   Great experience. Our server was attentive and responsive. Food was very good. We both had fish dishes...mine was Halibut and had a nice flavor and was perfectly prepared. My guest had the sea bass and said it was delicious. No complaints.

   I had to return the eggs Benedict. The yolks were hard instead of soft. By the time they replaced the eggs, the English muffin and ham were cold. I also asked for fruit instead of potatoes and of course got potatoes. Additionally, the place was about 60 percent full when we arrived with reservations. We had to wait ten minutes before someone came to the station to welcome us and check our reservation. Then we waited thirty minutes after ordering before we were served. Neither of the two dinners my husband and I ordered needed roasting or grilling. Only a cooktop. They either need more chefs or fewer customers.

   We enjoyed our experience at Flint. The food was great and the service was as well. Since I indicated we were celebrating our anniversary, it would have been nice to get a better table and maybe even a little something to acknowledge that, but other than that, it was a great experience.

    Booked a 10:15 am for 2. Immediately was sat and waitress was prompt to welcome us and take our drink orders. But then we just sat waiting, and waiting with no word… finally at 11:00 we asked about the status of our order since we had a graduation in Norman to get to… her response was “ it shouldn’t be too, too, too much longer” and quickly walked away. We didn’t feel great about that answer so we waved her down to get an explanation of exactly what that meant. It was a good 5- 10 mins more before she finally returned to tell us it was gonna be at least 20 minutes more for our food. We had to leave. Paid $22 for valet parking and left hungry. Understand if they were short staffed. If they had just told us that when we were seated, we would have known it probably wasn’t going to work for us. And it would have saved both parties a lot of frustration!

    Flint is obviously being impacted by the lack of workers in the service industry. We had an amazing server, but waited nearly an hour and a half for food that came out cold and subpar quality. The staff was helpful and comped one of our meals, but it was still severely disappointing to deal with that. The restaurant wasn’t even half full, but you could tell it was intentional as they couldn’t keep up with what was there.

    The price was too high for the quality of food we received. I would consider $32 for an overcooked chicken breast and $26 for a mediocre steak with bland fries overpriced, but maybe we were an exception. Otherwise the restaurant is beautiful, the service was nice, and the location is great.

    Great service. Very accommodating when we asked to be moved due to a woman who was very loud and wouldn't shut up. We were reseated in an area with lots of prom-going teenagers. They were well-behaved and in no way hindered our enjoyment of the evening. Would recommend the restaurant and the hotel.

    Ok I have to say that Flint has really done it this time! I had my birthdate dinner with my Bestie on March 1 this year and it didn't go as planned for any of us. I was able to return on 4/15 and I have to say this was one of the best experiences that I have had at a restaurant in YEARS! The staff was amazingly attentive, and the entree that was recommended is now our new regular meal!! The espresso martini by the bartender Brett with 2 T's gets 2 thumbs up!! As we left we must have talked about the service for 10 minutes. We are very impressed. Great work Management! This staff is a keeper!

    The coconut scallops are a must! Our service was excellent, the menu is creative and the wine selection is great. Our green beans were not up to par and the manager made sure that we were well taken care of. The dessert menu is minimal but the brulee cheesecake was perfectly executed. This meal was most memorable because of the interesting menu.

    Our Easter brunch reservation was canceled. Presumably there was a glitch in OpenTable. Thankfully the restaurant “moved some things around” and got us a table. Which is a good thing however we spotted several empty tables from the time we sat down until we left. They sat us by the kitchen- literally in front of the kitchen door. I pressed and got us a booth by the window - again which was open and also which had been requested in my reservation. It took an hour to get our food. The food was fine. I had to flag our waiter down twice because he was too busy cleaning glasses and not checking up on us. Until of course he brought the bill and then we saw him every five min. We had been here twice before and enjoyed it. This visit was disappointing from the get go and felt like complete amateur hour. I guess the third time is not always a charm.

    Had Easter Brunch. My kitchen sink omelette was very good. I also had fruit instead of potatoes. All of the fruit was delicious. The charcuterie board was also good. Enjoyed the carafe of mimosas with 3 different juices. Our waiter did a good job of getting the children’s food out right away. The musician played enjoyable music, but it was a bit too loud. We had trouble hearing what our table mates were saying.

    For starters the entree steak and lobster wasn’t cooked anywhere near the requested level. Another thing was we were charged over eighteen dollars just for splitting the entree even after ordering sides and desert. Our meal was over 150.00 for two people. Never again!
