Otis the server was fantastic and very attentive.
The entire experience was great. All staff members were personable and kind. The lighting and atmosphere were great to make it not too noisy inside. Overall great experience!
Found about Flint through OpenTable and it was a true hidden gem. We dine downtown/midtown very often but never even saw this place. We got very lucky with Kevin as our server. He’s fantastic. Super personable and knows the menu like the back of his hand. Wish there were more servers like Kevin out there! I don’t throw this type of stuff out often but they might have the best macaroni and cheese and old fashioned in OKC.
Excellent experience - fresh, delicious food and beautiful setting.
It took awhile to get a bottle of wine to the table and then awhile for the food to be made. When the food did arrive, it was luke warm like it had been sitting awhile. The chicken was dry and was only seasoned with salt and pepper. The pork porterhouse had a good flavor, but the cream corn highly lacked. The restaurant itself didn’t feel or look that busy, so it was curious that it took a long time to finally eat. Our server was nice, but overall, he was not that personable or highly knowledgeable about the menu. Will not return.
Normally the food and service are great. Service struggled a bit tonight.
Nice ambiance right from walking in and excellent service from start to finish. Creative cocktail menu, every one we ordered was on point. The best Mac and cheese possibly anywhere I have been. Overall broad menu to cover any palette. And a very nice dessert sampler to finish up. Definitely wi be back if travelling through OKC again.
It was busier than expected but it was also a thunder game night. Mekhai (sp?) was our server and was very attentive and knowledgeable with great recommendations. The food was a little slow coming out but it was VERY busy, and quite honestly the food was soooo delicious that it was worth the wait. The seared statler chicken was amazing, sweet potato fries were wonderfully seasoned and crunchy, mac and cheese was rich and creamy, and the oaxacan cocktail was one of the best drinks I’ve had in town.
It’s amazing to me that a restaurant that’s across from the basketball arena can’t get people in and out in less than 1 1/2 hours before a basketball tip. And it’s been that way forever. Seems really too bad. Food is decent. Help is pleasant enough
Food was amazing great taste the service was putting down if you didn’t look like you had money
This was our second bad experience. We won't be going back. Tables without a reservation were sat before those with one. Our food was cold and my spouse saw someone touching his food with their bare hands. Our waiter wouldn't bring requested items. We couldn't get refills and the hostess was very rude.
3egg omelet?? Just a small ladle of eqq mix. Not fresh, very basic. Hospital- food like.
Bananas foster french toast? Bananas were marinated, very little syrup/ topping - definitely not worth the hype. Unless you want thick, dry unflavored bread.
They had decaf coffee on the menu but staff said they don’t have it. No decaf/ low caf tea, either. So no decaf hot drink options for pregnant guests.
Civic center performs.
Great food, great service. We love Flint!
Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and great food/service!
We were seated and waited ten minutes before anyone came to our table. The server was having a “casual conversation” with the table next to ours during this entire time. Part of our order was never provided. Again, the server never asked if everything was OK and only after we finished eating did he reappear. This was a birthday celebration that fell flat. Very disappointed since it seemed inconsistent with our previous experiences at Flint.
Flint was overall an enjoyable experience. It started off slightly off-putting—when we arrived for our reservation, we were met with a number of employees standing around who didn’t acknowledge us. After waiting for a few minutes, the hostess returned and told us we would be seated after some other guests. Once we were finally seated, we enjoyed Flint. The sea bass was absolutely delicious and our waiter was nice. If you go, you’re sure to enjoy your visit.
We enjoyed our waiter and the food. It took a while to get it, but we enjoyed every bit. It was a great night out!
Came here with my date before a ballet performance, and it did not disappoint. Great food, atmosphere, and service. We each had a couple drinks & entrees, and split it an appetizer for around $150 including gratuity. Highly recommend.
Dinner was very good; things are made to order so the food took a little long, but not a big deal at all for us as we weren't in a rush.
The hostess was super rude, originally she told us that because we didn't have a reservation then we need to wait for 1 hour. That was at 12 pm. I went on open table and booked a reservation for 12:15 and went back in and magically got seated right away. Then our food took 45 minutes to get to the table. It wasn't something crazy either, 4 veggie omelettes and two bowls of fruit.
The waitress was nice and the food was good but the experience was a disappointment. I go there all the time so I was surprised.
Food was not very good for the price. It was ok. The Carmel iced coffee I had was great.
First off, our waiter (Otis) was the highlight of our dinner. He was helpful and friendly. But the food was subpar at best. The dip trio was served with Ruffles chips, packaged pork skins, and a few saltine crackers. Our entrees were barely warm. There wasn't many people in the restaurant because it was on a weekday, but we waited for 15-20 minutes for our check. We were all pretty disappointed in the food.
The waitstaff was slow. We had to ask for refills and our check after very long waits and they were not busy. The food was fair, when it came out it was Luke warm as if it had been ready for a while.. thus our wait I suppose? This was our first ans last time to dine here. Disappointed to say the least.
It was wonderful to be out! Great dinner & wine!
It was amazing
One of the best restaurants we have been to in OKC. The steaks were perfectly cooked and delicious.
Second time at Flint. Nice atmosphere, good food, good service. Our waiter was kind and did a good job for being there just a few weeks. Would expect hostesses to dress up more and not dress so casual for a fine dining restaurant. Black faded jeans with tennis shoes should not be acceptable for hostess for fine dining. My opinion.
Love Flint. Good food, good service. Great downtown location.
The actual restaurant was very nice. It was near empty for a weekday breakfast, which was nice, but the service was very slow and the food was not good at all. Had an omelette that was made with one egg…. It was like a crepe filled with crumbled dry sausage. The ‘breakfast potatoes’ were basically house made potato chips. The only thing positive I can say about this place is that the food was cheap, but still not worth it ever going back.
Friend date great food, pricey but good food and service. Little slow…
Showed up at 6 pm for our reservation before an 8 pm show at the Paycom Center. Our food arrived at 7:30 pm due to some large order being placed ahead of almost everyone in the dining room. This happened with very minimal communication from the server or the manager and with no attempt to bring even a basket of bread while we waited 90 min for our dinner. We had to rush to eat our dinner so that we could make our show. A very disappointing experience. I will probably never come back to this restaurant again.
Outstanding food & service. Location ideal when visiting Myriad Gardens.
I enjoy Flint and have introduced several friends to the venue. This day, unfortunately, our server was not a “happy camper”. We enjoy visiting, enjoying and supporting our local community. I have had dinner and lunch there - delicious! Wonderful service!
Again, this day our server was not attentive. We waited a while for our food and it was ICE COLD. Breakfast doesn’t work - ice cold. So, because we were on a tight schedule we tried to eat it - also, our server didn’t come back to check for 20 minutes.
I got the manager’s attention and asked for our check. The Manager, Justin - was disappointed that we had cold food (that would have been good “warm” - just not COLD). He was attentive and made it right. Thank you, Justin. Because of YOU and your excellent customer service we will return.
Flint is a decent restaurant. I’ve enjoyed several meals and the location is wonderful for experiencing downtown Oklahoma City (Myriad Gardens, Thunder Stadium, Scissortail Park and so much more.
Although, this was my first “not good experience” at Flint. I do recommend you try it. Perhaps for lunch or dinner :)
Bar staff was amazing as always, food is phenomenal
My wife and I enjoyed an early dinner for her birthday! The service was top notch, the food was excellent everything is homemade and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We went for our anniversary dinner and had a wonderful experience. The food and service was terrific and I’d recommend Flint to anyone who is looking for a a special night out.
Two hours to merely be served a salad on a work trip and get ignored for the remainder of our meal where we were never served our entree.
Avoid at all cost
Ambience and service were great. The mimosas were disgusting and we had to send them back. We assumed the juice was expired because it was very clumpy and discolored. The brunch potatoes made up for it! Yum!
Amazing experience from food to service the whole team was awesome!
