I love this place! Great food and great service!!!!
Went to Flint for Sunday brunch. Great food and service! Loved the breakfast tacos! Best reason to visit Flint is for the bartender, Kevin, to make you a cocktail!!! He is well experienced and professional. He will make you a drink that you will remember forever. We always make a visit to Flint when in the OKC area.
Date night out of the snow
Food was great!
We were there after the big snowstorm and it was also during Covid. The food was great. Service was quite slow but maybe all of the staff could not get to work or maybe they were understaffed because of Covid. We would go again. The food was awesome!
We were immediately greeted and serve an amazing crafted cocktail.. without much to do we were seated at a table for two by a very romantic fireplace.. every course of our Valentines set menu was not only delicious but an artful presentation. The service throughout the evening was unparalleled ...well above the normal expectations... we can wait to return for another enchanted evening
Very disappointed! Our first time to the restaurant and our expectations were high. It was very cold outside and almost as cold inside. We saw a service tech walk through the restaurant, however the situation was not remedied while we were therevThe service was inattentive if not altogether absent. The restaurant was not very full. It seemed as if most of the staff was concerned with a “bourbon and bites“ special that the restaurant was hosting at the other side of the restaurant. The menu was obviously limited as is the case with many restaurants, however it was early in the evening and they were already out of one of the main entrées.Our chosen entrée was a beef roast over noodles dish. It arrived to the table cold and dried out from having sat in the pass too long. I had to get up from the table to request salt, there was never a refill on water and I had to grab a server to request a check. They did not come by the table after the entrée was served to see if everything was all right, if we needed anything else or even to offer dessert. We were very disappointed
The Highwest Bourbons and pairing choices were spot on. Great food and drink, and great education along the way. We’re adding this to our monthly date night calendar!
Good food and priced well. No complaints
The brunch menu was very vanilla and basic. Was expecting more
Food, atmosphere, and service were phenomenal.
I was very impressed with the Covid safety protocols in place. Masks, distancing of tables, gloves worn. We hadn’t been out in months and this was hands down the safest place I’ve seen. The pimento cheese dip is phenomenal. My husband said his rib eye was the best he’s had in ages. Overall I was very pleased!
The service and drinks were great but the food was way overpriced for the quality.
Went for my son birthday. Was not busy. Seemed to be only one server. Took a while to get things but the food was excellent! Salmon was cooked the way I requested it. Daughter in law loved the shrimp and grits. Said it was the best she had!
We went to Flint for Brunch
Zero ambiance or atmosphere for a New Years Eve dinner, service poor - one waiter working entire section, manager totally unprofessional. Felt like a brightly lit diner. Food was very good so wasn’t a total bust.
New Years Eve
The food was wonderful, the lights just low enough to create an adult ambiance. It was lovely! The prime rib is perfection, and the salads are the freshest in town. A perfect place for pretheatre or game meet up with friends.
The Flint Restaurant is very attractively furnished and clean. The social distancing was of the highest caliber.
Our server started out with a very negative attitude, which seemed to worsen as the meal went along. Our food arrived just barely warm and one prime rib was nearly well done even though we ordered medium rare. The server never appeared, even to clear away our salad plates, until we were finished eating. In view of the fact that it was Christmas, we decided to just make the best of the situation and just enjoyed one another's company. Dessert was served but no coffee was offered and when we asked for whipped cream for our pumpkin pie, we were told that somebody would have to go down stairs and get it.
After we left we discussed our experience and one of my party said she had watched another served at a table near us and it appeared that their server was very pleasant and was at their table any number of times and stayed nearby in the background whereas ours just disappeared.
The next day I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager, a gentleman named Justin, and told him what had transpired. He listened very patiently and, after asking several questions, said he would refund the price of the meal. I told him that we had eaten the meal but he said it was not what should happened and our Christmas dinner should have been a pleasant one.
I have received the refund and will return to the Flint. This is because I feel the manager is very sincere in wanting everyone's eating experience to be a pleasant affair.
And I'd like to erase the rather negative opinion with which I left that day.
Great venue for Christmas lunch with my wife food was excellent and the atmosphere was great!! The pumpkin and pecan pie was best I ever had. My wife and I have dined at Flint many times in the past. Never been disappointed.
Service was slow and food was not hot. Just not up to higher end quality.
Salad’s were below average
Had catfish and the sauce made half of it uneaten. Chicken fired steak was good Dessert was average.
Party of two on Christmas Eve. Our server was very nice and she had a very difficult table next to us. May give them a try when outdoor dining is open. First time customer
Another memorable experience!
We had a $42 steak and it was not good... fatty and had some gristle. I would not go back.
Service was terrible. Food was decent. The place itself was really nice. For the cost though, we were not impressed.
Great food and drinks!!!
A bright spot during the recent power outage for good food, service and value.
Good food & comfortable seating. Great dinner. If I had to pick something to improve, it was easy to hear all the conversations coming from the kitchen. But definitely not a deal breaker.
Maybe the host didn’t communicate but it took our server over ten min to bring us water and greet us. When she did she didn’t mention the wait and just seemed annoyed we were there the whole time. It wasn’t busy. The cheese board was $12 and had old apple slices, four piece of cheese and some bread...not worth it at all. Our mains were fine but nothing to make up for the ambivalent service and mediocre at best beginning.
Not going back.
Great food and great service in a downtown location.
Worst experience I have ever
Justin was an excellent host/server. The food was very good. Steak was a slightly overcooked but still delicious. I recommebt
Great location and setting. Service was a little slow even though it was not a busy day. Food was very tasty.
My wife and I had a wonderful evening. I recommend this restaurant for everyone.
Good time, only had the cheese board due to slightly slow service and being on a time crunch!
Oh it was amazing we will be back to try dinner next !!!
The atmosphere and the food were both excellent! My friends and I will be back for brunch again!
It took a while for someone to acknowledge use when waiting to be seated. They weren’t busy by the way
It was our 18 year wedding anniversary and we chose to dine with Flint because we ate there for our ten year. We were a little early than our reservation time but since it wasn’t a full house that wasn’t an issue. We were placed near a table of the hotel entrance near a table with a family and several children. The kids were playing games in between tables and making a lot of noise. Our waitress was also doing room service and would disappear for long periods of time. I had asked for a glass of wine with our steak and it never came. We were not charged so I didn’t complain. Our steak was supposed to be medium and it came out like jerky. It was dry and well done. We also had to ask for our candle to be lit. It was so disappointing that was our 18th wedding anniversary celebration. It felt like we were eating in a family restaurant and there was nothing made special about it. In the end my husband and I agreed at least we were together.
It was okay. Limited menu due to covid, not many people in restaurant.
