Flint Creek Cattle Company is a new American steak restaurant that emphasizes ethically raised beef and sustainable farm practices. The dining area is extremely wide open and spacious. There is a large, high vaulted ceiling in addition to floor-to-ceiling windows that lets in lots of natural light and lets guests feel like they are eating outside.

Flint Creek's menu is an ever rotating selection of modern American cuisine. The items on it frequently change based on the seasonality of the ingredients, ensuring new items are introduced as others leave. Favorites on the menu include Fennel Braised Wild Boar Shoulder, Durham Ranch Bison Hangar Steak, and the Oven Roasted Duck Confit.

FlintCreek Cattle Co is not your daddy's steak house. The courses the two of us had included creative and sublime preparations of a new zealand venison loin and a braised wild boar shoulder. The imaginative starter of yellowfin tuna tartar beat any sushi or ceviche I've had recently. It's fine dining in the Greenwood neigborhood.

Flint always delivers and our last visit was no exception. Great staff, superb cocktails and amazing food. Very happy to see another key Seattle restaurant weather the COVID Storm. The New York was a standout, as was the burrata & squash. That said, you really can’t go wrong with anything off the menu!

It was nutty…

My husband has a nut allergy. It was really off putting how many of the dishes had nuts, the first two appetizers came with nuts , and I mentioned to the waitress to check the mussels and hanger steak because he couldn’t have nuts.

Out comes the Hanger Steak… covered in walnuts. When we asked nicely to have it fixed she said we never told her, its on the menu and that we should have known better… then returned the same steak which they just wiped the nuts off.

She said at the end I would offer you a dessert menu but they all have nuts…..Really? There were 4 of us at dinner…one with a nut allergy.

Not what I expect from a restaurant like this in service or sensitivity to people that have life threatening allergies.

Tasty food if you enjoy snarky servers and being made to feel like you are not welcome, and then pay top dollar for it.

The beef was excellent as was the flavors and presentation. I ordered the duck unfortunately. After all this is a cattle company. And I was the only one disappointed. However, I shared the filet with my daughter and it was yummy.

Nice lineup of unique meat dominant plates. I had wild boar and it was fantastic. Drinks were overpriced, even by seattle standards and we felt "rushed" by our server. Will we go back? Definitely.

Great selection all around. The black cod fish was spectacular. Moist and delicious. Perhaps one of the best fish I’ve ever had. All our small plates were great as well. Venison tasted perfect. Warm duck confit salad a must

As an older couple with a reservation, we were dismayed to be seated at the backmost, noisiest, least comfortable table in a virtually empty restaurant, but the waitress was happy to correct the hostesses excessive bow to the youth vibe this place is working hard to maintain. The bar is adequate, but lacks top shelf vodka or tequila - a surprise at a chop house.

One of the things we came back for was the crispy veg appy, but it was not what we remembered. The beet salad was high quality but lacked seasoning and acid. The meats were excellent product - venison and wild boar. Both were over seasoned but delicious.

The wait staff is brilliantly trained. Empty plates were removed instantly by the first staffer walking by and it didn't matter whose station it was.

The music was loud, resounding and not very good. The general noise level was very high. We wanted to love the place.

As always we had a great time. We were lucky enough to be there on the first the menu had been expanded since reopening (all great additions). TThe food is nothing short of amazing. We enjoyed the Spiced Duck Confit, NZ Venison Loin, NZ Elk Rack, and the New York strip w/ a small plate of grits for the side. The food was well cooked, and the taste, incredible. The entire mood of the restaurant was lively and fun. Our server was so sweet, and helped make great picks when we were undecisive. We had all the desserts, and they even helped out one of our picky eaters who doesn't like peanuts. If you are thinking about going, go!

12 Oz chop waa the best.

Better desciptions of side options would have been helpful. Potatoes we delicious, but had to ask for them. I think I may have ordered additional side if I had know options.

We went there before several times, but this time were disappointed. The food and service weren't as good as we remembered, and they served us raw fish and the waitress told us that they usually cook it medium. I never heard about a fish cooked medium before..

Wow. We were blown away by how wonderful our experience was. The food was creative without being alienating. Each dish was perfectly prepared, with just-right proportions. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive but not overly so. We truly had an epic meal and highly recommend FlintCreek.

We loved Flintcreek! We ordered bread, tartare, and the grilled egg plant to start. The tartare was amazing, though we liked the other small plates we got as well. Additionally, we order the black cod and gnocchi and loved both! The service was great too.

Delightful experience. Innovative flavours (try the special cocktails), great service, comfortable atmosphere. I did have an issue with my entrée - it had a prominent ingredient (that I have a severe aversion to - like, can't eat it, it tastes that awful to me) that was not listed on the menu. Our server quickly made a thoughtful substitution that kept the character of the dish, yet omitted the offending ingredient. Saved our special meal.

Would highly recommend, and we'll definitely come again for a date night.

Overall pretty good but the food was fairly bland/minimal. Medium rare steak was served rare which is an embarrassing mistake for a steakhouse to make.
