the city it's worth it. ou may as well pay a few dollars more because the quality is sooooo much higher than many places.
Great great menu, great food, great service. Only nitpick is that backless stools are really uncomfortable.
