Sat outside on a great evening. We were seated immediately. Our server and the rest of the staff did a great job. The food was outstanding. Will be back.
Wonderful service, my filet was perfect! My husband said the sweet potato fries were the best he’s ever had! Only issues were the sausage/cheese/fruit starter plate we got didn’t have a ton of food for the price, compared to say a similar board at Whiskey Cake.
The food was cooked perfectly and delicious. Our server was busy with outside tables as well as ours so there were long gaps before he would come back to our table. But the other staff stepped in and helped check on us between the host and bartender they helped make the dinner great. Based on food alone we will return.
The pancakes are phenomenal. Great customer service. Beautiful ambience.
Good was good but I didn't think Thu here was anything really special on the menu. The restaurant is very clean and the staff were great. It did feel like a hotel restaurant.
It was fine. Expensive for drinks & what we got.
It was a Monday so I think Flint had the doldrums. The place is gorgeous but the service and food was just so so.
We had an okay experience. The food was average. The restaurant was nice and the service was great. I would go there again.
Fantastic service, great price, and over satisfied! will return.
Had a reservation but the table wasn't ready and then we were sat right next to the kitchen despite the restaurant not being that busy.
Serving were small for the prices they charged. I order the shrimp and grits which were good but the could have added some bread or something else to the meal.
The first time we went, food and staff were amazing. There was an unruly, drunk table that made it difficult to enjoy. Second time, my steak was charred and tough on the outside, cold and raw on the inside. I ordered it medium.
Food was not cooked correctly
"Wanted: Chef for an impressive venue." Yep, that's what Flint needs, a chef with some abilities to turn the menu into something interesting and compelling instead of frozen features from Ben E Keith that the cook can prepare. I should have looked at the menu more carefully before making reservations.
The restaurant features nothing exclusive or interesting on its menu. When I inquired about the evening's specials, I was told no specials just the single page menu spit out of the printer. Three steaks, two fish, fried chicken, a pasta dish, a vegetarian dish, shrimp, turkey, and huevos. That's it. Prominently featured with more than a few dishes: Macaroni and Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, and Grits. Almost 50% of the menu features Garlic Butter Green Beans.
We opted for a simple soup and salad. Both were palatable and imminently forgettable. Spinach with various toppings and a vinaigrette. Tomato and Roasted Garlic Bisque featuring Rosemary Melted Leeks is a simple soup (not a bisque). The cook thinks about rosemary while drenching slivers of leeks in EVOO.
Although Flint has an impressive wine menu with many great wines, I am not sure what pairs well with "Turkey n' Taters" on the menu. I'm guessing something from the elderberry varietal in vintage last week, maybe?
Flint sits on one of the busiest and most interesting corners in OKC across from the Myriad Botanical Gardens, but the restaurant is forgettable with banal, dreary service. The Cocktail I had was a spot on Sazerac. Not the best in OKC, but a well-prepared drink. Our wine was Ned Sauvignon Blanc (if I remember correctly). It's a nice balanced white from New Zealand priced per glass at that of the retail bottle.
The action on the street outside Flint is lively and captivating. Go to Flint to enjoy a cocktail on the patio while people watching. Dine elsewhere.
Our server was attentive without trying to rush us through our meal. The mains were well-done. The pimento cheese appetizer could use some heat; it was garnished with jalapeno rings but would benefit from some peppers incorporated into the cheese itself. It came with plenty of fried wontons to scoop it up. The bar service was a tad inconsistent with their garnishes - their 212 cocktail sometimes came with cherries but once arrived without them. The bartender did execute a boulevardier with perfection.
Filet looked very good and tasted pretty good. Spinach salad was good. Chicken fried ribeye was burned and dry. Jalapeño hush puppies were crunchy and burned. Waiter did a very good job. Ceases salad was a little below average. Mashed potatoes were good. Was a little surprised that where we sat, every time someone opened the door, we were bit with a cold breeze, and that probably happens 10-15 times while we were eating
For two people, $120, I was disappointed to say the least. I had always heard great things. I definitely wish I would have tried the steak instead of the chicken fry.
It took a long time to get our meal and it was underwhelming. Our hummus appetizer was super salty. The service was great and the restaurant is beautiful but the food is average.
Out of several items. Couldn’t access store room for certain vegetables due to lock key fob malfunction?
Meat/cheese app had 5 pcs salami. Not as advertised.
Chicken fried ribeye was overcooked, burned and hard.
Service was terrible and food was average at best.
The staff was wonderful and the food was great. Felt very safe eating there.
Great brunch menu! Enjoyed a wonderful meal and great service, thank you!
It was lovely server forgot pita bread but that was it
This was our first nice meal out since Covid. Everything was great! As was the waiter. We weren’t rushed at all. We were able to finish our before dinner cocktails before the salad came. Our entree came when we finished our salads. My husband had the shrimp and grits and said it was the best he’s ever had. It’s ruined him for anyone’s else’s!! I had the filet which was cooked perfect and tender
We’ll definitely be back!
We booked Flint on back-to-back days for the food, ambience...but mostly due to our server John who was amazing to spend the morning with.
We celebrated our friends birthday dinner there the food and wine was excellent.
Very underwhelming, would rather eat somewhere else knowing the food could be better and better service. Flint has a very fancy facade so if you need the fancy look for a night then it'll do the job
Fantastic lunch menu and a perfect place to meet prior to walking the Myriad Gardens.
Food hit the spot - so glad we chose this venue.
We were disappointed with our meal. We made a reservation a few weeks ago and were looking forward to visiting. The server was not friendly and seemed to be rushing us through the ordering and the meal. We felt like were an inconvenience. The food was okay. The fried chicken seemed slightly burnet. The baked okie pimento cheese was delicious; we loved the fried flour tortilla chips. The BBQ cheese burger was good. We enjoyed the table by the window.
The food was horrible, the service was horrible
It took 30 minutes to get two bowls of soup
We had to return our soup
I ordered fruit to replace. The food was delivered when we were ready to leave
Needed the water glasses refilled.
Not busy, no reason for bad service.
Will never return
Reservations were for outdoor dining. It was windy, so we opted for a table inside. We were disappointed to discover that they no longer have live music on the patio on Sundays and were told they didn't know if it would ever come back after Covid-19.
Service was outstanding. They even made an off-menu cocktail for us. As usual, the food was excellent,
Staff worked well with each other and were able to accommodate our girl's night. so grateful for the Bar/Manager. Wished we got his name because he made us feel so welcomed and made the most delicious drinks. the food was amazing!
Atmosphere, service, food - excellent, as always. And the valet parking is great.
Mostly a good experience! The only suggestion I would offer is maybe hiring more wait staff. Our waitress seemed busy and pre-occupied. Drinks (water) were unfilled, bar items were not delivered timely nor did the appetizer come out. It had to be removed from our bill as we never received it. Our waitress seemed busy and unfriendly.
It was one of the worst experience I have had in a restaurant. We went for my birthday and I had wanted to eat there for years and we made a reservation a week before. When we got there we were seated but then sat there for over 10 min with no one helping us. At least 5 different waiters Wales by and no one helped us. Finally after quit some time I asked a gentleman cleaning a table if we could get a waiter and maybe order some drinks and maybe order. The gentleman replied with “ok what do you want to eat”. So at this point we left as we felt like we were bothering them by just wanting to order.
Great meal, atmosphere and service!!
Spicy Margaritas along with beef/noodles so good!
Everything was amazing!
Everything was great from the food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere. I was able to split and special entree and sub sides and when the size of streak that came with the meal. The drinks were make exactly as ordered and the server had great suggestions as well.
It was Sunday brunch and the restaurant was very understaffed.
The drinks, food and service were excellent. Kevin was fantastic in the bar.
The drinks were very good. Did not have mains, just sides/appetizers. They were good. Nothing extraordinary. I really liked the ambiance and the service. Our waiter was superb.
